Filz, Carmen H.
AppletonAge 69, passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2001 at Appleton Medical Cen ter following a lengthy illness. She was born on April 28, 1932 in Applet on the daughter of the late Le Roy and Hannah (Timm) Smith. On Octob er 8, 1955 she married Myron Filz in Appleton. They enjoyed 46 years toget her. Carmen and "Bud" enjoyed antiques and were often seen at various fl ea markets talking with others about antiques. Carmen also loved to trav el with her husband, son and daughter-in-law. One of her greatest sourc es of joy was their little dog Kelcee.She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister and will be miss ed by her husband Myron "Bud," Grand Chute; her son, Jeffrey (Cindy) Fil z, her grandson Jebb R. Filz; and her brother James (Paula) Smith, a ll of Appleton.Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, November 26, 2001 at 11 a. m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 209 South Allen Street with the Rev. Chr is Lee-Thompson officiating. Entombment will take place at Highland Memori al Park. Friends may call the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until the ti me of the service.
