    Obituary:
    Kosmos Miller, 59, prominent town officer and school director for years at Maple Grove, died early today of a heart ailment at the farm house west of Reedsville. He was stricken ill Thursday afternoon while at work in the garden Funeral services will be held Monday morning from the Brillion Catholic Church. Mr Miller was born at Maple Grove in 1883 (parents: Joseph and Otilla Bauer Miller) and in 1907 married Miss Caroline Pritzl. Fifteen children were born to the couple of whom 14 survive. Mr Miller served as town clerk for 19 years and was clerk of a Maple Grove school distric for many years. He was also secretary of the Rockland Mutual Fire insurance company for years, affiliated as an officer with a state insurance company and a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and Holy Name Society. Survivors are the widow; eight daughters, Mrs Ed Schuh of Maple Grove, Mrs Ray Lang of this city, Mrs Alex Fischer of route 1, Reedsville, Sister LaVerne of Holy Family Convent, Silver Lake, Josephine; Marion, Gertrude and Catherine, all at home; six sons, Lawrence, Vincent, Phillip and Carl of Maple Grove, Norbert, in the U.S. Army, overseas, Kosmos, Jr. of Janesville; brother, John of Brillion; sister Mrs Francis Kleiber of this city.

    Mrs Otillia Schuh, Route 2, Reedsville, age 72, died Thursday evening at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. She was born June 7, 1910 in the town of Maple Grove, the daughter of the late Kosmas and Caroline Pritzl Miller. She was married to Edward Schuh on October 20, 1930 at Holy Trinity Church, Kasson. She was a member of St Anne Christian Mother Society.     Caroline A Lang, age 80, formerly of 610 35th St. Manitowoc, died Tuesday evening, April 27, 1993, at St Paul Nursing Home, Kaukauna, Wis. Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 1, 1993 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at the St Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev Ronald Reimer with burial at the Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. She was born April 10, 1913 at Brillion, Wis, daughter of the late Kosmas and Caroline Pritzl Miller. She married Raymond Lang, April 29, 1935, at Brillion, Wis. He preceded her in death March 28, 1993. Mrs Lang was a member of St Paul Catholic Church and a former member of St Paul Parish Women. The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 1998, at the St Patrick Worship Site in MAPLE GROVE of St Mary-St Patrick Parish. Rev James Massart will officiate. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Marcella was born December 5, 1914, in the Town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late Kosmas and Caroline (Pritzl) Miller. She married Alex Fischer on June 15, 1937 at Kasson Holy Trinity. She farmed with her husband all her life in Town of Maple Grove. She was a member of St Mary / St Patrick Catholic Church in Maple Grove and the St Anne Altar Society. Marcella is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Geraldine and John Leist, Reedsville, and Jacqueline and Donald Kriescher, Kewaunee: five sons and six daughters-in-law; Richard and Helen Fischer, Brillion, Leland and Kathleen Fischer, Whitelaw, Roger and Joann Fischer, Appleton, Wayne and Laura Fischer, Chino Hills, California, William and Denise Fischer, Manitowoc, and Regina Fischer, Brillion; 32 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Josephine Schuh, Sister Cosmas, Marian Hanagan, Gertrude Sadowski, Catherine Baeten; four brothers, Norbert, Kosmas, Philip, and Carl Miller.     Miller, Norbert J. 6523 Oakwood Road, Brillion, Age 85, passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 10, 2001, at North Ridge Medical Center, Manitowoc. Mr. Miller was born October 4, 1916, at Brillion, son of the late Kosmas and Caroline (Pritzl) Miller. He married Gertrude Schumacher (born 26 May 1917) on August 28, 1945 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Brillion. He served in the armed services from April 17, 1941, to September 22, 1945, and is a World War II Veteran. He grew up and farmed in the Township of Maple Grove until his retirement. He was also employed from 1961 to 1978 at the Brillion Iron works. Mr. Miller is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion, the American Legion Post 126 of Brillion and the West Maple Grove Hunting Club. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion, the Rev. Bill O'Brien officiating. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Kasson. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4-9 p.m. on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 9-10 a.m. when family rites will be held. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday evening. Dad had been an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. He also always looked forward to family gatherings where he enjoyed his children and grandchildren, and played sheepshead.     He was the son of Kosmas and Caroline (Pritzl) Miller and was a graduate of Brillion High School. Kosmas was also a 1941 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Agricultural Short Course. He married Helen M. Berner on June 5, 1943, in Janesville. He became the dairy herdsman at the Rock County Farm in 1941, and was employed there until he became a self-employed dairy farmer until his retirement in 1982. Kosmas helped form the Rock County Dairy Herd Improvement Co-op in 1947. Being yearly elected as their secretary/ treasurer until 1982 and because of his retirement in from dairy farming he was forced to retire. He was then hired as an employee to work as their financial secretary part-time so he could enjoy golfing and bowling. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, Victor (Bonnie) Miller of Janesville; 2 daughters, Helen (Charles) Hanauska of Milton, Wisconsin, and Mary Ellen (Dan) Beck of Vonore, Tennessee; 3 grandchildren: Vicki (Dave) Schultz of Neenah, Wisconsin, Lauri (Trent) Brown of Rigby, Idaho, and Derek Hanauska of Geneseo, Illinois; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Sister Kosmas of Slinger, Wisconsin, Marian (Bob) Hanagan of Appleton,Wisconsin and Gertrude Sadowski of Manitowoc, Wisconsin.     Philip Joseph Miller, age 82, passed away on Sat. Aug. 14, 2004 at Cherry Meadows Hospice in Appleton. He was born on March 19, 1922 on the family farm in the Town of Maple Grove, son of the late Kosmas and Caroline (Pritzl) Miller. He graduated from Brillion High School in 1941. On Sept. 25, 1956 he married LaVerne Fogeltanz at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 20, 1985. They farmed on the Miller Homestead until 1968 when they moved to Brillion. Philip worked at Keller Structures until his retirement. He was very active in 4-H as a member and later as a leader. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion.

    Obituary:
    Carl K. Miller died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Friday, October 28, 2005, at age 70. He was born on September 26, 1935 to Kosmas and Caroline (Pritzl) Miller on the home farm in the Town of Maple Grove. He was the youngest of 15 children. He graduated from Brillion High School in 1954 and received an honorable discharge from the National Guard. He married Doris Comins on November 30, 1957 at St. Mary's Church in Brillion and was employed at the Brillion Iron Works for 41 years.
    He was a member of the Brillion Lions Club and a former member of the Jaycees and the Brillion City Council. He loved his family, his church, and his many wonderful friends. He also enjoyed traveling, playing golf, walking, and was an avid Brillion Lions and Green Bay Packers fan.
    Carl is survived by his wife Doris, his four children: Denise (James) Jansch of Darboy; Douglas (Janet) Miller of Brookfield; Pamela (Keith) Ott of Plymouth; Mark (Julie) Miller of Darboy; his ten grandchildren: Amber (Josh) Aerts, Ashley Jansch (fiancee Matt Baumler), Nathan and Christie Ott, Andrew, Abby, Amanda and Adam Miller, and Jenessa and Jacob Miller.
