    Melvin G. Brockman, age 80, of Crandon, WI, formerly of Kimberly, WI, died at his home on March 13, 2004. Melvin was born on July 3, 1923 to the late Arthur and Agnes (Timmers) Brockman. On March 2, 1946 he was united in marriage to Amelia Andrews. He worked for the former Kimberly-Clark Corp and Hofkens Construction. He has been frequenting the Crandon area for over 31 years when he had bought the property on County Park Rd. and where he moved permanently in 1985. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all. After his retirement his joy was to work in his woodshop.
    He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Crandon.
    He is survived by his wife Amelia; a son, Randall (Nancy) Brockman, Port St. Joe, Florida; a brother, Gerald (Regina) Brockman; a sister, Elaine (Peter) Hofacker; a brother-in-law, George (Audrey) Andrews; four grandchildren: Jeremy, Chris, Heather and Amelia; two great-grandchildren, Tobyn and Tipton.
    The visitation is Tuesday, March 16, at the Suminski Funeral Home, Crandon, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with a parish wake service at 7 p.m. and on Wednesday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. The Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Fr. Ralph Gillis officiating. Interment is at Lakeside Cemetery, Crandon.
    The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to Dr. Henry and Dr. Cheema and the staff and nurses at Ministry Health Care and Hospice for their compassionate care of Melvin.

    Gerald Brockman, age 88, of Kimberly, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 surrounded by his family. He was born on July 22, 1924, in Kimberly, the son of the late Arthur and Agnes (Timmers) Brockman. Jerry served his country in the U.S. Army with the 15th Calvary during WWII. On February 23, 1952, he married Regina Benser at Holy Name Church in Kimberly. Jerry worked at the Kimberly Mill for 44 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Holy Spirit Parish, the William Verhagen Post 60 of the American Legion in Kimberly, and a Boy Scout Leader. Jerry enjoyed fishing, crossword puzzles, and was an avid Packer fan.
    Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Regina Brockman; sons: Steve (Deb) Brockman and Michael (Susan) Brockman; seven grandchildren: Travis (Amanda), Cole (Kimberly), and Dylan (fiancé Nicole) Brockman; Jared (Nicole), Ryan (fiancé Sarah), Brett (girlfriend Megan), and Alissa Brockman; sisters-in-law: Judy Brockman and Helen Brockman. He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine (Pete) Hofacker; brothers: Melvin Brockman and Gord Brockman; and an infant brother, Arthur, Jr.
    The funeral liturgy for Gerald will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Holy Spirit/Holy Name Church, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly. Father David Beaudry will be officiating. Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in Appleton. A time of visitation will be held on Thursday at the Jansen Fargo Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until the prayer service at 7:00 p.m., and again at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. Online condolences can be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com.

    Elaine M. Hofacker, age 84, of Little Chute, passed away Wednesday morning, August 19, 2009, at St. Paul Home. Elaine was born in Kimberly, on July 1, 1925 to the late Arthur and Agnes (Timmers) Brockman. She was a graduate from Kimberly High School, class of 1943.
    On June 12, 1947, Elaine was united in marriage to Peter J. Hofacker at Holy Name of Jesus, Kimberly. They spent 62 wonderful years together. Elaine was an avid traveler with her husband, children, and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Oconto County.
    She spent endless hours in the garden, tending to her flowers, her favorite being red roses. Elaine truly had a "green thumb". She loved reading and working on puzzles.
    For many years she was an active member of the Christian Mothers of Holy Name Parish, Kimberly. As a full-time homemaker, she devoted her time to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her husband, Peter, Elaine is survived by her four daughters: Diane (Bruce) Boykin, Sharon (Dennis) Rassel, Laura (Rick) Vanden Wyngaard, and Rita (Brad) Hietpas; three sons: Allen, Paul (Sharyn), and James "Stretch" Hofacker; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Gerald (Regina) Brockman; a sister-in-law, Helen Brockman; and many other family and friends.
    Elaine was preceded in death by her infant son, Stephen Peter Hofacker; a great-grandson: Luke Hietpas; and two brothers: Melvin and Gordon Brockman.
    A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 12 noon, Friday, August 21, 2009, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH, 600 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly. Fr. David Funk will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Elaine's name.
    Elaine's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff, caregivers, and hospice at St. Paul Home for all their wonderful care and support.
