    Obituary:
    Donald J. Riggles, age 94 of Hortonville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 12, 2015, at Rennes Health and Rehab in Appleton. He was born on July 17, 1921, in Los Angeles, California, son of the late John and Wilma (Otto) Riggles. On January 18, 1947, Donald married Beatrice Monn in Appleton. She preceded him in death on April 1, 2004. Donald was extremely proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps. He served his country in the South Pacific during WWII from February 1942 until the time of his honorable discharge in September of 1945. While serving he fought in the battles of Guadalcanal, Tarawa, and Saipan. Donald worked at Tuttle Press in Appleton for 36 years until his retirement.
    Donald is survived by his sons: Terry (Georgia) Riggles, Appleton; David (Rebecca) Riggles, Crivitz; Randall (Karen) Riggles, Appleton; grandchildren: Lance (Nicole) Riggles; Michael (Amy) Riggles; Dante Kester; Travis Riggles and Shaun Riggles; great-grandchildren: Whitney, Kassandra, Noah, Kaitlyn and Garet. He is further survived by other relatives and friends, especially those at Pine View Apartments in Hortonville.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beatrice; and sister, Beverly Riggles Konkle.
    Funeral services for Don will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015, at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville, with Greg Layton officiating. Family and friends are welcomed to visit at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. American Legion Post 55 will conduct military honors. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Stephensville.
    The family would like to thank AseraCare Hospice, especially Tammy Fox RN, and all the staff and volunteers at Rennes Health and Rehab for all of their exceptional, tender loving care.

    Donald married Monn, Beatrice Ellie 18 Jan 1947, Appleton, Outagamie, Wisconsin, USA. Beatrice died 1 Apr 2004. [Group Sheet]
