    Obituary:
    Emma "Ceil" Young, age 89, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 29, 1925 to the late Frances "Frank" and Therese (Gmeinweiser) Islinger in Appleton. On June 6, 1946, she married Virgil Young. Together they raised their five children and worked the family farm. Their house was always full, she welcomed people in for meals, Emma loved cooking and baking. She also enjoyed doing embroidery and gardening.
    She is survived by her children; Judy Young, Rita (Keith) Kort, Dennis Young, Lori (Ron) Mueller and Bruce Young, grandchildren; Caitlin and Kieran Kort, Nicole LaFranka and Jason (Taylor Campbell) Mueller and great grandson, Liam LaFranka. Emma is further survived by her sisters; Mary O'Conner, Barbara Lamoen and Rose Moser, sister in law, Clarice Islinger, as well as many nieces, nephews, other realtives and friends.
    Emma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Virgil, sisters; Theresa Bohman, Erna (Bob) Olson, Annie (Erv) Fenske and Elizabeth Neuville, brother, Frank Islinger brothers in law; James O'Conner, Harold Lamoen, Ralph Moser, George Young, sisters in law; Rella (Daniel) Ziesemer, Angeline (Max) Tabat and Nora (Owen) Olk.
    Funeral services for Emma will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1810 N. McDonald St, Appleton with the Rev. Gerald Falk officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00AM until the time of service at the church.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital Acute care 4th floor for your care of Emma and her whole family, to the Bridges of Appleton for their care of Emma and to Father Falk and Sister Betty for your visits and ministry to Emma.

    Emma married Young, Virgil 6 Jun 1946. Virgil (son of Young, Isaac and Bessette, Eva) was born 11 Jun 1923; died 12 Mar 1985; was buried , Shiocton Bovina St. Denis Cemetery, Shiocton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
