    Rita Bodde, age 81, of Montello, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2006, surrounded by her family. She was born December 13, 1924, daughter of John and Henrietta "Hattie" (Coenen) Pitsch. She was united in marriage to Robert Bodde on February 24, 1942, in Kimberly, he preceded her in death on July 12, 1991. She was a member of the Lioness Club, Ladies Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, St. John's Ladies Aid, Alter Society, St. Ann's Society, Christian Mothers, Volunteer at Montello Care Center, and she started Home Bound Communion Service for St. John's Catholic Church.
    She is survived by her three sons: Gene Bodde, Brillion; Anthony (Kim) Bodde, Armstrong Creek; Kenneth (Pat) Bodde, Kaukauna; three daughters: Karen Bodde, Appleton; Barbara (Gary) Seegers, Freedom; Gloria (Dave) Faccio, Montello; 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three sisters: Marie (George) Verkuilen, Oneida; Martha DeCleene, Lena; Agnes Johnson, Westfield; a brother, Ray Pitsch, Kimberly; two sisters-in-law: Mary Wallace, Kaukauna; Rita VanLinn, Black Creek; brother-in-law, Charles (Frieda) Bodde, Kaukauna; nieces, nephews, others relatives and dear friends.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert; sister, Ileta (Robert Janz) (Charles) Swinton; six brothers-in-law: Virgil (Betty) Bodde, John "Jack" Bodde, Ken Wallace, Bill VanLinn, Joseph DeCleene, Sheridan Johnson, sister-in-law, Beatrice Pitsch.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Father Richard Lesniak officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at the Steinhaus-Wachholz Funeral Home in Montello. Friends and family may also visit at the CHURCH on Thursday, at 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Montello. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated.
    The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Theda Care Hospice, Dr. Williams and his staff for their excellent care of Rita.

    Tews, Lorraine C. Pitsch Tews, of Neenah, Age 74, died Saturday, June 15, 2002, at Theda Clark Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1927 in Fond du Lac, daughter of Peter and Cecelia (Pritzl) Pitsch. Lorraine married George E. Tews, June 21, 1947, in Neenah. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Neenah. She had many hobbies, including reading, sewing, painting, fishing and gardening. Lorraine is survived by her husband, George; her daughter Linda (Michael) Van Lieshout, Neenah; two brothers; Arthur (Judy) Pitsch, Oshkosh; Donald (Debbie) Hilbert; three sisters, Rose Schafer Ertl, Germain (Tom) Jape, Donna (Duane) Westfahl, all of Neenah; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Tews was preceded in death by her parents; a granddaughter, Sherri Van Lieshout; two sisters, Pauline Remme and Sister Joan Pitsch; two brothers, Kenneth and Dennis Pitsch. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at St. Gabriel Church with Rev. Richard Allen officiating. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery, Neenah. She w as born to George Pitsch and Cecelia Coenen on February 19, 1922, in Green leaf and grew up in Wrightstown, WI. During World War II, Loretta work ed in Milwaukee in the paint department of A.O. Smith, masking the portio ns of military bomber aircraft components, which were to be protected in t he painting process. She began writing to Joseph Myrechuck during World W ar II. After the war Loretta and Joe became close and on February 16, 194 6, they were married at St. Louis Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. In 195 9, Loretta was employed by Wells Manufacturing and worked there until s he retired in 1984. On April 9, 1991, after forty-five wonderful yea rs of marriage, Joe passed away due to a heart attack suffered while recup erating from prostate surgery. She continued to live independently for twe lve years. Loretta recently has been living with her daughter, Joanne in B eaver Dam.She was the loving mother of Joanne (Marc) Kuklinski and John (Deborah) My rechuck; grandmother to Angela and Jay Myrechuck; sister of the late Glad ys (Donald) Stearns, who passed away November 1, 1988; aunt of James R.     Neenah - Diane M. Jacobson, age 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12, 2018 surrounded by her family, worshipping Jesus up until her last moments. She was in love with her Daddy God and wanted everyone to learn that they could KNOW Him.
    Her loves here on earth were God, her family, her children, her grandchildren and mission work. She was a servant at heart and desired to help anyone in need. She found deep purpose in the mission field. It's where she found great joy and made so many lifelong friends. She's now moved onto a new mission. In her time here on earth, her heart's desire was to show the world who Jesus really is and that her children walk in this legacy. She was a warrior and prayed for most of you daily who are reading this today. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh will be heard in everyone's spirit forever. She was a Mom to so many and true friend to all that knew her.

    Dorothy Mae Moss,"Dot Pitsch", 66, of Darboy has joined the angels in heaven on Sunday, September 22, 2013 after a courageous battle with bladder and colon cancer, fighting to the end with her family by her side.
    She was born on January 1, 1947 in Appleton to Raymond J. and Beatrice (Simon) Pitsch.
    Dot leaves behind the love of her life her husband Lynn Moss. They were married Friday, November 13, 1970. It wasn't unlucky for them. Their love for each other was unique. They loved spending time together and inseparable till the end.
    She also leaves behind a beloved daughter Brenda (Gary) Anderson, Kimberly. Dot adored spending time with her grandchildren, Josh Anderson (fiancé Sara Hanstad) Kaukauna; Jason (Evelyn) Anderson, Menasha; Amber Anderson (the apple of Gramma's eye, her pumpkin)and her great grandchild, Savanna Anderson (her Emma with a thumb).
    Dot has one brother, Raymond P. (Betty) Pitsch, step-mother Rosemary (Court) Pitsch, three sisters-in-law; Donna (Robert) Noffke, Amherst; Mary Moss, Wrightstown; Sheila (Kelly) Prochnow, New London; four brothers-in-law; Gerald Moss, Wrightstown; Dennis Moss, Washington; Alan (Diane) Moss, California; Robert (Patricia) Moss, several nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, two aunts; Martha DeCleene and Agnes Johnson, and a longtime friend of the family and "adopted daughter" Kim Leech.
    Once a month she had a luncheon with her girlfriends from Kimberly High School class of '65. She will be missed by all.
    Dot and Lynn went on several adventures thru their marriage. One of them included "The Runaway Bar" on Hwy 96 which opened in 1984. Thru the three years there they met a lot of great friends. Then in 1987 they opened the 2 plus 2 in Kimberly. After closing the bar, Dot along with her daughter Brenda then opened "Floral Fantasies". They designed silk floral arrangements from weddings to in home consults and businesses. It was operated for over 20 years. She enjoyed going to events of her granddaughter Amber, things from school functions to her dancing. Dot loved to care for people, she would help someone unselfishly. She was a great cook.
    Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Beatrice (Simon) Pitsch, grandparents; John and Hattie (Coonen) Pitsch, Paul and Anna (Roeder) Simon, a sister Judy Pitsch, aunts; Marie (George) Verkuilen, Ileta (Charles) Swinton, Rita (Robert) Bodde, Bernice (Lester) Lopas, Mary (Gilbert) Brockman, uncles; Sheridan Johnson, Joseph DeCleene, Paul (Marion) Simon, father and mother-in-law; Malcolm and Hilda (Brunner) Moss, two nephews; Richard Moss and Clinton Jezeski and a great niece Erin Hill.
    The funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 12:00 PM at HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave. with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Interment will be in the Holy Name Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
    We would like to thank Appleton Medical Center - 7th, 6th, and 5th and the ICU staff, Dr Joyce Bauer; Dr Beth Krieger; New London Hospital Swing bed staff; and Theda Care Hospice. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established. Online condolences may be expressed at www.wichmannfargo.com.
    Dear Mom, with saddened heart I had to let go of my dear friend. Even though you aren't here you will never be forgotten. Thank you for all your guidance and wisdom. I love you Mom.

    Karen M. Bodde, 69, of Appleton, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, October 9, 2014. Karen was born in Appleton on October 11, 1944, to the late Robert and Rita (Pitsch) Bodde.
    Karen was both a resident and proud treasurer of John Fischer Manor. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, writing, watching T.V., and ice cream. Karen also delighted in spending time with her grandchildren.
    Karen is survived by her daughters; Sheila (Greg) Shackle, Sara MacDonald, and Serena Lila; grandchildren; Macy and Noelle Shackle; Toby, Chloe, and Alex MacDonald; and Isaiah Throm, Kylah Hoeck, and Tristan Lila; and siblings; Gene Bodde, Barbara (Gary) Seegers, Gloria (Dave) Faccio, Tony (Kim) Bodde, and Ken (Pat) Bodde. She is preceded in death by her parents.
    A Memorial Vigil celebrating Karen's life will be held at 5:45PM on Monday, October 13, 2014, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., with Fr. Brian Wideman officiating. A gathering of friends and family will be held from 4:00PM, until the time of vigil, at the funeral home.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (pancan.org) are appreciated.
    The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the ladies at John Fischer Manor for their friendship and support.
