    Obituary:
    Wenzel "Whitey" Blazek, age 89, died Monday afternoon, July 9, 2007, at Cherry Meadows in Appleton. Wenzel was born August 10, 1917, in Appleton to Frank and Teresa (Velner) Blazek and lived on a farm until 1941. Wenzel married Pearl Feistel on August 16, 1941, and enjoyed 61 years of marriage before her death in April of 2003. He was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Knights Insurance for over 50 years. Whitey was employed at Appleton Wireworks and retired from Albany International Wireworks. He worked both as a machinist and journeyman. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering in the garage, playing Sheepshead, Polka dancing and spending time with his family.
    Wenzel is survived by his son, Robert Blazek, Appleton; daughter, Nancy (Warren) Dietz, Menasha; a brother George (Dorothy) Blazek; and a sister Gertrude Hermus, both of Appleton. Wenzel is further survived by six grandchildren, Mark (Sue) Dietz, Marcia Dietz, Michael (Michelle) Dietz, Michelle "Shelley" Dietz, Alicia and Adam Blazek; four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie and Morgan Dietz, Kailee Blazek, and Jack Dietz.
    Wenzel is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Pearl and his son, James Blazek; a grandson, Kristopher, brothers and sister-in-law, Frank (Beatrice), Joseph; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa (Walter) Beyer, Mary (Art) Zimmerman, Betty (Frank) Hogan, Ann (Mike) Feistel, and Elmer Hermus.
    Funeral Services for Wenzel will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, July 13, 2007, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 500 W. Marquette St., with Fr. Tom Farrell officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of services. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park.

    Obituary:
    James W. "Jim" Blazek, age 52, passed away Wednesday March 21, 2007, after 9 years of struggling with esopha-geal cancer. He was born on October 22, 1954, the son of Wenzel and Pearl (Feistel) Blazek in Appleton.
    He is survived by his two children: Adam and Alicia and granddaughter Kailee Blazek and their mother, Debi Becken; his father Wenzel; his brother, Bob; his sister, Nancy (Warren) Dietz; special nieces and nephews: Mark (Sue), Mike (Michelle), Marcia, and Shelley Dietz; his former wife, Linda and her children, Brent, Drew, and Nick Bendixen; and many other relatives and friends.
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl; and an infant son, Christopher.
    He was employed at Miller Electric for over 33 years. Jim enjoyed golf in the Misfits League, dance, travel, fishing and spending time at the cottage on Loon Lake. He also really enjoyed bowling and bowled a perfect 300 game. He belonged to bowling leagues for couples, singles, and the Knights of Columbus. He was a coach and coordinator for the Junior Bowling League at Sabre Lanes. Jim also belonged to the Knights of Columbus and was a Past Grand Knight.
    Funeral services for Jim will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at 5 p.m., with Rev. Tom Farrell officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service. A memorial fund is being established.
