    Obituary:
    Eunice Ertl, Little Chute, 89, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born May 20, 1925, in Little Chute, daughter of William and Anna (Evers) DeBruin. Eunice married Cletus J. Ertl, February 19, 1944, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church and he preceded her in death July 23, 2011. She was a member of the Christian Mothers, the Card Club and Mission Club. Eunice was a homemaker all her life raising seven children. She enjoyed making homemade bread and bakery items and doing crossword puzzles. She prayed the Rosary daily and listened to Relevant Radio every morning.
    Eunice is survived by five daughters: Arlene (Dan) Merkel, Elm Grove; Jane (Don) Polinski, Waukesha; Susan (Dave) Laha, Appleton; Rose (Vincent) Lamers, Little Chute and Carol (Trevor) Frank, Menasha; grandchildren: Andy Merkel, Jesse (Kenda) Brunette, Vicki (Shauywn) Smith, Mark (Danielle) Polinski, Brooke (special friend, Hank Pace) and Nick Laha; Vance, Cole and Logan Lamers; Tracee (Mike) Cole and Brian Ertl; great grandchildren: Tylor, Brennan, Leah, Hannah, Natalie and Henry; Cletus' siblings: Wilbur Ertl, Donald (Dorothy) Ertl and Lois (Donald) Thiel; sisters-in-law: Connie and Margaret DeBruin; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends including special friend, Elaine VandenBerg.
    She was also preceded in death by her parents; her sons: Anthony and William; her siblings: Della, Dorothy, Betty, Richard, Grace, Donald and Florence and also Cletus's sister, Joan (Donald) Sielaf.
    Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014, at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, 323 S. Pine Street, Little Chute with Msgr. James Vanden Hogen officiating. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sherwood. Visitation will be at the church from 3:00 p.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hallmark Place for making her last years very fulfilling and to the staff at St. Elizabeth Hospital for their wonderful care.
    WE WILL MISS YOU DEARLY MOM… WE LOVE YOU ALWAYS.

    Munes, Florence M. "Bubbie" - Florence Munes, of Kaukauna, age 76 years, died on Thursday, December 27, 2007, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. She was born June 10, 1931, in Little Chute, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Evers) DeBruin. Florence enjoyed rock-n-roll, crossword puzzles, reading and loved being with her family.
    She is survived by her sons: Dave (friend Sandy) Munes, Dan (Tracy) Munes and Bill (Jackie) Munes; her daughter: Debbie (friend Jay) Wiegert; grandchildren: Kelly, Amy, Jacob, Eric, Amber, Ashley and Sara; great-grandchildren: Alivia, Collyn and Gracy; sister: Eunice (Cletus) Ertl. Florence is further survived by her niece and special friend, Rosalie Natrop, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene, son Donald Munes and many brothers and sisters.
    The funeral liturgy for Florence will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL - ST. MARY SITE, 119 W. Seventh St., Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Burial will take place at the parish cemetery. Visitation at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.

    Valorie A. Paul, 68, Ashwaubenon resident, died peacefully on Friday morning, Nov. 18, 2011, after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on May 1, 1943, in Appleton, to the late Carl and Della (DeBruin) Gast.
    Valorie was a 1960 graduate of Seymour High School. On June 4, 1960, she married Robert Paul at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Green Bay. She was a homemaker until her children were older and then worked at a laundry service until her retirement. Valorie loved to travel, enjoyed going to the casino to play the slot machines and was an avid Packers fan. She also made various types of greeting cards in her spare time. Valorie was all about having a good time and enjoyed life. No matter who you were, she wanted to make you feel special. Valorie also had a very positive outlook on life and always saw the good in people. She was a long-time member of Nativity Parish.
    She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert; children, Leanne (Kurt) Burton, Erik (Tricia) Paul, Leslie Hoffmann; grandchildren, Kayla, Bryce, Mason, Hunter; sister, Shirley Yonke, and her daughter, April; five brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Paul.
    Friends may call at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason St., on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Parish wake service 7:30 p.m. Monday. Visitation will continue at Nativity of Our Lord Parish, 2270 S. Oneida St., on Tuesday after 10 a.m. until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church with the Rev.
