Faye was born July 14, 1953, in Gre en Bay, Wis., daughter of the late Russell C. and Muriel A. (Jarvis) Herms en. Faye moved to Frederick, Md., and took a position with the Arlington S ymphony as performer on English horn and oboe. She was also a performing m ember of the York Symphony and Maryland Symphony Orchestras. She was the f ounder of Chamber Music Unlimited providing music for special occasions, c oncerts and weddings. Faye met Thomas Hovermale in Maryland. They were mar ried in 1992. Faye was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Frederi ck, Md. She was the regional coordinator for the Reach to Recovery Brea st Cancer Support Program. Faye loved music, family, travel, photograph y, wind-surfing, cross-country skiing and nature. Faye is survived by her husband Tom Hovermale, step-daughter Lisa (Harry-S kip) Wheatley; three step-grandchildren Meghan, Sarah and Zachary Wheatle y, all of Cockeysville, Md.; further survived by her brother, Russell R. ( Cindy Tatosky) Hermsen, Suamico, Wis.; sister, Gail (Kurt) Keeley; and nie ces, Joyce and Angela Keeley, Littleton, Colo. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Frederick, Md.     James W. Hermsen passed away on March 3, 2012, at the age of 94. He was born in Oconto, to Chris and Emily (Herman) Hermsen on Jan. 28, 1918. He graduated from Oconto High School, where he played football and basketball. In his senior year, he finished second in scoring in the conference and was a unanimous choice for the all-conference team.
    He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Education from UW-Whitewater, where he played on the varsity basketball team for four years. After graduating from Whitewater, James enlisted in the Army and was assigned to the 95th infantry division. It became part of General Patton's Third Army in the European Theater. He was awarded the Bronze Star. After his discharge, James married Evelyn Falk on Nov. 7, 1945, in Oconto.
    He began teaching and coaching at Suring High School in 1946. In 1954, he transferred to Oconto High School as a Business Education teacher. He coached the high school golf team for 23 years. He retired in 1980 after 34 years of teaching. Jim composed his own obituary in 2006 on his manual Royal typewriter.
    James was preceded in death by his wife on July 26, 1987; his daughter, Barbara Panetti, on March 31, 1998; and ten siblings, Lylla, Lita, Edward, Howard, Gordon, Russell, Ruth, Lee, Patrick, and Marge.
    Survivors include six children and their spouses, John (Patti), and Robert (Marsha), Naples, Fla.; Janet (Michael) Schoenebeck and Karen (Roger) Toole, Green Bay; Debra (Martin) Penkoske, Brookfield, Wis.; and Joyce Benson, Fort Myers, Fla.; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Roger, Appleton.
    The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 716 Madison Street, Oconto, from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery with Military Rites by the American Legion Post #74.

She was born to Christian a nd Emily (Herman) Hermsen on Nov. 28, 1919, in Oconto, WI. On Sept. 28, 19 40, Ruth married Donald F. LeBreck in Oconto. She was a wonderful, lovi ng wife, mother and grandmother.Ruth will be sadly missed by her husband, Donald; their five children a nd their spouses, Roger LeBreck, De Pere; Richard and Carol LeBreck, Lakew ood, WI; Ruth Ann and Donald F.     Hermsen, J. Roger "Rog"
    Rog passed away on Friday, September 11, 2015 at Brewster Village and is finally at peace after struggling many years with Alzheimer's disease. He was born on February 8, 1929, to Christian and Emily (Herman) Hermsen in Oconto, Wisconsin. He graduated from Oconto High School in 1946 and he then attended St. Norbert College, graduating in 1950. His first job was with Dun and Bradstreet and from there he worked as Human Resources Director at Sentry Insurance in Stevens Point. He left that position to take over as President and CEO of Bayland Telephone Company, an independent telephone company his father founded in 1909; he also was instrumental in the formation of Cellcom. Rog retired in 1992 and on November 27, 1992, he married Mary Carmen (Brewster) Goss, they enjoyed spending the following 19 winters in Destin, Florida, until Rog's illness prevented them from continuing their travels. During football season, they attended all the home games. In their leisure time they spent much of their time at their home on Kelly Lake.
    Rog is survived by his wife, Mary Carmen and by his two sons and one daughter; Chris (Dave) French, Manitowoc, Roger L. (Kathy) Hermsen, Eau Claire, and Paul (Jennifer) Hermsen, Green Bay, 9 grandchildren; Capt. Bryan (Angela) French, Adam (Lethza) French, Lindsay, Aaron and Natalie Hermsen, and Skye, Colter, Parker Hermsen and Rodney (Melissa) French, four great grandchildren; Eric, Will, Sawyer and Emelia. He is further survived by four stepchildren; Mike (Peggy) Goss, Wendy (Don Hill) Wisdom, Becky (Rick) Lindberg and Sarah (Alan) Jurgensen, six step grandchildren, Danny, Tony, Carmen and Claire Lindberg, and Isaac and Luke Jurgensen. He is also survived by a sister in law, Jean Hermsen, as well as numerous loving nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters; Lolita Twells, Ruth Lebreck and Marge Lindsay, also seven brothers; Ed, Howard, Gordon, Russell, Patrick, Lee and Jim. Also preceding him in death was his former wife Betty. Rog loved his family and was very proud of coming from a family of 11 children. He was very kind, gentle man who always looked for the best in everyone.
    A prayer service will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton. Visitation will be held from 10:00am, Saturday at the funeral home until the time of service.
    The family would like to thank all of the employees of Brewster Village who took first class care of him.
