    Mabel (Hockers) Seifert, 95, formerly of De Pere and Long Lake, Wis., went peacefully to join her husband Sidney on Dec. 15, 2007.
    She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Ron) Albers, Long Lake; a son, Richard (Cheri) Seifert, Manitowoc, Wis.; grandchildren, James (Amy) Albers, Jodi (Dave) Zambrowicz, Sarah Seifert, Daniel Seifert; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Kristen Zambrowicz, Brooke, Michael, Josh, and Taylor Albers, Kole Seifert; and one great-great-grandchild, Caden Albers. She is also survived by sisters, Angie Rukamp, Evelyn Geurts, Helen Haese; one brother, Earl (Jill) Hockers; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Margaret DeGrave and Mrs. Gordon Gille Sr.; many nieces and nephews.
    There will be no funeral, a memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
    The family would like to thank all of Mabel's caregivers at Iron County Medical Care Facility, Crystal Falls, Mich., where she resided for the past three years.
    The Jacobs-Lundholm Funeral Home, Florence, Wis., is serving the family.

    Evelyn Elizabeth Geurts age 97 of Mountain passed away at Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay on Saturday, August 29, 2015. She was born on April 3, 1918 to the late Louis and Ida (Henrigillis) Hockers. Evelyn Hockers married George Geurts on October 26, 1937 at St. Mary Catholic Church in De Pere and George preceded her in death in 1992. Evelyn lived in De Pere for 55 years and had a cottage by Green Lake which later became their residence. She loved to fish the Oconto River and playing Cribbage Tournaments with George and she enjoyed walking every morning 3 miles to Bagley Rapids for over 30 years. She was also an Artist, painting water colors, crocheting, making afghans, doilies, ceramics, knitting slippers and bowling. She was an avid reader and loved to travel. She is a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church Chapel, The Hobbiettes, Monday Morning Ceramics on Pia Lake, the VFW Auxiliary, Slick Chicks, and her favorite was The Tuesday Girls.
    Evelyn is survived by 6 daughters, Joyce (David) Catalano, Elaine (Marvin) Konrath, Linda (Carl) Rogers, Suzanne (Tom) Englebert, Kathy (Jim) Baeten and Barbara (Lyle) Merril; 2 sons, David (Eileen) Geurts and Peter (Ardis) Geurts; a sister, Helen (Al) Haese; 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, George; a daughter, Patricia Geurts; a brother, Earl (Jill) Hockers; 5 sisters, Mabel (Syd) Siefert, Lucy (Kenny) Carufel, Angie (Harold) Rukamp, Ethel (Bill) Bos and Laonna Hockers; 2 grandsons, Matthew Geurts and Michael Rogers
    Visitation will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church Chapel at Chute Lake on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 9 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am with Father Dean Dombroski and Sister Marla Clercx officiating. Evelyn will be interred in Mountain Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring is assisting the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.gruetzmacherfuneralhome.com.

    Helen M. Haese, 91, Greenleaf, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017. The daughter of the late Louis and Ida (Henrigillis) Hockers was born May 14, 1926. She married Alfred "Al" Haese on February 8, 1947 at St. Mary Catholic Church, De Pere. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Askeaton. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary, which she proudly engaged her girls to be part of as well. In addition to her many years in bowling and later perfecting her golf swing, Helen loved watching sports whether it was Legion baseball, her kids, grandkids or even great grandchildren, she traveled across the country to cheer on her favorite teams and players; the same rang true for music or theater performances, there were very few that she missed. Helen never let a stomach go hungry; she spent countless hours in the kitchen cooking delicious meals and welcomed all to her table. She was an avid canner, baker and Christmas candy maker. Helen was a second mother and grandmother to many. For as long as she was able, Helen made sure her grandkids knew how to dance the Polka.
    Survivors include her children: Richard Haese, West Bend; Mary Lawrence, Appleton; Carl (Carol) Haese, Wrightstown; Jane Thomas, Menasha; Bill (Deb) Haese, Jackson; David (Mary) Haese, Greenleaf; Jim (Esther) Haese, Green Bay; Dan (Kim) Haese, Wrightstown; Dale Haese, Greenleaf; grandchildren: Amie Ham, Brian (Kim) Haese, Chuck (Jenny) Haese, Sara Hanaway, Jason (Stacy) Hanaway, Kevin Hanaway and fiancé Sarah, Cory (Nicole) Haese, Chris (Joy) Haese, Craig (Katie) Haese, Holly (Bobby) Lewis, Dawn Thomas, Angela (Ryan) Sherman, Jacob (Kate) Thomas, Michelle (Jim) Bruvold, Theresa Suardini, Alex Haese, Andrew Haese, Juliana (Keith) Lambie, Sarai Haese, Aaron Meulemans, Tyler (Julie) Meulemans; 28 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Donald (Jean) Haese, Appleton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia worked at Bilotti's Pizza Garden in De Pere for 20 yea rs prior to working for Biebel's Catering for 16 years as their 1st catere r. She enjoyed singing, especially in the Cathedral choir, and was a memb er of the Daughters of Isabella. Patricia also enjoyed counted cross stitc hing, was an avid cribbage player, enjoyed baking, time spent at Green La ke cottage and golfing even in the winter when she would use her orange go lf balls.
