    Obituary:
    Robert Zwiers, 80, Kimberly, was welcomed by his loving wife, "Corky", as he entered into Heaven Friday, Feb. 17, 2012. He was born Oct. 30, 1931, to the late Arnold and Marie (Franz) Zwiers. Bob married the love of his life, Corrine "Corky" Bethke, on Jan. 14, 1955, in Michigan, and she preceded him in death.
    Bob was a member of the United States Marine Corps., having served in the Korean War. Bob was employed as a millwright at Thilmany Paper for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed duck hunting and pheasant hunting, but his greatest pleasure in life was spending time with his family, especially his cherished grandchildren.
    Bob is survived by his five children, Chris (Ron) Thoma, Mike (Kim) Zwiers, Rob (special friend, Marie Haring) Zwiers, Karen (Ed) Janssen, Jenny Voss; grandchildren, Marie, Amanda, Ben (Katie), Samantha (Tyler), Claire, Coley, Matthew, Claudia, and Ayden; two great-grandchildren, with one on the way; sisters, Nadine Verhagen, Pam (Don) Romenesko, Linda (Don) Opsteen; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Bethke and Linda Zwiers; many other special relatives and friends.
    Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Corky; siblings, Zada (Jim) Siebers and Vance Zwiers; and brother-in-law, Jerry Verhagen.
    Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2012, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, 101 Canal St., Little Chute, with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
    A memorial has been established in Bob's name.
    Bob's family wishes to thank the VA Clinic, Theda Care at Home Hospice, and Dr. Travis Kroner and his staff for their loving care and compassion.
