    Walter S. Koller, age 94, of Eau Claire died on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire.
    Walter was born on December 26, 1918 to the late Joseph and Mary (Pimiskern) Koller. He grew up in Appleton moving back later to raise his family with his wife, Grace. Walter and Grace Wolf were married on February 14, 1942.
    After completing two years of high school, Walter became an apprentice patternmaker at the age of 17. Due to his profession, he was not drafted during World War II but used his skills building submarines, tanks, guns and airplanes for the war effort. Following the war, Walter worked in several pattern shops in Oshkosh, Fond Du Lac, and finally in Waukesha where he worked for Waukesha Patterns until his retirement at 62.
    Walter and Grace were avid Square Dancers the majority of their lives, even doing some exhibition square dancing. They enjoyed many travels with their friends made through Square Dancing and with the travel club they joined going to Egypt, Germany, Spain, Ireland, Morroco, Hawaii and many more.
    In his later years, Walter became an avid golfer getting a "Hole-in-One." Retiring to a warmer climate at The Villages in Lady Lake, Florida, Walter would spend most of his days golfing. After Grace died in 2004, he returned to Wisconsin to be close to family living at Oakwood Hills Retirement the past 7 years. He enjoyed playing cribbage, sheepshead and became an avid pool player. Everyone remembers him always smiling, being outgoing and friendly.
    Walter is survived by his sons, David Koller and John (SuzAnne) Koller; daughters, Sara Mallo, Kristine (Regess) Krueger, Susan Koller; grandchildren, Connie (Mark) Weis, Colleen Teeters, Trevor Krueger, Rachel (Dennis) Fontana, Brian (Addie) Teeters; great-grandchildren, Taylor Weis, Austin Weis, Noah Walter Teeters, Isaac Teeters, Ella Grace Fontana, Gianna Kristine Fontana; brothers, Emil (Delores) Koller, Albert Koller; sisters, Janet Nelson, Sr. Francesca Koller O.P. (Marie Koller); and many other family members.
    He was preceded in death his wife, Grace; brothers and sisters.
    A Celebration of his Life will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home (on Golf Road one block east of Hwy 93). Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Interment will be at a later date. Evergreen Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.

    Albert M. Koller - age 93 of Waupaca, WI, formerly of Appleton and Saxeville, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Park Vista in Waupaca. He was born on May 28, 1921 in Black Creek, WI, the son of Joseph and Mary (Pimiskern) Koller. He married Virginia Gorrow in June of 1943 in Appleton, WI and she preceded him in death on October 24, 1997.
    Albert is survived by two daughters: Katherine (Leonard) Brasch of Waupaca, and Elizabeth McMahon of Des Plaines, IL, two sons: Timothy (Carla) Koller of Winneconne, and Thomas (Debra) Koller of Milwaukee, grandchildren: Kimberly (John) Long, Christopher (Kimberly) Brasch, Kevin Brasch, Christopher McMahon, John McMahon, Natalie Koller, Heidi Koller, Sarvary Koller, and Sasha Koller, and great grandchildren: Nick, Tanner, Tyler, Cody, Katie, and Reagan. He is also survived by two sisters: Janet Nelson of Orlando, FL, and Sister Francesca Koller of Madison, a brother: Emil (Delores) Koller of Florida, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, his parents, and seven siblings.
    Albert had served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II. He was a tool and dye specialist in the paper conversion industry, and as a co-founder of Circle Machine Company he was involved in the development of the disposable diaper and other disposable medical paper products. He had been a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Ducks Unlimited, and St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca. Albert had many interests including fishing, hunting, golf, tennis, making or fixing anything, and he especially enjoyed the times he could spend with family and friends.
    A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Waupaca, WI with Father Amalraj Roche, Celebrant. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday morning from 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the St. Joseph's Cemetery in Appleton, WI. In lieu of flowers memorials can be directed to the Salvation Army in memory of Albert M. Koller. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the caring staff at Park Vista Retirement Home.
    Al was always someone that could make you smile. He was always working hard and living life!!

    Norbert C. Koller, age 83, of Melbourne, FL, and former Appleton resident, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 3, 2009, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 23, 1926, in Black Creek, son of the late Joseph & Mary (Pimiskern) Koller. Norbert enlisted in the United States Navy at the age of 17 where he served from 1943 until 1946. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he became a lifetime member of the VFW Post 3153 and made a career as a painter and decorator. Following his retirement in 1975, he moved to Florida, where he has since resided.
    Survivors include his wife of 32 years: Adele of Melbourne, FL; nine children: Jeff (Jean) Koller, Black Creek; Brad (Deb) Koller, Appleton; Pat (Sherri) Koller, Appleton; Peter (Mary Kay) Koller, Appleton; Mike (Cindy) Koller, Black Creek; Kathleen (Paul) Bednarczyk, Madison, CT; Andy Koller, Black Creek; Barbara (Mark) Kresmery, Killingworth, CT; Jim (Lori) Koller, Chilton; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepsons: Jeff (Delores) Mahoney, FL; Mark (Laura) Mahoney, FL; five stepgrandchildren; three brothers: Albert Koller, Walter Koller, Emil Koller; three sisters: Elizabeth Pearce, Janet (Harold) Nelson and Sister Fran Koller.
    His parents; three brothers: Otto Koller, Joseph Koller, Frank Koller; a sister: Ann Farrell; and a step-daughter: Martha Johnson preceded him in death.
    A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2009, at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Committal prayers and military rites will be held following the service at St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009.

    Jacob N. Koller, Black Creek, age 21, died unexpectedly on Sunday, January 24, 2010, in the Town of Vandenbroek. Jacob was born in Appleton on October 29, 1988, to Michael and Cindy (Krawczyk) Koller. He graduated at Seymour High School with the class of 2007. Jacob was working on his apprenticeship with International Ventilation Inc. in Grand Chute. He loved riding his motorcycle, playing video games and especially being with people.
    Jacob will be sadly missed by his parents, Michael and Cindy Koller, Black Creek; his sister Samantha Koller (special friend Tyler Felton) Neenah; paternal grandmother, Mary Sebora, CT; maternal grandparents, Barb Myers, Pelican Lake, WI, and Robert (Sue) Krawczyk, Pewaukee; paternal stepmother Adelle Koller; and his faithful and loving Pit Bull, Duce. He is further survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
    He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Norbert Koller.
    A Funeral Service for Jacob will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, January 29, at Zion Lutheran Church, 912 N. Oneida St., Appleton, with the Rev. Kurt Kovanen officiating. Friends may visit directly at the church on Friday from 3 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
