Marie was born in the town of Harrison on July 3, 1924, daughter of t he late Jacob and Elizabeth (Schmidt) Horn. On June 18, 1946, she was unit ed in marriage to Norbert Vandeyacht in Sherwood; he survives. As a you ng woman, Marie worked in the Two Rivers area. She enjoyed growing Afric an violets, as well as creating ceramic pieces, and crocheting.Marie is survived by three daughters: Carol (Larry) Kauer of Kaukauna; Don na Chappell of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Joanne Vandeyacht of Kimberly; fi ve sons: Earl "Duke" (Bobbie) Vandeyacht of Sunsites, Arizona; Mark (Yarde na) Vandeyacht of Edmonds, Washington; Russ (Rose) Vandeyacht of Sunsite s, Arizona; Steve (Lee) Vandeyacht of Dillon, Colorado; and Brian (Beverl y) Vandeyacht of Alanson, Michigan; seventeen grandchildren: Krista (Ji m) Luedtke, Jason Kauer, Troy Vandeyacht, Scott Vandeyacht, Terri Boelte r, Jeremy (Mindi) Boelter,Christopher Boelter, Danielle Vandeyacht and h er fiancee Richard Storm, Sarah Chappell, Heather Chappell, Daniel Chappel l, Claire Vandeyacht, Elli Vandeyacht, Ashley Vandeyacht, Andrew Vandeyach t, Alex Vandeyacht, and Abigail Vandeyacht; five great grandchildren: Dani el, Kassandra, Kaylynne, Ocean, and Brooke; two brothers: Norbert (Barb) H orn of Sherwood and Eugene Horn of Menasha; three sisters: Angeline (Grego r) Weber of Fond du Lac; Josephine Van Linn of Neenah; Betty (Tony) Mallma nn of Florida; a sister-in-law: Shirley Horn of Sherwood. Marie is furth er survived by countless nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friend s. She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandsons Kevin and Aar on Kauer, a brother Marvin Horn, a sister Georgine (Lloyd) Porter, and a b rother-in-law Eugene Van Linn.Funeral services for Marie will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 1 0, 2004 at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Carey officiating. Inte rment will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Hollandtown. Friends may call direc tly at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the ho ur of the services.The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to Dr. Brian Sco tt as well as to the entire staff at St. Paul Elder Services.     Vandeyacht, Joanne L.Joanne Vandeyacht, 47, of Kimberly, passed away peacefully on November 3 0, 2005. She was born July 14, 1958, in Green Bay the daughter of the la te Norbert "Nubs" and Marie (Horn) Vandeyacht. Joanne was a graduate of La keland College. She was employed in the paper industry for many years, mo st recently at SCA Tissue. Joanne enjoyed beautifying things with her crea tive and artistic abilities, shown in her peaceful backyard, refurbished a ntiques, paintings and her dream property up north.
