William Ervin Winters, age 77, formerly of Fort Atkinson, WI, died July 1, 2011, at the Aurora House in Weslaco, TX.
William was born in Seymour, Wisconsin on May 14, 1934, the son of Elmer and Frieda (Krueger) Winters. On June 2, 1956, William married Lois Jean Schroeder in Appleton, Wisconsin. He worked at the Fort Memorial Hospital from 1972-1995 in the Maintenence Department. He and his wife spent winters in Texas beginning in 1998, and have been year round residents since 2008. He enjoyed camping and polka dancing with his wife.

William was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011, at 11 am at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 10 am till the time of service.
