    Louise B. Loehning (Mrs. Gaylord C. Loehning), 102, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 19, 2007, at the Fairhaven Retirement Community in Whitewater, Wis. The former Louise B. Stadler was born on Dec. 30, 1904, to Joseph and Frances Stadler, grew up in Manawa, Wis. and graduated from Oshkosh Business College. Following her marriage in 1933 to Gaylord C. Loehning, a prominent Neenah attorney, she resided in Neenah until recent years when she moved to Whitewater to be near family. She was a longtime member of St. Patrick's Church in Menasha, Wis., a member of Catholic Daughters and a 50+ year member of the Tuesday Club. Known for her graciousness, she enjoyed reading, travel, bridge and entertaining her many friends and family members.
    She is survived by a brother, Charles (Bea) Stadler, Neenah; two daughters, Jane L. Loper (Carl R.), Madison, Wis., Helen M. Rose (Fred A.), Fort Atkinson, Wis.; and a son-in-law, James R. Mellberg, Tryon, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Cynthia (Jeffrey) Koch and Anne Loper; Eric (Gail) Mellberg, Diane (Anthony) King and Laura (Steven) Nessmiller; Kathy (David) Friedman and Cheryl (Matthew) Lind; and six great-grandchildren, Bridget King, Linda and Luke Nessmiller; and Lena, Louisa and Geofrey Friedman.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaylord C. Loehning; a daughter, Gail M. Mellberg, and a granddaughter, Linda Mellberg.
    A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Menasha, Wis. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. preceding services. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Neenah, Wis.
    Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or to Fairhaven Foundation of Whitewater, Wis.

    Brother Bebe "Sylvester" Stadler CSC, 81, of Dujarie House, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday in his residence. He was born Nov. 28, 1911 in Manawa, Wis. He entered the Congregation of Holy Cross on July 1, 1933; made his temporary profession of vows on Aug. 16, 1934; and his final profession vows on Aug. 16, 1937. He is a graduate of Notre Dame and assigned to foreign missions in India; assigned to Holy Cross High School in Bandura; was superintendent of Toomiliah Middle English School in Dacca; taught in Evansville, Ind. and Monroe, Mich. and River Grove, Ill.
    Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Brothers Center Chapel. Burial will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Cemetery at the Brothers Center. Friends may call after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Chapel.

    Charles R. Stadler, Neenah, age 91, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, December 26, 2007. He was born June 30, 1916, in Manawa, son of the late Joseph and Frances (Colling) Stadler. Charles married Bernadette Haas on June 18, 1938, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha. He was employed with Kimberly-Clark for 43 years until his retirement. Charles enjoyed woodworking and furniture restoration after retiring. He was a very loving husband and family man.
    Charles was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Neenah.
    Survivors include three children: Rita (Carl) McKellip, Douglas, WY; Sr. Kathleen Stadler CSFN, Des Plaines, IL; Charles (Sue) Stadler, Monroe, MI; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Dolores Marks, Oshkosh; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Jaime; six brothers and six sisters.
    The Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2007, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, Neenah, with Fr. Michael Ingold officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in St. Margaret's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in his name for Fr. Carr's Place 2 Be.

    Barbara L. Brantmeier, of Appleton, age 52, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006, at her home. Barb was born February 13, 1954, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Russell and LaVerne (Collins) Birkholz. She married Dan Brantmeier on January 13, 1989, in Appleton. She had been employed at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 33 years.
    Barb was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. She enjoyed snowmobiling, motorcycling, musky angling, her friends, the cottage at Three Lakes and especially her golden retrievers, Logan and Connor.
    Barb is survived by her loving husband of nearly 18 years, Dan. She is also survived by her mother, LaVerne Birkholz, Appleton; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Russell and Leone Brantmeier, Menasha; her brothers: Russell (Debbie) Birkholz, Oak Creek; Terry (Debbie) Birkholz, Neenah; her sisters: Dorothy (Eric) Postl, Oshkosh; and Cindy (Steve) Ashley, Montana; and a special godchild Basia Skibba, who was the light of her life.
    Barb was preceded in death by her father, Russell Birkholz.
    Funeral services for Barb will be held on Friday, December 15, 2006, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 528 Second Street, Menasha, with Father Paul Radetski officiating. Friends and family will be received at the Laemmrich Funeral Home, 312 Milwaukee St., Menasha on Thursday evening from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., when a prayer service will be held, and again at the FUNERAL HOME on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when the cortege will process to church for the funeral mass.
    A special thank you to family and friends, especially our friends who are family in Three Lakes, the staff at Martha Siekman Cancer Center, Dr. John Swanson and Theda Care at Home Hospice, and to those who have helped us through this journey.
