    Hillert Bohl, 87, Appleton, died early Saturday morning at Brewster Village in Appleton. Hillert was born in the Town of Freedom, Feb. 10, 1920, to the late George and Linda (Pingel) Bohl. He was a very avid sports fan and he had worked at the Columbus Club in Appleton for many years. Hillert had also been a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Appleton.
    Hillert is survived by his brother, Gerald (Charlotte) Bohl, Appleton; sister, Delores Muenster, Town of Freedom and his sister-in-law, Gloria Weisshahn, Appleton. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews, Donna Sprister, Terry (Sue) Muenster, Debra (Michael) Goss, Larry (Yvonne) Bohl, Jeff (Cheryl) Bohl, Lori (Mark) Pritzl and special friends, Arlyce Albrecht and Donna and Randy LaBelle.
    Hillert is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lloyd Bohl and brothers-in-law, John Muenster and Cliff Weisshahn.
    Funeral services for Hillert will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 25, 2007, at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with Pastor Mark Henke officiating. A visitation with friends and family will be prior to the service, starting at 10 a.m., also at Valley Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park at a later time.
    The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff in the Gallery at Brewster Village for the tender loving care they gave to Hillert, Thank you.

    Gerald Walter Bohl, age 81, died peacefully on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Brewster Village in Appleton with his family at his side.
    Jerry was born on March 18, 1934 in Appleton, son of the late George and Linda (Pingel) Bohl. Following Jerry's education, he enlisted in the Army and served his country from December of 1956 until December of 1958. He was united in marriage to Charlotte Knaack on April 14, 1956 at St Peter Lutheran Church in the town of Freedom. Jerry was also a life long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. He was employed with the US Postal Service of Appleton as a carrier for over 33 years retiring in 1992. Jerry was an avid Packer and Brewer fan and enjoyed gardening, puzzles and playing cards with family and friends.
    Jerry is survived by his wife of 59 years, Charlotte, and their two children, Jeff (Cheryl) Bohl, and Lori (Mark) Pritzl all of Appleton. Four grandchildren, Nicole (James) Kopp, Kimberly (Nicholas) Huberty, Christopher Bohl and special friend Kelsey, Denver Pritzl and special friend Jessie, a great-granddaughter, Emily Koop, a sister, Delores Muenster, and by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
    Jerry was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd and Hillert Bohl and two brothers-in-law, John Muenster and Wally Knaack.
    The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, N2749 French Road, Appleton with the Rev. Dustin Sievert officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park with full military honors. Gerald's family will receive relatives and friends at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 with the service to follow. A memorial fund is being established for the building fund of the church.
    Jerry's family would like to extend a special thank to the staff on Lawrence Wing, second floor at Brewster Village for the loving and compassionate care of Jerry and his family.

    Sprister, Donna M.
    Donna M. Sprister, age 61, passed away Friday, December 26, 2008, at Brewster Village following a courageous battle with Parkinson's. She was born February 14, 1947, daughter of Delores (Bohl) Muenster and the late John Muenster. On April 15, 1967, she was united in marriage to Ronald Sprister. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2001, after 34 years together. Donna and her late husband owned Sprister Financial in Seymour and Freedom. She was a member of the Community Church in Appleton. Donna was an avid golfer and Packers fan.
    She is survived by her sons: Roy P. Sprister, Freedom; and Rob Sprister (special friend Vicky Randerson); mother, Delores Muenster, Seymour; mother-in-law, Margie Weyenberg, Seymour; brother, Terry (Susan) Muenster, Seymour; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Amy (Gary) Hodkiewicz, Shawano; Lyle Weyenberg, Freedom; Dave (Gail) Weyenberg, Freedom; Mary (Paul) Jochman, Freedom; Cathy (Steve) Simpson, New London; Rick (Ann) Weyenberg, Freedom; nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her fathers-in-law, Roy W. Sprister and Orville Weyenberg.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour, on Monday, December 29, 2008, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, December 30, 2008, at the Community Church of Appleton, 3701 Gillett Street, from 10 a.m. until funeral services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Creamer officiating.
