Tuchscherer (Tennessen), Ma ry Josephine "I drained every quality minute I could from my body and it was a wonderful, beautiful, incredible life filled with love, learning, adventure and so me mighty challenges." Mary once thought that perhaps God had forgotten he r, but after 94 lively years, He remembered her on May 1, 2004.She was born on March 18, 1910, in Hollandtown to the late Henry and Chris tina (VerVurt) Tennessen. After the loss of both parents she was rais ed in the home of Anton and Elizabeth (Peters) Gerritts.On a bright day, June 24, 1931, she was wed to Edward P. Tuchscherer and w as blessed with two children: Robert L. and Rita C. Tuchscherer.Mary was very proud of her work as a homemaker, as well as a cook at the M enasha Hotel and St. Mary's Menasha Rectory until the age of 75 where s he was also a member.Mary was preceded in this life by her parents, step-parents, husband Edwa rd and daughter Rita. She is lovingly remembered by her Son Robert and dau ghter-in-law Barbara Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI and son-in-law George Looman s, Hilton Head, SC; two sisters-in-law: Mary Tuchscherer, Kaukauna and Mar garet Tuchscherer, Menasha; nine grandchildren: Mary M. Thomas Robert Tuchscherer, 51, was given eternal peace on February 19, 2013, after his hospitalization at MUSC following a one vehicle accident on February 11,2013, in Charleston, SC.
Tom was born on September 2, 1961, in Appleton, WI to Robert and Barbara (Mullen) Tuchscherer. Tom's greatest passion was his family and friends. Tom was a very kind and gentle soul; he had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. He enjoyed creating memories with his wife and their three children and three grand-children; his parents, brother and sisters; neices and nephews and his many friends. He enjoyed working and made many friends over the years at Allis-Chalmers, Great Northern Container Corp. and most recently, Ideal Box & Graphics in Chicago, IL. Tom's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years Roxanne (Drews) Tuchscherer; their three children: Anthony Tuchscherer, Appleton, WI; Jason (Chasney) Diem, Troutman, NC and Savannah Burow, Chicago, IL. Three grand-children: Elyas Tuchscherer, Appleton, WI; Lucas Diem, Troutman, NC and Devin Diem, Troutman, NC. He is further survived by his father Robert Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI; his brother John (Diane) Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI; his two sisters: Ellen Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI and Mary Tuchscherer, Dresser, Wl. Four Neices: Sara (Brad) Schumann, Neenah, WI; Bailey (Devon) Starks, San Antonio, TX; Taylor Drews, Kaukauna, WI and Kristen (Travis) Featherly, Hudson, Wl. Five Nephews: Steven (Jessica) Heinz, Appleton, WI; Sean (Stacy) Heinz, Appleton, WI; Joe (Emily) Feistel, Madison, WI; Jeff (Hannah) Feistel, Appleton, WI; and Andrew Tuchscherer, Menasha, WI. His father- in-law, James Drews, Fremont, WI and brother-in-law Barry (Tricia) Drews, Marenisco, MI. Numerous aunts,
uncles and cousins.
Tom was preceded in death by his mother Barbara(Mullen) Tuchscherer and mother-in-law Beverly (Jarchow) Drews.
Goodbye my love. You were my North, my South, my East and West; I thought that love would last for ever, I was wrong.
