    Anton (Tony) Kons, 1201 Garfi eld Ave. Little Chute - Formerly of Darboy, age 100, died at 5:45 p.m Frid ay June 16,1989. Tony was born on a farm in Darboy on November 22, 188 8. He married Theresa Weber on May 22, 1923 at Holy Cross Catholic Churc h, Kaukauna. The couple then moved to Appleton and 15 years later his wi fe died in childbirth. Tony worked as a water well driller and well equipm ent repairman. He moved from Appleton to Menasha, and resided on Second s treet for 16 years, before moving to the Hotel Menasha where he lived f or seven years. Tony was a regular visitor to the Menasha Senior Citzen 's Center enjoying meals and activities there. On October 12, 1988 he mov ed to Parkside Care Center, Little Chute. Tonys activities were dancing, b owling and bingo. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. He was p receded in death, by his parents, Anton and Barbara (Siegert) Kons, his w ife; Theresa in 1938, three brothers; John in 1962. Mike in 1963 and Jak e, in 1954; four sisters: Elizabeth in 1931;Margaret in 1947, Matilda in 1 945, Anne in 1962. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday fr om Holy Angels Catholic Church, Darboy with Rev: Elroy Reimer officiatin g. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

    Clarence A. "Mike" Kons, 94, Little Chute, died Tuesday January 3, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 12, 1917 in Little Chute to the late John A. and Odelia (Schaumann) Kons. Mike married Rosella E. "Sally" LeNoble on November 27, 1941 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church where he was a lifelong member. He retired from the Appleton Paper Combined Locks Mill in 1982 after 43 years of service and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Mike and his family had 25 years at their cottage at Pelican Lake, where they enjoyed fishing, boating and swimming. He also liked playing cards, hunting, bowling and fishing and was a former member of the Fox Valley Golf Club. Mike loved to travel and took trips to Germany, Hawaii, Canada, Florida, Kentucky and Ohio.
    Mike is survived by his wife of 70 years, Rosella "Sally"; son David D. (Virginia), Hinckley, OH; grandchildren: David D. (Jackie) Kons Jr. and Jennifer M. (Tom Owen) Kons; great grandsons Logan J. and Joshuah D. Kons; sister: Arnella "Connie" Ballard; and Godchildren: Richard Fischer, Dennis Ballard, Pat Springstroah, Don Hearden and Joannie Bongers. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his stepmother Wilhelmina (LeNoble) Kons; brothers and sisters: Arthur (Harriet), Wilbert (Fran), Raymond (Alyce) and Angeline Kons, Laverne (Ed) Bongers, Emily (Paul) Ballard and Rita (Al) Fischer; stepbrothers and sisters: Cornelius, Frank, William, Sr. Mary Virginia, Nellie and Anne; and brother-in-law: Don Ballard.

    Kons, Raymond H.Raymond H. Kons, of Little Chute, died Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Novemb er 24, 2005, at St. Elizabeth Hospital at the age of 82. Raymond was bo rn in Little Chute April 6, 1923, son of the late John and Odelia (Schauma nn) Kons. On Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 1942, he married Alyce Scho ol at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, Little Chute, where he was a li felong member. Raymond was a World War II Army Veteran and a 61-year memb er of the Jacob Coppus American Legion Post #258, Little Chute. He was a b eater engineer at the Thilmany mill until his retirement in 1978 aft er 34 years of service. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club and t he Catholic Order of Foresters. Raymond enjoyed tinkering with cars, hunti ng, fishing, camping, playing cards and lawn work. He especially enjoyed s pending time with his family and always had a soft spot for his pets.     Diane H. (nee Kons) Matuszak, Appleton, age 78, died Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Hospital following complications of a heart attack suffered on Mother's Day. Diane was born on November 28, 1931, to the late Jacob and Anna (Heimmerman) Kons and has resided her entire life in Appleton. After the death of her father, she helped raise her siblings, and also took care of her mother in her later years.
    On November 8, 1954, she was united in marriage to LeRoy R. Matuszak at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Darboy. The couple has enjoyed over 55 years together. Diane loved waitressing, and truly enjoyed meeting so many people throughout the years at the Darboy Club, Country Aire, and most recently at the VFW. She retired in 2010 after 40 years. She's also worked in the past at Zwicker Knitting Mill and Atlas Paper. Diane was a hard worker who enjoyed a clean home and felt blessed to be able to clean for others.
    Diane's faith was immeasurable as was her generosity to numerous missions and St. Bernadette Catholic Church, of which she was a charter member.

Friends may visit from 4 - 8 p.m. on Friday, May 21, at the Brettschneider-Trettin-Lederer Funeral Chapel, and directly at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Parish Prayer Service will take place at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel. Interment will take place at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery, Darboy. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

    Caroline Hart, age 77, of Mesa, AZ., passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, August 12, 2017, surrounded by her loving and caring family after a 17 year bought with Alzheimer's.
    Carol was born in Little Chute, WI to Art and Harriet (DeWildt) Kons on March 21, 1940. She attended St. John's Catholic School, class of 1959, and was also a twirler in the Little Chute's Drum and Bugle Corp. One of her many qualities was being the best single mother and provider possible for her five children: Debra, Audrey, Valerie, Glen and Scott, all of Mesa, AZ.
    Carol is survived by her five children; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Ron Kons of Kaukauna and a sister, Angie VanGroll of Kimberly.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Art of Maine, a brother Norbert "Red" of Oklahoma and a sister Tess of Oklahoma.
    One of Carol's favorite activities that she will definitely be remembered for is dancing - especially to country music. She taught all of her children to Polka, Waltz and the Two-Step. No doubt, she is now dancing in heaven.

    Our dearly loved Rosemary, was born to eternal life, on Tuesday, March 1st, 2016. The 2nd oldest of 6 children, this little bundle of joy arrived in Little Chute, WI, on December 29, 1935 to Wilbert (Bud) and Frances Kons. She attended and graduated from St. John's High School, Little Chute, in 1955.
    She met the love of her life at the Little Chute Friday night dance. Jack Nienhaus unknowingly sat in Rosemary's seat while she was out dancing. She spotted Jack from across the dance floor, ran over to him, and sat on his lap. Then, coyly, she said to him, "I hope you don't think I am flirting". Rosemary later told her girlfriends that he was the man she was going to marry. Her wish was granted, and Rosie and Jack shared 59 years together in marriage.
    They were blessed with 8 hard-working and dedicated children who truly think the world of their mother. She was always a hard worker and she passed those values to her children and grandchildren. She lived most of her life in Freedom, WI, where she raised and cared for, dogs, horses, chickens, rabbits, but mostly kids! In the summer, Rosemary gathered all her children to work in the garden every morning and rewarded them by taking them all to Plamann swimming pool in the afternoon. She canned numerous quarts of pickles, beets, beans, slippery jims, and also had a flourishing raspberry patch.
    Rosemary devoted her entire life to living out her faith in God, in service to her family and friends. She had such a positive outlook on life and any challenge she was faced with was hers to conquer. She started the first preschool in Freedom (She loved children and they loved her)., was a beloved den mother for the Boy Scouts, and still found time to take her turn ironing all of the priest's vestments for Father. Rosie also organized and led an exercise group that Jack attended only one time. He was exhausted after the first 15 minutes.
    Rosemary's wish for all of us would be to dance through life's good times and bad times. Her virtuous life was a stepping stone to her eternal home into heaven as she so lovingly and selflessly cared for all those God put in her path. We know that heaven will reward her with all that her heart can hold (and she had such a big heart!!) We love her, miss her and hold her dear in our hearts always!! Through her actions, we have learned to love God, love one another, and love ourselves. Thank you for all of life's most important lessons. God Speed, Rosie!

She is further survived by 7 great-grandchildren, as well as her sister, Irene Genett and brother Michael (Barbara) Kons, her brother-in-law, Al (Diane) Nienhaus, sister-in-law Karen (Larry) Blohm, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving Grandchild Lucas Nienhaus, her parents, Bud and Frances Kons, her parents-in-law, John and Edna Nienhaus, her brothers, Dick and Bobby Kons and Baby Joey.
    Funeral services for Rosemary will be held at 12 noon on Monday, March 7, 2016 at ST. NICHOLAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, W2037 County Rd S, Freedom, with Fr. Walter Stumpf and Msgr. James Vanden Hogen concelebrating. Visitation will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Drive, Kaukauna, with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service concluding the evening. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services directly at the church. Burial will take place in the parish cemetery.     Richard C. Kons, age 71, passed away unexpectedly on February 22, 2009, in Mesa, AZ, following a short battle with cancer. Dick was born on August 2, 1937, in Little Chute to Bud and Frances Kons. He graduated from St. John High School and St. Norbert College. Following graduation, he moved to Minnesota where he lived and worked for many years, moving back to Little Chute in 2000. On June 29, 2000, Dick married Peg (Hietpas) Bongers. Dick enjoyed spending time at their winter home in Mesa, AZ, the cottage at Legend Lake, cooking, card games, fishing and softball games.
    Dick is survived by his wife, Peg, and her daughters, Betsy (Dan) Hermus of Little Chute and Barb (Mike) McLean of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren Melissa (Nate) Luedtke, Emily and Ben Hermus, Calvin and Calista Mclean, a brother, Mike (Barbara) Kons, sisters, Rosie (Jack) Nienhaus, and Irene Genett, in addition to several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his children; daughters; Patty (Ted) Cincoski, Karen (Rick) Hansen, Paula Lanik, Kathryn (Terry) Ross, Berta Kons. Sons; John (Lisa) Kons, Peter Kons, 12 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

    Robert "Rocky" Norman Wolff, 64 of Winneconne passed away on September 12, 2015. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Robert enjoyed traveling, spending time feeding the fish in his pond and pointing out the deer and turkeys for future hunts on his land with his family and friends. He was always up for a game of cribbage and was sure to mark the score. Robert will leave a large void in the many lives he touched.
    Robert was a Sergeant in the Air Force from 1969 to 1973 and served a tour in Vietnam. He also worked at Trussco for many years.
    Robert was born June 19, 1951, in Appleton to Emil and Eileen (Kons) Wolff.
    Robert is survived by his step-children, Gwen (Luis) Guerra, Margate, FL; and Audrey (Kevin) Mittelsteadt, Freeport, IL; grandsons, Ryan and Nicholas Guerra; granddaughter, Maura Mittelsteadt; brothers and sisters, Rita Wolff, Appleton; Raymond (Lois) Wolff, Mountain; Carol (Larry) McBrair, Oshkosh; Mary (David) Burch, Morgantown, WV; James (Cindy) Wolff, Appleton; Johannes (Julie) Willems Van Dijk, Wausau; Maria (Robert) Vlach, Appleton; Margaret (Dean) Obry, Appleton; Anthony (Mary) Willems Van Dijk, Cary, IL; Henricus (Toni) Willems Van Dijk, Appleton; Cornelia (Brian) Gossen, Menasha; Godchild, Jaclyn (Andrew) Schaller; special nephew, Nathan Wolff; many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews; nine sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law.
    He was preceded in death by his wife Suzanne and his parents.
    A celebration of his life will be on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Cemetery, Cty Hwy KK Darboy.
