    Obituary:
    Shirley Brooks, age 80, of Menasha, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She was born on June 20, 1934 in Grand Chute to the late Joseph C. and Marie R. (Merkel) Griesbach. Shirley enjoyed crafts, painting, gardening, and shopping. She looked forward to trips to the casino, traveling to The Villages Florida, and going to the fair and rodeo. Shirley was fond of animals and her beloved cat Tom was well taken care of. She loved to watch WWE Wrestling on Monday and Friday nights. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
    Shirley is survived by her children Steven Brooks, Dennis Brooks, Linda (Rollie) Brooks-Robertson, and Laurie (Duane) Vander Heiden; grandchildren Jennifer, Michael, Kevin, and Brian Vander Heiden; brother Marvin (Myrna) Griesbach; and previous spouse Howard Brooks. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her brother Melvin (Audrey) Griesbach, sister Elaine (Isadore) Reis, and her special friend Oscar Rodriguez.
    The funeral service for Shirley will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at WICHMANN FUNERAL HOME TRI-COUNTY CHAPEL with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery in Appleton. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Online condolences can be offered at -
