    JOHN WILZ John Wllz, 72, a retired farmer of the town of Menasha, died Friday morning at his home on Third-st. Menasha, after a 10-weeks illness. He was born in Pennsylvania and came to the Fox river valley at an early age. He is survived by his widow, two sons adopted daughter, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. The sons are George J. Wilz, who resides on the old homestead, and Hubbard of Ladysmith, and the daughter, Mrs. Charles Porsch of the town of Harrison. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Monday morning -from St. Mary church, Menasha.

    Obituary:
    TOWN OF MENASHA CLERK IS STRICKEN deorge C. Wilz Passes Away at His Home Suddenly. Funeral Wednesday Menasha - A heart attack suffered early in the afternoon resulted at 4:50 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the death of George G. Wilz, at his home on Route 1, Menasha. Apparently in good health, Mr. Wilz had performed his usual duties Saturday morning, but complained of feeling ill shortly after noon. He was ordered to bed by his physician, but was able to be up just before passing away. He was born in the town of Harrison, Nov. 21, 1874. He was a resident of this vicinity all his life and operated a truck and dairy farm for many years on the old Manitowoc road. For the last 10 years he had been engaged in the insurance business. He had served as clerk of school district, No. 3, for 30 years and was assessor of the town of Menasha for 25 years. At the time of his death he held the office of clerk of the town of Menasha. Mr. Wilz was a member of St. Joseph's and the Holy Name societies and of the Catholic Order of Foresters of St. Mary's parish in Menasha. Survivors are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Slade, Felix, Ariz., four sons, Frank Wilz, Dickerson, N. D.; Andrew, Simon and Herbert Wilz, Route 1, Menasha; one brother, Hubert Wilz, Ladysmith; one sister, Mrs. Charles Porsche, Birnamwood, and 13 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the residence and at 9 o'clock at St. Mary's Catholic church with the Rev. Msgr. John Hummel officiating. Burial will be in St. Marys cemetery. Friends may call at the residence to the time of the services.

    Obituary:
    Age 67, passed away 11:50 p.m. Friday, April 7, following a six month illness. He was born February 16, 1900 in the Town of Menasha. Mr. Wilz was a resident of the Town of Menasha before moving to Neenah eight years ago. He was employed at Fox River Paper Company for 15 years before going into the insurance business. He was Town Chairman and Supervisor in the Town of Menasha for a number of years. He was a charter member of the Town of Menasha Fire Dept. Mr. Wilz was a member of the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society of the church.
    He is survived by his wife, Elda; two sons, Richard, Banbury Oxfordshire, England, Lloyd, Valders; one brother, Herbert, Menasha; one sister, Mrs. Caroline Slade, Phoenix; four grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Kessler Funeral Home and at 9:30 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Margaret Cemetery. Rev. Leo H. Ott, pastor, officiating. Friends may call at the Kessler Funeral Home after 4:00 p.m. Monday where a prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.

    Wilz, James H. "Big Jim" age 84, passed away on May 27, 2013 at Crestwood Senior Living, Menasha. He was born on April 11, 1929, in Appleton, the son of the late Herbert and Helen (Dennee) Wilz. Jim graduated from St. Mary High School and furthered his education at St. John College. Jim was a life-long mason and worked for several construction companies in the Fox Valley area. He loved hunting especially bear hunting and driving his truck.
    Jim is survived by five children: Denise (Greg) Cross of Neenah, Joseph R. (Brenda) Wilz of New London, Ted Wilz of Gilman, Jennifer (Mike) OPay of Menasha and Lisa Lykins of Bettendorf, Iowa; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one sister, Nellie (Art) Reiland of Parker, Colorado; and special friend, Luci Edwards; he is further survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends. Jim is preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Reich, two grandchildren: Angela and Brian, one brother, Bill Wilz and one sister, Ann (Bud) Vargo.
    Memorial Service for Jim will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 473 Seventh Street, with Pastor Catherine A. Mode officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

    Hubert W. Porsche "Hub" Larsen, age 88, passed away early Friday morning, March 23, 2007, at his home. Hub was born December 15, 1918, in the town of Harrison, the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (McDougall) Porsche. He married Ilene (Johnson) Porsche and then Florence (Resch) Porsche, who both preceded him in death. Hub served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had been employed for 45 years at American Can Company/James River until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting when he was younger, going to the casino and after retiring he bartended. Hub liked to go to breakfast at Frank and Darlene's.
    Hub is survived by his daughters: Kathy Gallow, Menasha, Paula (Steve) Basler, Larsen, and Mary (Steve Taylor) Porsche, Columbia, Tennessee; seven grandchildren: Lisa Bayer, Todd (fiancee Michelle) Broeske, Amy (Robb) Bennett, Angela Gallow, Kayla (Howard) Johannes, Ashley (Taylor Kuehl) Basler and Lauren Basler, two great-grandchildren: Rex Bayer, Connor Bennett and one on the way; a brother, Lawrence (Evelyn) Porsche; a brother-in-law, John (Pat) Resch; and a sister-in-law, Barbara Resch. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Hub was preceded in death by two sons: Charles Porsche and Robert Resch, his sister and brother-in-law Barbara and Joe Brodzinski, a granddaughter Megan Basler, and a sister-in-law, Betty Resch.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Gieger Street, with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Interment will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Menasha.

He was formerly employed by Kimberly-Cl ark Corp. for 26 years retiring in 1976. Earl was united in marriage to Ka therine Smith on January 9, 1946, sharing 43 years together before her dea th in 1989.Earl was a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army.     Clarence Henry Wilz, 96, of Neenah passed away early Friday, October 14, 2016. He was born on May 19, 1920. Clarence married Adeline (Burmeister) on July 10, 1948. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp in England during WWII. Clarence enjoyed living on the lake where he could pursue his love of boating and fishing. He also had a passion for hunting and being outdoors.
    Clarence is survived by his wife of 68 years Adeline Wilz; daughters Lynn (Steve) Polman and Terri Jo (Thomas) Graverson; five grandchildren: Angela Polman (John Cliff), Todd (Christa) Graverson, Nicholas (Jessica) Polman, Troy (Leah) Graverson, and Trisha (Rob) Ruys; eight great-grandchildren; sister Rita Dercks; and sister-in-law Vivian Wilz.
    He was preceded in death by his daughter Kathryn "Kay" Wilz; four sisters: Helen (Charles) Sexton, Marion (William) Van Hoot, Doris (Raymond) Noel, and Gladys (Richard) Gerrits; and two brothers Earl (Catherine) Wilz and Donald Wilz.
    The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Roger Genske for his continued spiritual support.
    The Funeral Mass for Clarence will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at St. Gabriel Parish, 900 Geiger Street, Neenah with Rev. Larry Seidl officiating. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the mass. Full Military Honors will follow the service with the Neenah Menasha Veterans Honor Guard.     Donald J. Wilz, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22, 2010, at home in Appleton. Donald was born in Appleton, on November 6, 1922, son of the late Edward and Katherine (Biese) Wilz. He married Vivian Halloran on July 20, 1942.
    Donald proudly served in the United States Army from 1943 until 1945 in the South Pacific Infantry. He was awarded the Silver Star. After his service, Donald worked for Northern Boiler Works until 1950 and for Kimberly-Clark from 1950 until he retired in 1985. During that time, Donald also worked as a master plumber.
    He loved bowling and the outdoors, especially fishing and camping with his family. Donald was also very proud of his big garden.
    Donald is survived by his wife of 68 years, Vivian; six children, Linda Barna, Appleton; Dick Wilz, Kimberly; Jerry (Janet) Wilz, Greenville, S.C.; Dave (Andrea) Wilz, Appleton; Tom Wilz, Appleton; and Susan (Larry) Kluball, Appleton; nine grandchildren, Laura (Eric) Gilgenbach, Sara (Joe) Charlier, Richard (Jeannine) Wilz, Michelle Wilz, Chad (Tracee) Wilz, Scott Wilz, Lauren Wilz, Drew Wilz and Lisa Bouge; 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson; a sister, Rita Dercks; and a brother, Clarence (Adaline) Wilz.
    He was further preceded in death by three grandchildren, Christie and Craig Wilz and Jenny Topel; four sisters, Helen (Charles) Sexton, Marion (William) Van Hout, Doris (Raymond) Noel and Gladys (Richard) Gerretts; and a brother, Earl (Catherine) Wilz.

    Patricia Ann Brodzinski Green died Thursday, December 9, 2010, at Theda Clark Medical Center surrounded by her family. Patricia was born January 12, 1943, in Menasha, WI to Joseph and Barbara Brodzinski. She fought Parkinson 's disease and in the face of all adversity was strong, positive, and never gave up. She celebrated life every day. Patricia married Robert Green June 29, 1963, and honeymooned in Niagara Falls. She attended St. John's grade school and Menasha High School graduating class of 1961. Patricia began work at Menasha Corporation in 1961 until the birth of her son. She then began her career as a stay at home Mom. She worked at Print & Copy, ran a press for the Buyers Guide, worked for Charles Setter as his assistant in insurance, and worked at Miles Kimbal for a few Christmas seasons. Near the end of her working career she was a travel agent and a receptionist. She was a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for 26 years.
    She was a part of the Red Hatters, Neenah-Menasha 676 Lodge Elks Ladies where she was the secretary. Avid rubber stamper, made her own jewelry, loved her flower gardens. She enjoyed watching the Packers, playing on her computer, and reading. Patricia loved to travel the globe, go camping, and enjoyed visiting Door County. Mrs. Green was an active member of St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. She enjoyed her monthly luncheons of the MHS class of 1961. She had great pride in her children.
    Patricia is survived by her husband, Robert, her two children, Christoper (Heather) Green and Sheri (Tim) Lowney; grandchildren: Chase Hensley, Randi (Shane) Knabenbauer and great-grandaughter Ireland; a brother, Dave (Sharon) Brodzinski and a sister Pam (Jim) Rucci. She is also survived by Ed (Koko) Green, Jim (Sonia) Green, Peter (NaVonne) Green, Bill Green and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
    Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, George and Margaret Green.
    Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2010, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 900 Geiger St., Neenah with Fr. Richard Allen officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Visitation will be at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial St., Neenah, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and at the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the mass. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.

    James P. Wilz, 66 of Appleton, died unexpectedly on Thursday February 28, 2013. He was born in Appleton September 16, 1946, son of the late Earl and Katherine (Smith) Wilz. James married Karen Ellenbecker on April 20, 1985.
    James worked for Appleton Mills/Voith Fabric for 34 years, retiring in 2004. James was an avid bowler. He loved to fish, play cards and games. James was loved by many and he always came up with the best one-liners for a good laugh.
    James is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Karen; a brother, John Wilz (special friend, Kris), Appleton; sister-in-law, Shirley Ellenbecker, Appleton; brother-in-law, John (Mary) Ellenbecker, Appleton; his extended family, Bob and Sue Lee, Appleton, Rich and Debbie Logan, Appleton; and several other relatives and friends. James was further preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie.

    John T. Wilz, 63 of Appleton passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 14, 2013, surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Appleton, February 22, 1950, son of the late, Earl and Katherine (Smith) Wilz. John met his soul mate, Kris Laabs in 1993.
    John worked for Appleton Mills (Voith Fabric) for 38 years, retiring in 2005. He had a love of sports, playing softball and bowling for many years. John was an avid Brewer fan like his father, and had a great love for the Packers.
    John is survived by his soul mate, Kris; three daughters, Ashley (Travis) Dern, Amanda Wilz, and Allison (Joe) Munes; seven grandchildren, Avin, Riley, Zea, Diamond, Nevaeh, Matthew, and Jessica; Kris' children, Andy Johann, Deb (James) King, and Barry Laabs; and his beloved dog, Gracie. John was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Ronnie.
    Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Friday May 17, 2013, at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME with Chaplain Jordan Kuczwara officiating.     Racine - In 1941, Pat came into this world as the second oldest daughter of seven children. Growing up in Kimberly, WI, she was an avid cheerleader at all her high school basketball and football games, twirled baton in the school band and participated in the debate club. She attended St. Norbert's college as one of the first women in her family to pursue an advanced degree, a difficult task for a woman in the 1960's. While obtaining her Bachelor's degree in education, she shared her exuberance for life as a St. Norbert's cheerleader and sorority sister at Delta Zeta, graduating with honors as a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma. After college, Pat began her teaching career in rural Kiln, Mississippi which she later took pride in as the birthplace of her favorite Packer player, Brett Favre. She taught at Holy Name in Kimberly and then went onto to teach for 8 years in Racine, WI where she met her ex-husband Jim Dickert and gave birth to three daughters, Heidi, Heather and Holly. At the age of 41 she went back to school and received her masters in Social work. She was a social worker for 20 years in Racine Unified School District and gave numerous Peacemakers workshops throughout the country. Throughout this time and into her retirement, Pat enjoyed leading international group trips around the world to such places as China, Kenya, Vietnam, Russia, Peru and many more. Leading by her own example, Pat raised her daughters to be strong, independent, ambitious woman with the same passion of helping others as well as traveling the world. In 2004 and 2007, she became a proud grandmother to Ellena and Brayden Moore. Pat was well known by her friends for volunteering at Women Reaching Women, Center for Community Concern, Junior League of Racine, St. Patrick;s Parish, the Racine Theater Guild, and hosting wonderful dinners and parties for various organizations such as the Vagabounds.
    Pat is survived by her three daughters (Heidi Dickert, Heather Dickert, Holly Moore), beloved son-in-law Tom Moore and two grandchildren (Ellena Moore and Brayden Moore). She is also survived by her five siblings and their spouses Joyce (Larry) Casey, Nancy (Joe) Michel, Kathy Heier Hanson, Judi (Dennis) Janssen, and Bill (Julie) VanHout.
    A Mass will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018, 10:30 A.M. at St Mary by the Lake Catholic Church, 7605 Lakeshore Drive, Racine, with Rev. Marty Pable officiating. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 24th from 4-7pm at Maresh-Meredith and Acklam Funeral Home and Saturday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until time of Mass at 10:30 A.M.

    Jenny is survived by her husband Tom; her son, Tyler Wilz, her parents, two brothers: Scott (Tina) Wilz, Kaukauna; Chad (Tracee) Wilz, Appleton. She is further survived by her paternal grandparents, Donald and Vivian Wilz, Appleton and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
    Jenny was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gerald and Elayne Cartwright and her aunt Lynne Salzman.
    Service for Jennifer will be 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home, with Deacon Rick Simon officiating. Her family will receive visitors from 3 p.m. until the time of service, also at Valley Funeral Home. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family will be establishing a memorial fund in Jenny's name.

    Princess Peapod received her heavenly crown on Thursday, May 31, 2012, after a courageous battle against cancer. Laurie Rae was born on January 18, 1966, to James Ray and Barbara (Noel) Coenen. She was an Appleton area resident all her life and currently lived in Menasha. Laurie was employed at Plexus for over twenty years and then worked at Surface Mount Technology until the time of her illness.
    Laurie loved picnics and blowing bubbles, but most of all she loved her family and friends. She will be especially missed by her loving son: Jesse Michael and Kayla (Roe) Hillsberg, New London; her caring mother: Barbara Coenen, Appleton; her brother and good friend: Michael James Coenen, Appleton; her special friend: Daniel McMahon, Menasha; best friends: Angie Greene and her sons; David Schmitting; and Travis Hafemann, "her other son"; aunts and uncles: Carol (Mike) Laux; Joan (Randy) Kiefer; Brian (Sherry) Noel; Donald Coenen; Gerald (Marilyn) Coenen; Roger (Gloria) Coenen; Judy (Richard Eichhorn) Coenen-Eichhorn; and many cousins.
    Laurie was welcomed to Heaven by her father, James Coenen; grandparents: Ray and Ruby Coenen; Ray and Doris Noel; her aunt, Joann Coenen; cousins: Douglas and Steven Coenen.
    The funeral service for Laurie will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday, June 4, 2012 at Wichmann Funeral Home with Fr. William Hoffman officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
    Princess, your smile lit up our lives for 46 years and you will be missed.
