    Joseph Romanesko, age 86, di ed Thursday, September 10th, 1998 at Franciscan Care and Rehab cente r. He was born January 3rd, 1912 in Freedom, the son of William and Mary ( Smits) Romanesko. Joseph married Elvera "Sis" Garvey on May 1st, 19 40 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on Decemb er 13th, 1979. He owned and operated Romanesko's Grocery Store in Stephen sville from 1946 to 1972. He was a long time a member of St. Nicholas Cat holic Church. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine (Landwehr) Romanesk o, of Freedom, a son, Richard Romanesko of Wausau, three grandchildren, Ri ck Romanesko, Randy Romanesko and Jenny and Kirk Ecklund, four great-grand children, Chanon Gallow, Trenton and Tanner Ecklund and Joseph Romanesk o, a brother Walter Romanesko of Little Chute, two sisters and a broth er in law Verona Peters, of Little Chute, Mary and Jerome Seavers, of Kimb erly. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, "Sis", two broth ers, Clarence and Elmer Romanesko, two sisters, Mildred Sonnleitner and Ka thy Gonnering. The fuel liturgy will be held At 1:30 P M Saturday, Septem ber 12th, 1998 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Freedom with Father Denn is Ryan officiating. Burial will be in the St. Nicholas cemetery.

    Richard "Dick" J. Romenesko, age 73, of Schofield, died Wednesday, November 30, 2016, peacefully with his family by his side. As of late, Dick had been residing with his daughter in Omro.
    He was born April 17, 1943, to the late Joseph "Joe" and Elvera "Sis" Romenesko. For many years Dick was employed in the sheet metal trades. He enjoyed snowmobiling and was active in his snowmobile club. He also enjoyed four-wheeling with his friends in the northwoods no matter what the weather was. Dick also enjoyed watching the Packers win or lose. More than anything Dick loved to watch his grandchildren Trenton, Tanor, and Tierney compete in their many sporting events.
    Dick is survived by a son, Rick Romenesko, of Omro; a daughter, Jenny Ecklund-Van Dyke (Rob), of Omro; grandchildren, Trenton Ecklund (fiancée, Serena), Tanor Ecklund, Tierney Ecklund, Chanon Gallow, Joseph Romenesko (Amanda); great-grandchildren, Serenity Romenesko, Logan Romenesko, Ace Ecklund; and many other relatives and friends.
    Along with his parents, Dick was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Romenesko.
    A visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, W2033 Cty Rd S Freedom. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Fr. Walter Stumpf officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Nicholas Cemetery, Freedom.

    Randy John Romenesko, of Rhinelander, formerly of Neenah, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday May 18, 2013. He was born August 29, 1963 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton to Richard "Dick" Romenesko and Mary Garvey. Randy was employed at NEX Performance Films in Rhinelander, where he lived for the last 15 years. He loved snowmobiling, four wheeling, the Hodag Country Music Festival and the Packers.
    Randy is survived by his children: Chanon Gallow and Joseph (Amanda) Romenesko; granddaughter Serenity Rose Romenesko; parents: Richard "Dick" Romenesko and Mary (Sonny) Garvey; brother: Rick Romenesko; sister: Jenny (Rob) Van Dyke; nephews and niece: Trenton, Tanor and Tierney Ecklund; and step sisters: Cori (Ken) Coenen, Lori (Dale) Dietrick and Kelly (Paul) Randerson; and Godmother: Kathy Hull. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
    Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph and Elvera "Sis" Romenesko and Roy and Ceil Kuehl; step brother: Allen Garvey; and Godfather Lowell Garvey.
