    Obituary:
John L. Peeters' earthly life ended on October 17, 2006. John was a devoted husband and father. He and his wife, Kitty, were married on June 27, 1970, and lived in Kaukauna for 33 years. John graduated from St. John's High School in Little Chute in 1966, Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1970, and from the UW-Madison Law School in 1973. In 1973, he and Kitty moved back to the area and John began working at McCarty Law in Kaukauna, where he then became a partner.
In his free time, John loved to hunt and take Canadian fishing trips with his sons and friends, spend time with his family at the cottage he built, read, and take long walks with his dogs. He greatly appreciated music, from Mozart to The Beatles. John placed a high value on education, honesty, respecting the environment, and on giving back to one's community. He loved his wife Kitty, and his children: Nat and Kerry Peeters, Kevin and Annie Geurts, Danny and his fiancee Lisa Killian, and Maggie. John set high standards for himself as a husband and father and was an effortless example of love and respect for his children.
John is survived by his brothers and sisters: Mary and Bob Elrick, Pat and Jerome Diedrick, Chuck and Kim Peeters, Joe and Barb Peeters, Amy and Jeff McLaughlin, and Lisa Peeters and Shane Jentz; his mother-in-law, Mary Jansen; and his sisters- and brothers-in-law: Pam and Mike Wiegert, Vicki Beyer, and Jackie Murillo.
John was preceded in death by his father and mother, Shorty and Bernice Peeters.
