    Obituary:
    Carol Jean Braun (DeBruin) of Neenah age 75 passed away after a very brief illness on Wednesday May 20th, 2015. Carol was born October 6th, 1939, in Kimberly, the daughter of the late Edward and Eleanor (Tullberg) DeBruin. Carol graduated from Kimberly High School. She married Wesley Braun on May 7th, 1960.
    She started her career with Eisele Engineering, but her work with the Goodwill family was so important to her and a huge part of her life since 1976. Carol also enjoyed working part-time at the Neenah Public Library. She was always putting everyone else first. Gratitude, graciousness, giving, love and caring were her life. She was the center of our family, always making sure everyone was taken care of and well fed! Carol believed in celebrating all of the special occasions of life and always made it look effortless. She loved her independence, always gave her opinion and had great insight. Carol was spunky and loving to the end. Her strength was immeasurable. Many lives were influenced in a positive way because of who she was and the struggles she went through.
    Survivors include four children: Gregory (Jennifer) Braun, Tina (David) Palmer, Jeffrey (Julie) Braun and Sheila Kelley; ten grandchildren: Shane, Trent, Nathan, Nickolas Braun, Caleb and Analysse Palmer, Blair and Hannah Braun, Megan and Matthew Kelley; three great-grandchildren: Courtney, McKenzie and Amara; one sister, Yvonne (Paul) VanLandghen; and three sister in-laws, Nancy Thurow, Faye Peterson and Anita Tittel. Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Wesley Braun, and a brother, Jerome DeBruin.
    A memorial service for Carol will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday May 26, 2015, at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. The Rev. Martin Ruge will officiate. The visitation will be held Tuesday from 3:00 PM until the hour of service. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in her name.

    Obituary:
    Jerome E. De Bruin, Appleton, age 68, died Saturday, November 22, 2008, at home. He was born in Little Chute on October 20, 1940, to the late Edward and Eleanor (Tullberg) De Bruin. Jerome had a great passion for travel and owned Foremost Travel of Chicago for over 20 years as well as a Christmas shop, Noel, in Palm Springs. He lived life to the fullest and was very independent. His passion for life and people was evident to anyone who knew him. He also volunteered at area homeless shelters. Jerome was employed at Younkers until illness forced his retirement.
    Jerome is survived by his sisters, Carol (Wesley) Braun of Neenah and Yvonne (Paul) Van Landghen of Kimberly; his special aunt, Marcella Van Zeeland; and nephews and nieces: Gregory (Jennifer) and Jeffrey (Julie) Braun, Sheila Kelley, Tina (David) Palmer, Richard (Amy), John and Kenneth (Terri) Van Landghen.
    He was preceded in death by his business partner and long time friend Bruce Nelson.A private family service will be held at a later date.

    Born on 2-22-57 and passed away peacefully while jamming out to his favorite music on 5-18-16. His son Ryan Derks and girlfriend Stephanie Feavel were taking care of him at home while he battled stage 4 prostate cancer. Would like to thank friends Derrick and May for their help. John worked at Kimberly Mill and Eggers Industries. He enjoyed fishing, four wheeling, riding his Harley and hanging out with his 7 german shepherds.
    Mother Yvonne Van Landghen, father Paul Van Landghen (deceased), brothers Richard and Kenneth, sister-in-law Amy, many nephews, aunts and uncles.
    Celebration of John's life will be held at Ryan and Stephanie's farm on Sat, June 4th at 2:00 PM.
    He will be missed.
