    Mrs Theodore Pritzl, well known resident of the town of Cato, died at the family home Sunday , after a lingering illness of several months, aged 37 years. Mrs Pritzl was a daughter of Wenzel Miller of Cato Falls and had spent her entire life in Manitowoc county. Beside her husband, she is survived by five children and her father. Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from St Mary's Church at Clarks Mills.

    Harold J (Teen) Pritzl, age 87, of 151 Hoover Street, Whitelaw, died Monday, August 24, 1998, at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 26, 1998 at St Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. Officiating at the Mass Of Christian Burial will be the Rev John Conrad, with burial in St Mary's Church Cemetery. He was born December 23, 1910, in the town of Cato, son of the late Theodore and Mary Miller Pritzl. He attended St Mary School, Clarks MIlls and was a graduate of Wisconsin, Agriculture Course. He married Leona McCulley on July 3, 1943, at St Mary's Church, Clarks Mills. He was a Lifelong resident of Manitowoc County. Harold farmed in the town of Cato and was employed by Bahr Construction until his retirement. He was a charter member o St Mary's Holy Name Society, a charter member of the Clarks Mills Sportsmen Club and a member of the county, state and national Holstein Association. Survivors include his wife, Leona, Whitelaw; two daughters, and one son-in-law, Mary Ann Mayerl, Whitelaw, Margaret (Charles) Szmanda, Westborough, Mass.; three grandchildren, Jeff and Kati Mayerl, Ben Szmanda; one brother, Bernard (Kay) Pritzl, Washington; and two sisters, Gertrude (William) McCulley, Fond Du Lac, Bernadine Schuler, Manitowoc. He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Jerry Mayerl; and a brother, Jerry Pritzl. Friends may call at St Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills, on Wednesday, August 26, 1998 from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. The Christian-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

    Bernadine M Schuler, age 86, a resident of St Nazianz, presently residing at St Mary's Home, Manitowoc, died Monday evening, August 31, 1998 at St Mary's Home. Funeral Services will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, September 3, 1998 at St Gregory's Catholic Church, Nazianz. The Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated by Rev Gerald Sirois. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Bernadine was born February 26, 1912, in th town of Cato, daughter of the late Theodore and Mary Miller Pritzl. On July 5, 1938, she married Arnold Schuler at St Mary's Catholic Church, Clarks Mills. He preceded her in death on June 4, 1997. She and her husband owned and operated the family farm located in rural Valders for many years until their retirement. Bernadine was a member of St Gregory's Catholic Church, St Nazianz, and the Christian Mothers. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Maggie Schuler, Washington State, Chuck and Sharon Schuler, Madison; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Janet and Bill Sheehy, Reedsville, Diane and Hugh Waite, Neenah, Jean Walsh, Whitelaw; one brother and his wife, Bernard and Kay Pritzl, Washington State; one sister and her husband, Gertrude and William McCulley, Fond Du Lac; one sister-in-law Leona Pritzl, Whitelaw; one step-sister-in-law, Daisy Brennan, Manitowoc; 12 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Herbert Schuler, Kiel, Florentine Backhaus, St Nazianz, Petronella Schneider, Manitowoc, Marcella Zyck, Manitowoc, Marion Schuler, St Nazianz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Pritzl of Spokane, Washington, beloved husband and father who will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched, died Tuesday, March 14, 2000, in Indio, Calif, his winter home for many years. He was born March 7, 1915, in Manitowoc, to Ted and Mary Pritzl (Miller). Bernard retired from Kaiser-Mead Works in approx. 1980. He was a Fire/Safety Engineer for Mobil Oil Corp. Ca. 1937 to 1962. He was a veteran of World War II, served as a flight instructor with the 464th Bomb Group as a M/Sgt and was discharged in 1945. Bernard was a member of the Knights of Columbus, BSA and the Teamsters Union. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years at home, Katherine Pritzl; five children, Boni Barta, Spokane, Denise Pritzl, Seattle, Mary Pritzl, Spokane, Patti Pritzl, Phoenix and Dale Pritzl, Spokane; six grandchildren, Cal, Jacob, David and Jared Barta, Jason and Megan Pritzl; a sister, Gertie McCulley of Wisconsin and sisters-in-law, Leona Pritzl, Gertie Vogt, Leona Kuehnl, Ida Kuehnl and Marge Kuehnl of Wi/Mi.
