    Bethke, Bernard S., Parksi de Care Center, Little ChuteAge 76, formerly of Brillion, died Sunday, February 15, 2004. He was bo rn April 14, 1927 in Kasson, son of the late Peter and Elsie (Hauser) Beth ke. On April 11, 1953 he married Roslyn Curtis. He worked at Brillion Ir on Works until his retirement in 1989. He was a member of Holy Family Cath olic Church in Brillion. Survivors include his wife, Rosie; his childre n: Sylvia (Robert) Loose, Forest Junction; Dave (Laurie) Bethke, Reedsvill e; Sharon Brochtrup, Ohio; Barb (Dwight) Hogan, IL; Dan (Lori) Bethke a nd Jean Broehm, all of Kaukauna; 17 grandchildren, two great-grandchildre n, a sister, Loretta Fritsch, Wrightstown; and a brother, Peter (Clara) Be thke, Greenleaf. Bernard was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Haro ld and a brother, Delbert. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, Febr uary 19, at 4 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. T om Long will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends m ay call at the church, 1100 W. Ryan Street in Brillion on Thursday fr om 1 p.m. until the time of mass. The Wieting Funeral Home in Brilli on is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Bernard married Curtis, Roslyn 11 Apr 1953. Roslyn was born 27 Oct 1934; died 6 Apr 2009; was buried , Holy Family (formerly St. Mary's) Catholic Cemetery, Brillion, Wisconsin. [Group Sheet]

    Obituary:
    Dan Bethke, age 44, passed away very unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday morning, November 9, 2010. Dan was born on January 22, 1966, the son of the late Bernard and Roslyn (Curtis) Bethke. He grew up in Calumet County and attended high school in Hilbert. Dan was a proud member of the United States Army and was stationed both in Mainz, Germany and Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during the 1980's. On August 17, 1996, he married the former Lori Arrowood in Menasha. For many years, Dan was employed at Presto Products in Appleton, and was working there until the time of his death. He loved to golf, deer hunt, and play video games. He treasured spending time with family, collecting eagles and the company of his dogs Bella and Hoyt.
    Dan is survived by his loving wife: Lori Bethke of Kaukauna; a son: Dustin Bethke of Kaukauna; four sisters: Sylvia (Bob) Loose of Forest Junction; Sharon Brochtrup of Appleton; Barb (Dwight) Hogan of Illinois; and Jean (Jim) Spietz of Kaukauna; a brother: Dave (Laurie) Bethke of Reedsville; a sister-in-law: Sue (John) Maynard of Neenah; and his mother and father-in-law: James and Marlene Arrowood of Neenah.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, and by a brother Harold.
    A memorial mass for Dan will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish (St. Mary's Church) 119 W. 7th Street in Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment with full military honors will take place in the Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at King at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again Saturday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
