She was born on April 6, 19 07 in Wrightstown the daughter of the late Theodore and Mary (Van De He i) Coenen. On September 20, 1926 she married Henry Jansen and he passed aw ay in 1991. Loretta and Henry resided on North Union Street in Appleton f or many years, and also at Zion Mutual Homes.She is survived by her children: Eugene (Rita) Jansen, Menasha; Earl Janse n, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; Yvonne (Lyle) Butts, Menasha; 18 grandchild ren, 26 great-grandchilden and a son-in-law, Paul Dohr. Mrs. Jansen is al so survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harv ey was born October 12, 1914, in Wrightstown, son of the late Theodore a nd Mary (Van De Hei) Coenen. He was previously married to Lorraine Schuh C oenen and Beulah Buelow Coenen; both of his wives preceded him in death. H arvey was employed by Thilmany Pulp & Paper for over forty years, and w as a member and former president of the Quarter-Century Club there. He w as also a past president of the union local #147 and of the Kaukauna Rod a nd Gun Club. Harvey enjoyed spending time at Lake Poygan and in Phoenix, A rizona. He loved fishing for perch, playing sheepshead, and visiting wi th family and friends. At age 98, the Lord took Evelyn peacefully home, Wednesday, March 16, 2011, with her loving family at her side. The daughter of the late Theodore and Bardeen (Vande Hei) Coenen was born July 10, 1912, in Wrightstown. Evelyn married Adrian Meulemans on October 8, 1934, at St. Paul Catholic Church, Wrightstown, and they had 56 beautiful years of marriage; he preceded her in death in 1991. Evelyn was a lifetime and faithful member of St. Paul Catholic Church and was a former member of the Christian Mothers Society. She and Adrian farmed side-by-side all their married life on the Meulemans family farm. She worked hard yet was always ready for a good time with family and friends. She loved baking and enjoyed sharing her treats with everyone. Evelyn also enjoyed bowling and playing cards, but family was her top priority.
She will be deeply missed by three daughters and sons-in-law: Nancy and Russ Titel, Wrightstown; Sandy and Lloyd Gehring, Freedom; Sherry and Ron Demske, Greenleaf; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dale and Dolly Meulemans, Pete and Linn Meulemans, all of the Town of Wrightstown; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 1 great great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law: Marguerite Coenen and Rita Schampers.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Charlotte; her son, Bruce in 1972; son-in-law, Robert Schmelter in 1979; six sisters and brothers-in-law: Martha (Harold) Ehnerd, Minnie (Vernon) Despins, Estelle (Ralph) Smith, Irene (Fred) Geurts, Clara (Leo) Berken Hendricks, and Ruth (Gordon) Wierschke; three brothers: Harold (Charlotte), Fred and Earl Coenen. On the Meulemans side, she was preceded in death by nine sisters-in-law and ten brothers-in-law.

She was born October 1 5, 1918, in Wrightstown, daughter of the late Theodore and Bardeen (V an De Hey) Coenen. On June 14, 1941, she married Gordon Wierschke. Ruth w as a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kaukauna, and the Altar Societ y. She was always active in church functions. She was employed at Kimberly -Clark for two years prior to joining Gordon in Florida, where he was stat ioned in the Army in 1941. She then went on to enjoy many years as a lovi ng and caring mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She busily created ma ny beautiful crocheted afghans, doilies, and bedspreads for her childre n, grandchildren, and friends. She was always there and enjoyed helping ev eryone. She loved baking goodies and sharing them with family and friend s. Tootie always had that special smile and twinkle in her eye for those w hose lives she touched. She always enjoyed gardening and time spent at t he cottage.

Rita Bodde, age 81, of Montello, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1924, daughter of John and Henrietta "Hattie" (Coenen) Pitsch. She was united in marriage to Robert Bodde on February 24, 1942, in Kimberly, he preceded her in death on July 12, 1991. She was a member of the Lioness Club, Ladies Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, St. John's Ladies Aid, Alter Society, St. Ann's Society, Christian Mothers, Volunteer at Montello Care Center, and she started Home Bound Communion Service for St. John's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three sons: Gene Bodde, Brillion; Anthony (Kim) Bodde, Armstrong Creek; Kenneth (Pat) Bodde, Kaukauna; three daughters: Karen Bodde, Appleton; Barbara (Gary) Seegers, Freedom; Gloria (Dave) Faccio, Montello; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three sisters: Marie (George) Verkuilen, Oneida; Martha DeCleene, Lena; Agnes Johnson, Westfield; a brother, Ray Pitsch, Kimberly; two sisters-in-law: Mary Wallace, Kaukauna; Rita VanLinn, Black Creek; brother-in-law, Charles (Frieda) Bodde, Kaukauna; nieces, nephews, others relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at the Steinhaus-Wachholz Funeral Home in Montello. Friends and family may also visit at the CHURCH on Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Montello. Smith, masking the portio ns of military bomber aircraft components, which were to be protected in t he painting process. She began writing to Joseph Myrechuck during World W ar II. After the war Loretta and Joe became close and on February 16, 194 6, they were married at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. In 195 9, Loretta was employed by Wells Manufacturing and worked there until s he retired in 1984. On April 9, 1991, after forty-five wonderful yea rs of marriage, Joe passed away due to a heart attack suffered while recup erating from prostate surgery. Joan Diedrick, age 82, died at home surrounded by her family on May 16, 2017. Joan was a native of Kaukauna, WI having been born on December 8, 1934 to Peter and Lillian Coenen. Joan attended Kaukauna schools. On November 3, 1951, Joan married Ronald Diedrick, the son of Richard and Margaret Diedrick of Green Bay, WI, and together they celebrated over 65 years of marriage.
Joan was always focused on her family and friends. Joan was a giving and caring person that spread her warmth to others. She was also fun-loving and a joy to be around. Joan enjoyed cooking, going to the casino, and traveling. Her favorite vacations being five trips to Hawaii. Joan enjoyed her grandchildren. She always did special things for all of them. Although not a huge sports fan, she loved number four.
Joan is survived by her husband, Ronald Diedrick; two sons: Pete Diedrick (Scott Roberts) and Jay (Amy) Diedrick; four grandchildren: Sarah (Gary) Krueger, Lindsey (Chris) Strickland, Alex Diedrick (Zach Jacobsen) and Jayna Diedrick; six great-grandchildren: Hannah, Abbi and Chloe Krueger and Sammy, Levi, and Lily Strickland. Joan is also survived by siblings: Dot Schmidt (Bill Vanderloop) and Jack (Judy) Coenen. Joan is also survived by a sister-in-law, Ruth Coenen and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her son, Michael Diedrick; sister, Rosie (Hank) Kuchelmeister; brother, Ralph "Tuffy" Coenen; brother-in-law, Al Schmidt; sister-in-law, Beverly (Marv) Wery; and many aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Joan's family would like to thank Dr. Werner and his staff at the Kaukauna Clinic, the staff at Theda Care at Home Hospice, especially Jenny, and the Kaukauna paramedics for their wonderful care and compassion. Also a special thank you to Joan's hairdresser Therese for her weekly home visits.

She was born on August 9, 1929 in Little Chute, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Henry M. and Nettie (DeBruin) Coenen. She graduated from St. John High School in Little Chute, and then was employed at a law office and HC Prange Co. in Appleton. She married James F. Schuh on October 15, 1949 at St. John's Church in Little Chute, and they shared 67 years together while raising seven children. Volunteering played a large part in her life - at the school, church, visiting the elderly, and at the food pantry in Little Chute. She also enjoyed knitting, jigsaw puzzles, and shopping. She was considered by her family as the "Coupon Queen."
Julia is survived by her husband, James F. Schuh, Kaukauna; five children: Gary Schuh, William (Mary Jo) Schuh, James M. Lois Pomeroy, age 79 passed away at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna on September 25, 2014. Lois was born in Little Chute on September 2, 1935, daughter of the late Henry and Annette (DeBruin) Coenen. She was a 1953 graduate of the Kaukauna High School, where she later went on to a long career as a cook in the school kitchen. On April 21, 1954, Lois married David Pomeroy at St. John's Church in Little Chute. He preceded her in death in 1983. Later, she married Harry Michalowski; they were together for seven years prior to his death. Everyone will remember Lois for the many activities she was involved with. They included the Queen of Peace Choir at Holy Cross Church, the VFW Women's Auxiliary, the Ladies of Holy Cross, her square dancing groups, service as a volunteer at St. Paul Elder Services, as an Attic Angel, as a leader in Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts, and for playing sheephead with the very same group of friends since high school days.
Lois is survived by her loving children: Terry (Colleen) Pomeroy and Gail (Rex) Anderson, both of Wauwatosa; Gloria (Jody) Ackerman and Fr. Thomas Pomeroy, both of Kaukauna; and Dennis (Shannon) Pomeroy of Pardeeville. Her grandchildren are Brad Pomeroy, Keri Pomeroy, Tracy (Matt) Berroa, Brad Polander, Meghan Polander, Jennifer (Sam) Purdy, Melissa Anderson, Ben (Candie) Ackerman, Laura (Chris) Pohlman, and Megan Pomeroy. Lois also loved her great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Pomeroy, and was looking forward to the birth of another very soon. She also leaves behind a brother: Bob (Rosella) Coenen of Freedom; two sisters: Shirley Carlson of Kimberly and Julia (Jim) Schuh of Little Chute. Many of the Pomeroy family members are still living, and they include Ken and Vi, Jean, Nancy and Elmer, Sherry and Ron, and Harland. Sharon Rose Belling, age 71, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. She was born January 31, 1939, daughter of the late Henry and Nettie (De Bruin) Coenen. Sharon worked for the first Kaukauna Clinic for several years. She later worked for many local supper clubs. Sharon, affectionately nicknamed "Mouse," enjoyed going to the casino, and card playing, especially cribbage. She loved her family and friends and get-togethers were most important to her. Mouse loved the Christmas holiday because it was her special time to see all her family together.

Gene was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. and w as a part of the Korean Conflict. He was employed as an ink technician wi th Marathon/Sun Chemical Corporation from 1950 until 1992, when he retir ed after 42 years. Gene loved playing cards, going up north to the fami ly cottage, and crossword puzzles. Gene was an avid reader and enjoyed wat ching the Packers and listening to the Brewers. Earl H. Jansen, 78, of Chambersburg, PA, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, July 17, 2013, in the emergency room of Chambersburg Hospital. Born March 31, 1935, in Little Chute, WI, he was a son of the late Henry and Loretta E. Coenen Jansen. He earned a BS in Engineering from Marquette University in Milwaukee and retired as a Quality Assurance/Technical Manager from the former James River Corporation in Chambersburg on August 1, 1990, after many years of service. He attended Corpus Christi Catholic Church for many years, was a member of Knights of Columbus Council #1426 and B.P.O. Elks Lodge #600, all in Chambersburg. Mr. Jansen was an eclectic music connoisseur and an avid reader of non-fiction. He especially enjoyed reading about current events and history.
He is survived by three sons, Randy A. Jansen and wife Melody of Chambersburg, Mark A. Jansen and wife Marie of Columbia, MD, and Timothy J. Jansen and wife Vicki of Waynesboro, VA; a daughter, Linda S. Strite of Chambersburg; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Yvonne M. Butts and husband Lyle of Menasha, WI. He is also survived by a sister-in-law, Rita Jansen; a brother-in-law, Paul Dohr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene R. Jansen; a sister, Elaine Dohr; and a grandson, Shaun Jansen.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2013, in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Rev. Paul Theisz officiating. Interment will follow at Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday.

Donald W. Coenen, age 78, of Appleton, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at his residence. Don was born on May 23, 1932, in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, the son of Raymond J and Lorinda (Turkow) Coenen. On September 5, 1953, he was united in marriage to Jo Ann Flunker. Don worked for Valley Contractors for over 44 years retiring in 1994.
He was a faithful member of Zion United Church of Christ in Dale. He was a volunteer at the Dale Food Pantry. Don enjoyed fishing, woodworking, gardening, golfing, and playing cards. He was also a loyal and avid Packers fan.
He is survived by his brothers: Kenneth (Lois) Coenen, Appleton; Kermit (Joan) Coenen, Crandon; one sister, Linda (Gene) Koponen, Montana; brothers-in-law, Gene (Fran) Flunker, Menasha; Robert (Audrey) Flunker, Appleton; and Willard (Betty) Flunker, Appleton; sisters-in-law, Jerelyn (Daniel) Grunwald, Appleton; and Rosie Coenen, Shawano; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Duane C. "Coondog" Coenen, 73, Bonduel passed away on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, in Appleton. Born Jan. 29, 1937, in Kaukauna, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Lorinda (Turkow) Coenen. He grew up in the Town of Center and attended Freedom High School, then served with the National Guard for 6 years. He was a construction worker with Local 931/330, the last 25 years prior to retirement with Boldt Construction, also farmed for many years in the Towns of Center and Black Creek at 5 Corners. In 1996, he retired and moved to Shawano Lake. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, golfing, fishing, listening to country and western and polka music and polka dancing, building with wood, playing cards and traveling the U.S.A. He and Rosemary became snowbirds and spent the last 8 winters in Florida. He married Rosemary Otto on Sept. 6, 1958, in Black Creek and was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cecil, the Laborers Local 931/330 over 50 years, serving as Sergeant of Arms and on the Executive Board for many years.
Duane is survived by his wife, Rosemary, of 52 years; daughters, Connie (Wayne) Stamper of Laona, Karen Wendt of Seymour, Cindy (Steve) Nysse of Freedom, Tina (Paul) Wenninger of Seymour; a son, Gary (Tammy) Coenen of Appleton; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Zeta Mollen Huisman, of Kimberly, age 83 years, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital with her family by her side. She was born June 18, 1923, in Racine, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Gertrude (Vande Hey) Vandenberg. Zeta grew up on a farm in West De Pere and later married Emery Mollen of Little Chute on August 20, 1942, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Wrightstown, who preceded her in death in 1976. She married Nicholas Huisman on May 10, 1980, at Immanuel United Church of Christ, Kaukauna, and he preceded her in death in 1998. Zeta had many hobbies including card playing, knitting, crocheting afghans for all the new babies and making comforters for the newlyweds. Sundays was always a day to come to Grandma's house. She loved her grandchildren and there was always room at the table to enjoy a home cooked dinner.

Isabelle Vosters, age 92, of Freedom, passed away on January 30, 2017, at the Country Villa Assisted Living peacefully in her sleep. Isabelle was born on November 22, 1924, in Kaukauna, daughter of Nicholas and Gertrude Vandenberg. On August 7, 1947 she was united in marriage to Gilbert Vosters. Gilbert and Isabelle celebrated 67 years of marriage. She was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Catholic church in Freedom where she was a Christian mother. She also worked at the hot lunch program. Gilbert & Isabelle ran a dairy farm from 1950 to 1987 in the Freedom area with the help of their family. Isabelle was always there providing for their family baking bread, cooking and making pies. Gilbert and Isabelle's routine included attending church and playing sheepshead or smear on Sundays. They enjoyed Friday fish fries and making the rounds to visit the ones unable to get out. They enjoyed trips to the casino.

Jean Van Dera, Little Chute, Jean Magdeline Van Dera, age 88, went home to our Lord on Thursday, July 17th, 2014 with her daughter at her side. She was born on February 24, 1926 to the late Nicholas & Gertrude (VandeHey) Vandenberg. On May 2, 1944 she married her husband of 62 years, Theodore J Van Dera, who preceded her in death in 2006. Jean worked at Riverside Paper Mill for nine years, helped her husband on the milk route for six years before purchasing the bar known as "Ted & Jean's Bar" in St. John which they ran for 34 years, before retiring to their home on Boundary Lake near Crivitz and then to Kaukauna. Jean loved to write & always had a dream to write a book. In 1996 her dream was fulfilled and her book, "A Twist of Faith" was complete.
Jean is survived by her daughter Pamela Van Dera, New Holstein; and her son Theodore W. A Mass of Christian Burial for Jean will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2014, at St. John's Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 Pine Street, Little Chute with Father Ron Belitz & Msgr. James Vanden Hogen concelebrating. Friends may call directly at church from 2 p.m. until the time of mass. Entombment will take place in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Obituary:
Pearl Pleshek, age 86 of Kaukauna, passed away at a local nursing center on Thursday morning, September 25, 2014. Pearl was born in Green Bay on December 10, 1927, daughter of the late Nicholas and Gertrude (VandeHey) VandenBerg. Pearl grew up on a farm outside of Freedom, and at the age of eighteen, began work at Riverside Paper in Appleton. In 1948, she married Roy Pleshek, and together the couple enjoyed sixty-two years together, until the time of Roy's death in 2010. During their years together, Roy worked many double shifts at the paper mill, and Pearl prided herself on the raising of their eleven children. When the children were older, Pearl went to work at the former Kaukauna Cheese. In their retirement, they enjoyed travel, golfing, and hosting family events. Throughout her life, Pearl was very active, not leaving a moment to waste. In her younger years, she refinished antiques, mended clothing, cared for a large garden and put up the produce it provided. On Saturdays, the house was filled with the aroma of fresh baked bread and cookies, cooling row upon row on the kitchen table. In her later years, Pearl enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by her children: Daniel Pleshek (Jean), Gary Pleshek, Wane (Teena) Pleshek, Dave (Karen) Pleshek, Linda (John) Rohm, Judy (Bob) Zitzelburger, Sandy (Daniel) Hoelzel, Mary Pleshek, Nancy Wenzel, 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy's parents Edward and Helen Pleshek, sisters Vonnie, Zeta, and Jean; a brother Doug; sons Dale and Tim Pleshek; a son-in-law Todd Wenzel; grandchildren Danielle Pleshek, Gerald Pleshek, and Sherry Hoelzel; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral liturgy for Pearl will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 309 Desnoyer Street in Kaukauna, with Father Tom Pomeroy officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Entombment will be in Appleton's Highland Memorial Park. Pearl was a hard working and loving mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
