    Vanden Langenberg, L awrence "Larry" H.Lawrence "Larry" H. Vanden Langenberg, 68. On Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, G od called a special man, Larry, to his heavenly home to be reunited with h is parents and infant son, Timothy.He was born Feb. 10, 1937, in Oneida, to Harold (Nupe) and Anna (Van Larho ven) Vanden Langenberg.Larry graduated from Seymour High School in 1955 where he was a memb er of the reserves, after which he enlisted in the United States Navy.On Aug. 22, 1959, he was united in marriage to his high school sweethear t, Alice Matuszak, at St. Sebastian's Parish in Isaar, where he remain ed an active member until he was called to heaven. Larry enjoyed goi ng to the Seymour football and basketball games, watching the Milwaukee Br ewers and Green Bay Packers on T.V. He was a strong supporter of his grand children's endeavors. He loved Christmas, playing cards, campfires and spe nding time with his family, neighbors and friends. Larry loved his God a nd country and lived his life as an example his children and grandchildr en will try hard to follow.Before he suffered a stroke in 1982 and other health conditions, he was em ployed at Bay West Converting. In his earlier years, he was employed at Ba ysinger Lumber Company, West Side Lumber and Calwis.He is survived by his wife, Alice, and their six children, Pamela (Davi d) Bissing, De Pere; Jeffrey (Linda) Vanden Langenberg, Seymour; Dale (Lyn nette) Vanden Langenberg, Pulaski; Kathryn (Jerry) Krull, Nichols; Beth (B rian) Taubel, Pulaski; and Kristine Vanden Langenberg, Seymour; his sixte en grandchildren, Douglas, Eric, Sherri, Joshua, Adam, Timothy, Kevin, Amb er, Kayla, Paige, Derek, Justin, Rachel, Megan, Alyssa and Ethan. He is al so survived by his brothers and sisters: Delores "Lolly" (Lee) Hanstedt, G erald Vanden Langenberg, Harold (Jean) Vanden Langenberg, William "Bill" ( Jo Ann) Vanden Langenberg, Anna Mae (Ralph) Matuszak; numerous nieces, nep hews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.Larry was preceded in death by four brothers-in-law and one sister-in-la w; and also his mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Mary Matusza k.Dad, you fought a good fight. When you told us Saturday morning that you w ere going home to see Jesus, we were glad that your suffering here wou ld be done and that your journey to heaven had begun, but so sad that y ou had to go. We know that the angels were there to take you home and we k now that we will be together again some day.Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2006, at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral H ome in Seymour from 4 to 9 P.M. Visitation will continue Wednesday, Februa ry 1, 2006, at St. Sebastian's Parish in Isaar from 10 A.M. until Ma ss of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. with Father Dave Ashbeck. Burial to foll ow in the church cemetery.A special thank you to his many friends and neig hbors who have been so supportive of dad and our family throughout the yea rs. Also, to Good Shepherd Nursing Home where dad spent the last month a nd to St. Mary's Hospital where he passed away.
