    Marjorie M. Peeters-Eulrich, 93, of the St. Joseph Residence in New Londo n, Wisc., formerly of Clintonville passed away Friday evening July 28, 200 6, at St. Joseph Residence. Marjorie was born on Sept. 20, 1912. She was t he daughter of the late John and Mable (Burton) Stilen. She was unit ed in marriage to John A. Peeters on Sept. 2, 1931. John preceded Marjor ie in death on Oct. 10, 1971. She was later united in marriage to Warren E ulrich on Nov. 11, 1989. Warren also preceded Marjorie in death on April 2 4, 1999. During her life, Marjorie resided in the Township of Deer Cree k, Outagamie County, Wisc., Calif., and in Clintonville. She was a memb er of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bear Creek, and also the St. Ro se Catholic Church in Clintonville.
    Survivors are: Five Sons: John (Dorothy) Peeters, Shiocton. Leland Peeter s, Navarino, Richard (Erma) Peeters, Redwood City, Calif., Donald (Lois) P eeters, Shiocton, James (Frances) Peeters, Black Creek. One Daughter: Jean ette (Wilfred) Theobald, Black Creek. 31 Grandchildren & two Step-Grandchi ldren, 55 Great-Grandchildren & three Step-Great-Grandchildren, two Great- Great-Granddaughters.     Isla A. Flink Suprise, 82, New London, formerly of the Township of Union, Waupaca County, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at the St. Joseph Residence, New London.
    Isla was born on June 19, 1928, the tenth child of twelve in the Township of Maple Creek, Outagamie County, the daughter of the late John and Mabel (Burton) Stilen. She also was raised in the Township of Maple Creek. Isla later met Harold E. Flink at a dance at Pleasant View in the Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County. They married on Aug. 31, 1947, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, New London. The couple lived and farmed in the Township of Union for thirty years. Harold preceded his wife in death in 1977. Isla married Darwin Suprise in 1979 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Symco. Isla continued to live in the Township of Union until she moved to Clintonville and then to New London. Darwin preceded her in death in 2001. Isla had worked for Service Master in Clintonville and then for the Waupaca County Dept. of Health & Human Services until retirement in 1993. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Symco, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Isla also enjoyed farming, gardening, baking, canning, dancing and singing. Decorating and preparing for the holidays was her speciality.
    Although Isla had her trials and battled with health problems the last seventeen years, she maintained a positive, faith-filled life with her great sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
    Survivors include daughter, Tammy (Kenneth) Evers, New London; stepdaughter, Connie (Robert) Leopold, Black Creek; stepsons, Daniel (Diane) Suprise, Stanton, Mich.; James (Jean) Suprise, Mt. Home, ID.; grandchildren, Timothy, Michelle & Kristin Evers; sisters, Vaiden Peeters, Bear Creek; Jeanette McGlone, Shiocton; Marie Gluth & Lucille Pietz, Clintonville; brother, Joseph (Marcille) Stilen, Shiocton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Harold & Darwin; daughter, Debbie in 1972; two sisters, Marjorie Peeters & Lillian McGlone; and four brothers, Gordon, Ira, Merlin & Virgil Stilen.
    Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Symco, with the Rev. Jeffrey Smiles officiating. Interment will be in the Marble Cemetery, Township of Union, Waupaca County.
    Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church until the time of the service.

    Lucille E. Pietz, 79, Township of Deer Creek, Outagamie County, passed away on Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at the Lakeview Specialty Hospital, Waterford, Wis.
    Lucille was born on March 13, 1932, in the Township of Maple Creek, Outagamie County, the daughter of the late John and Mable (Burton) Stilen. She later worked for her grade school teacher for nine months. In 1948, Lucille was hired at Theda Clark Hospital, Neenah, and trained as a nurse's aid, working for fifteen years. While at Theda Clark, Lucille worked at the polio mylitis unit during the years that polio ran rampant. She put herself in jeopardy while working in isolation when others refused.
    On Aug. 29, 1953, at 2 p.m. on a nice sunny day, Lucille was united in marriage to Norman Pietz at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Symco. Lucille continued to work in the polio ward until 1964 when the couple began farming in the Town of Deer Creek until retirement in 1998.
    Norman preceded his wife in death on March 6, 2010. Lucille was a member of the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville where she belonged to the Ladies Aid and was a member of the Bear Creek Lions Club. Her hobbies included gardening, cooking, traveling, dancing and collecting pretty things.
    Survivors include sisters, Vaiden Peeters, Bear Creek; Jeanette McGlone, Shiocton; Marie Gluth, Clintonville;
    brother, Joseph (Marcille) Stilen, Shiocton; sisters-in-law, Alice (Duaine) Bartel, Ogdensburg; and Margaret Pietz, Clintonville; numerous nieces and nephews
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norman; three sisters, Lillian McGlone, Marjorie Peeters and Isla Flink-Suprise; four brothers, Gordon, Merlin, Ira and Virgil Stilen; and special nieces who were flower girls in their wedding, Judy Drath and Deborah Flink .

    Roger L. Stilen, age 79, New London, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2004 at his residence. He was born July 6, 1924 in the Town of Maine, Outagamie County, son of the late Lawrence and Alvina (Balthazor) Stilen. On Dec. 26, 1956 he married Cordell Schimke in New London. She preceded him in death in 1998. Roger was an avid outdoorsman; he loved to hunt and fish. He worked for Fox Tractor in Appleton for over 25 years. He was a member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London.
    He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Stilen, New London; three sons, Jeff (Laurie) Stilen, New London; Greg (Diane) Stilen, New London; Scott (Lori) Stilen, New London; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Maurice (Joyce) Stilen, Shiocton; Floyd (Mae) Stilen, Florida; two sisters, Violet Fields, Clintonville; Goldie Greshamer, New London. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends further survive him.
    His parents; his wife, Cordell; a sister, Dee; a brother, Ronald; and a grandson, Joseph, preceded him in death.
    The Funeral Mass for Roger will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New London with Fr. David Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.

    Maurice Stilen, age 80, passed away Wednesday evening, March 25, 2009, at his home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with emphysema. He was born October 15, 1928, son of the late Lawrence and Alvina (Balthazor) Stilen. On April 28, 1951, he was united in marriage to Joyce Roberts in Oshkosh.
    Maurice was employed with Neenah Paper until his retirement. He was an Army Korean Conflict Veteran. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and making maple syrup on his family farm.
    He is survived by his wife Joyce, his children: Wayne (Cathy) Stilen, Clintonville; Debra (Charlie) McNabb, Lena; Steve (special friend Lou Ann) Stilen, Shiocton; grandchildren: Sandy (Jesse) Le Noble, Greenville; Julie (Cory) Wunderlich, Hortonville; Wayne "Bean" Stilen, Shiocton; Michael (Tina) McNabb, Oconto Falls; Debra (Dave) Hammond, Green Bay; David (Nicole) McNabb, Kewaskum; Michelle Stilen, Shiocton; 20 great-grandchildren: very special great-grandson Bryce St. Thomas (Grandpa's big boy), Katelynn, Kyle, Jaydon, Chase, Daniel, Marah, Branden, Bailey, Nathaniel, Megan, Payton, Abigail, Alex, Hunter, Hannah, Emilie, Faith, Zachary, and Braeden.     Douglas P. Gluth, 57, Clintonville, formerly of Appleton, was called to his Heavenly "workshop" Home on Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, peacefully at his residence.
    Doug was born on Oct. 2, 1954, in Clintonville, the son of Marie (Stilen) Gluth and the late Paul Gluth. He was a graduate of Clintonville High School in 1972, continuing his education at NWTC in Green Bay where he graduated with an Industrial Wood Working degree. This led him to becoming a respected business owner of Brown County Cabinets of 38 years until his declining health. On Aug. 31, 1984, Doug married his high school sweetheart, Connie Arndt, in Eau Claire Dells, Wis. The couple lived in Appleton until 2009, when they moved to their present home near Clintonville. Doug was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton, an active member of the Appleton and Clintonville Curling Clubs, founder of the Appleton Rock Runners and a member of the Clintonville Trap Club. Doug loved fishing and hunting anything-anywhere. All who knew Doug knew him for his love of life, devotion to his wife and son, and love of wood and beer.
    Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Connie, his son, Matthew Gluth, Madison; his mother, Marie Gluth, Clintonville; his sisters, Colleen Swift, Atlanta, Ga.; Connie (Bruce) Parkovich, Marinette, Wis.; Ronda (Tim) Olmsted, Pulaski; Renee (Dan) Katch, Freedom.
    He was preceded in death by his father, Paul August Gluth and his brother-in-law, Leland
    Swift.
    Memorial services will be held 6 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at the St. Martin Lutheran Church, Clintonville, with The Rev. Daniel Burns officiating. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.

    New London - Age 30, New London, died on Friday, May 25, 2018, the result of a logging accident near Amherst (Portage County). Jonathon was born on July 15, 1987 in Neenah. He loved trapping, fishing, and being outdoors. Jonathon was a hard worker; working at Festival Foods, Steel King and Curwood for 10 years and currently owned his own company Stilen Logging. He was intelligent and thoughtful and we will miss his excellent sense of humor.
    Jonathon is survived by his children, Hunter and Drake, Ogdensburg; mother Margie Stilen, New London; father Greg (Diane) Stilen, New London; fiancée Jenny Perry, her children; Celi and Ashton; sisters: Sara Mendoza (fiancé Luke Reinke), Iola, children: Alejandra, Kashton and Gregor; Judy Mayo (significant other, Smokey Slotnick), Cave Junction, OR; daughter Lily and Lydia Seehawer, MN; step-brother Scott, Birmingham AL; step-sister, Susan, Seattle, WA.     He was preceded in death by a brother Greg, maternal grandparents, Alfred and Marjorie Mayo and paternal grandparents, Roger and Cordell Stilen.
    Funeral services for Jonathon will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home, New London with Rev. Greg Watling officiating.
