    Agnes Nett, 85, of Kimberly, died Friday, September 27, 2013, at Cherry Meadows Hospice.
    Agnes was born in Little Chute on January 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Lamers) Lemmers. She was a graduate of Kimberly High School and was united in marriage to Martin J. Nett on September 11, 1948, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1993. They were blessed with five daughters and a son. Prior to her retirement, Agnes was employed as a receptionist at various area businesses.
    Agnes was a very vibrant and energetic lady. She was an amazing caretaker and caregiver. She loved going to the Kimberly YMCA, enjoyed quilting, gardening and dancing. Dog sitting and walking her four-legged friends was a favorite activity, especially with her furry companion, Boomer. Agnes was a great cook, and her family will always remember her for her "Nett Soup" recipe.
    Survivors include her children: Rosalie Nett and Barbara (Randy) Malom, of Rice Lake; Marilyn Besch, Appleton; Laura (Randy) Butters, Ripon; Catherine (Ronald) Wetmore, Green Bay; and Douglas (Marie) Nett, Rice Lake; her grandchildren: Judd Hoelzel, Carly Gifford, Alissa Schmidt, Abbey Malom, Andrew Besch, Julie Besch, Sarah Cressey, Jill Heule, Russell Hooyman, Marshall Hooyman and Jacob Nett. There are 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Stephen (Betty) Lemmers, Appleton, and many special friends. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a grandson, Michael, a granddaughter, Celeste, two sisters, Doris Cost and Ethel Zuzelski, and four brothers, Leo, Thomas, Ronald and Lawrence Lemmers.
    A memorial service for Agnes will be TODAY at 5:00 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and relatives at 2:00 p.m. today until the hour of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and plants, a memorial fund is being established in her honor at the Gardens of the Fox Cities, at 1313 East Witzke Blvd., Appleton, WI, 54911 (info@gardensfoxcities.org)
    The family would like to thank the staffs at Rennes Health Center, Peabody Manor and Theda Clark at Home Hospice for the wonderful care given to Agnes.

    Ronald Theodore Lemmers, 66, Black Creek, passed away unexpectedly Feb. 18, 2010. He was born May 29, 1943, to the late Theodore and Elizabeth (Lamers). After graduation, Ron served in the U.S. Army and later landed a job at Miller Electric, where he crafted a career building, supervising, repairing and working on the R&D of small, engine-drive welders and generators. Throughout his life, Ron enjoyed camping and fishing, landscaping and gardening, woodworking and spending quality time with his family and friends.
    He was a loving husband, father and friend who never thought twice about helping others. He appreciated the simple things in life like feeding the birds, enjoying a good campfire and the companionship of his beloved chocolate labs. Ron spent the last 15 years of his life with his "little angel" Christine (Resop) and was married to her Oct. 12th, 2008.
    Ron is survived by his loving wife Chris, sons: Andrew (Camille) and Matthew (Sheri), brother: Steve (Betty), sisters: Ethel Zuzelski, Doris Cost and Agnes Nett, mother-in-law: Mary Resop, sister-in-law: Sue Resop and granddaughter Carley. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Lawrence, Leo, and Thomas.
    A celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Valley Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. until time of service (6:30 p.m.) and will be concluded with military honors.
