    Marie Frances Van Nuland, age 97, formerly of Kimberly and a resident of Living Tree Estates, Greenville, died on Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at Living Tree Estates. Marie was born on February 28, 1912, in Lithoijen, Netherlands, daughter of the late Franciscus and Marie (Zeegers) Vander Weilen. Her family immigrated to Kimberly in 1923. She married John T. Van Nuland on June 25, 1934, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Kimberly. John preceded Marie in death on February 6, 1989, after almost 55 years of marriage.
    Marie was a faithful member of Holy Spirit Parish for 86 years. She loved her family and enjoyed the yearly reunions with her children and grandchildren. Marie was proud of her Dutch heritage and she and John traveled back to The Netherlands several times. After John retired, they both learned to play golf and enjoyed it year round, wintering in Florida, where Marie made a hole-in-one at Betmar. She was an avid card player and always ready for a Sheepshead game, once winning the Kimberly tournament. She also played Cribbage and Skipbo, challenging her family to many games. She enjoyed playing Solitaire on her computer. Everyone appreciated her quick wit. She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
    Survivors include seven children: Mary Pecore, Two Rivers; Harry (Sally) Van Nuland, Neenah and Zephyrhills, FL; Janet (Vern) Griesbach, Black Creek; John (Eileen) Van Nuland, Little Chute; Ed Van Nuland, Atlanta, GA; Margie (Steve) Van Thiel, Greenville; and Steve (Missy) Van Nuland, Oshkosh.     Mary F. Kilsdonk, 90, Little Chute, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2014. She was born March 23, 1924, in Kimberly, daughter of Peter and Agnes (Ruys) Vander Wielen. She graduated from Kimberly High School, Class of 1942. On June 26, 1948, Mary was united in marriage to Norbert F. Kilsdonk. She was a long time member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, helping as a communion distributor and at many other church activities. Mary was a retreat promoter for Monte Alverno Retreat Center and was a charter member of the Little Chute Historical Society. She volunteered at the Salvatorian Mission Warehouse for more than 25 years. Mary enjoyed reading and traveling, and she loved flowers, watching the birds, and little children. She was the best mom ever.

    John J. "Joe" Vander Wielen, age 84, of Kimberly, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 22, 2012. Joe was born on March 14, 1928, in Kimberly to the late Peter and Agnes (Ruys) Vander Wielen. He married Ruth Hildebrand on May 27, 1953, in Kimberly. Joe loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and watching the birds. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in the Korean War. Joe was employed at the Kimberly Paper Mill for over 40 years, retiring in 1990.
    Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ruth; his children, Steve (Gina) Vander Wielen, Amherst; Ron (Paula) Vander Wielen, Kansas; Ginny (Mike) Delfosse, Kaukauna; David Vander Wielen; Appleton; Julie (Gregg) Johnson, Appleton; Dennis Vander Wielen, Kimberly; and Dean Vander Wielen, Appleton; his grandchildren, Kurt (Nikki) Vander Wielen, Eric (Kelli) Vander Wielen, Lisa (Jeremy) Van Handel, Trisha Vander Wielen (fiance Joel), Kelly Johnson, Sarah Hasse, Bradd Johnson and Robyn Vander Wielen; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Kaylin, Jaden, Kaily, Degan, Aubrey, Ali, Hadie, Ella, Karter, Emma, Jackson and Kassidy. His sisters, Anna (Ray) Rietveld, Mary (Norb) Kilsdonk, Dorothy (Ron) Theisen and Fran (Joe) Vangrinsven; his brother, Hank (Pearl) Vander Wielen. He is further survived by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (Sue) Hildebrand, Kenny (Roseann) Hildebrand, Whitey Hildebrand, Herman (Donna) Hildebrand, Bernard (Janet) Hildebrand, Judy (Bob) Paessler, and Diane (Pat) Derby. Joe was preceded in death by a sister Theresa Rietveld and his brother Bart Vander Wielen; and sisters-in-law, Rosella Gerrits and Norma Gossens, and his brother-in-law, Carl Hildebrand.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at NOON on Monday, November 26, 2012, at HOLY NAME/HOLY SPIRIT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 620 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. David Beaudry officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Name Catholic Church Cemetery, Kimberly.     Vander Wielen, Francis A. "Charlie"Francis A. "Charlie" Vander Wielen, of Kimberly, age 80, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007, surrounded by his family. Charlie was born in Kimberly on November 11, 1926, to the late Anton T. and Johanna (De Wildt) Vander Wielen. Charlie married Gertrude S. Krueger on October 23, 1948, in Appleton. She preceded him in death June 28, 1998. He was a great inspiration and dedicated father and will be greatly missed. He proudly served in the Navy during World War II and was a member of the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60 for over 50 years. He received from the Village of Kimberly the 2001 Community Award in Recognition of Excellence. In 1989, he retired with 43 years of service from Kimberly-Clark (Neenah Plant). He was a lifetime member of Holy Name Parish in Kimberly and volunteered at the church and in the school lunch program. He also volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul and was a former trustee for the Village of Kimberly. Many will remember Charlie as the neighborhood handyman, willing and able to tinker with anything. In addition to building his own home he also enjoyed woodworking, upholstering and automotive repairs. At Christmas, his homemade gifts were enjoyed by all. Charlie and Gert enjoyed many years of square dancing, bowling and golfing, and he also enjoyed fishing with his sons.
    Charlie is survived by eight children: Kathy (Dan) Lamers of Little Chute; Gary (Pam) of Little Chute; Carol (Charlie) De Valk of Neenah; Robert (Clair) of Omaha, Nebraska; Mark (special friend Jean Oberstadt) of Kimberly; Paul (Cynthia) of Neenah; Jean (fiancee John Dietz) of Menasha; and Doug (Shelly) of Darboy; 22 grandchildren: Brian (Susan) Lamers, Laurie (Kevin) Maas, Brent (Paula) Servin, Nichole (Eddie) Pruett, Randi Lynn (Andy) Ullrich, Emily and Jennifer De Valk, Jenny (Ron) Schuman, Mindy (Chris) Wilsey, Angel (Joshua) McCormick, Sarah (Joey) Pitch, Amanda (Tom) La Brec, Lance, Jeff (Stephanie), David, Dana, Tiffany, Heather, James, Amy (Steve Weber) Kimberly; and Ashley Vander Wielen; twenty seven great-grandchildren; sisters and brother: Cecil Sweere, Agnes Vanden Oever, Bernadine (Jerry) Mignon, Patricia Gaevert and Tom Vander Wielen; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Harlan (LaVern) Clark, Leo Peters, Luella Krueger and Dorothy Kluess. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents and wife, Charlie was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Sarah De Valk; sister, Bertha (Art) Wachtendonk; brothers and sisters-in-law: Joe Vanden Oever, James Sweere, Margaret Vander Wielen, Ethel (Russel) Walker, Eunice (Tom) Quella, Gordon Krueger, Lorraine Peeters and Ruben Kluess.
    The Funeral Mass will be at 12 Noon Friday, February 23, 2007, at Holy Spirit Parish/Holy Name Church (602 E. Kimberly Ave., Kimberly). Friends may call Friday after 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass directly at church. Military rites conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60, Kimberly, will occur at Highland Memorial Park following the funeral. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in Charlie's memory.

    Michael Anthony Vander Wielen, age 89, of Appleton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the Bridges of Appleton. Mike was born May 31, 1926, in Appleton, the son of John and Chrysanthia (Klein) Vander Wielen.
    Following high school, Mike proudly served our country in the United States Army during World War II, serving as a Medical Corpman, in the Army of Operation in Paris.
    On June 21, 1947, Mike married Lorraine Mary Barbara Bohatschek, in Appleton, where they made their home and raised their family. Mike worked over 40 years for Combined Locks Paper Mill, retiring in 1991.
    Mike enjoyed ice fishing, hunting, and attending stock car races and tractor pulls. He further enjoyed spending time with his favorite companion, Sophie.
    He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Lorraine Vander Wielen; son, Chris (Carla) Vander Wielen; daughter, Kim (Mark) Rader; granddaughters, Jennifer, Bridget, Krystal, and Chantel; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Shaina, Storm, Jabin and Evan. Mike is further survived by his sister, Ramona; brothers, Joe and Ray; and nieces and nephews.
    In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his sister, Adele; and brothers, Ed and Jim.

He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
    Joe was preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant son Gregory, numerous brothers and a sister.
    A memorial service will take place at 11 am on Friday, May 18th in the Star of Hope Chapel at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St. in Appleton, followed immediately by full military honors performed by the Jacob Coppus Legion Post #258. Friends may visit at the cemetery chapel on Friday from 10 am until the time of service.

    Theodore M. "Ted" Vander Wielen, age 68, of Neenah, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, at his home after a hard fought, courageous two-year battle with lung cancer.
    Ted was born November 5, 1944, in Lithoijen, Netherlands, the son of the late Martin and Dorothy (Ceelen) Vander Wielen. He was united in marriage to Patricia K. "Pat" Van Ryzin on May 29, 1965, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Appleton. They cherished 48 years together and were blessed with two daughters, Tricia and Lisa. Ted was the former owner of Electric Motor Service, Inc. in Kaukauna prior to his retirement. In 1996, Ted purchased Brennand Airport in the town of Clayton. He had a passion for flying and he certified/flew close to 300 Young Eagles. He was a member of the EAA, Chapter UL41, loved to tinker in his hangar, and currently was building a Sidewinder experimental airplane.
    Ted and Pat wintered in Grand Island, Florida, and loved to go on cruises and travel. He was a die-hard Packer fan and loved NASCAR racing, especially Matt Kenseth. This last February they went to the Daytona 500.
    Survivors include his loving wife Pat; their daughters, Tricia (Johan) Hendriks, Neenah, and Lisa (Zack) Strassburg, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Brieanna and Logan Pack; a sister, Mary Vander Wielen, Oregon; four brothers: Tony (Bev) Vander Wielen, Peter (Sue) Vander Wielen and John (Bev) Vander Wielen, all of Appleton, and Joe (Marilyn) Vander Wielen, Neenah; many nieces, nephews and friends; not to forget his buddy Dale. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Frank.
    The funeral mass for Ted will be celebrated Saturday, April 20, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine St., Appleton, with Rev. Dennis Ryan presiding. Visitation will begin Saturday at 9:00 a.m. until the hour of mass at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ted's honor may be sent to the Young Eagles, c/o EAA Aviation Center, 3000 Poberezny Rd., Oshkosh, WI, 54902, or the American Cancer Society , 790 Marvelle Lane, Green Bay, WI, 54304.
    The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Goggins and his staff, the Affinity Hospice Program and nurse Cass, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Hazzouri and staff at Florida Cancer Center for the excellent care and compassion given to Ted and his family.
    We do not believe the cancer beat you, God just chose to let you rest. You're the strongest person we've ever known and you've had the respect of everyone that's been fortunate enough to know you. They're lucky in heaven to have you. We know you'll make them laugh…just like you made us smile here. Thanks for making our lives so special.

    John L. Vander Wielen, Appleton, age 60, passed away in the arms of his loving wife Bev, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at Appleton Medical Center. John passed away after a long, hard fought, courageous 10 year battle with diabetes. John was born on June 25, 1953 in Appleton, the son of the late Martin and Dorothy (Ceelen) Vander Wielen. On August 11, 1973 John was united in marriage to Bev A. Kelnhofer. They treasured 40 years together and were blessed with one daughter, Kristy. John worked in the printing industry prior to his home building business, Elegant Home Builders. John had a passion for restoring old cars, especially Mustangs. He also spent many hours repairing and rebuilding cars for his many friends.
    Survivors include his devoted wife, Bev and their daughter, Kristy (Brian) Jeske and six grandchildren: Connor, Aurelia, Harrison, Charlotte, Grayson, Victoria, and Roman, who will be joining the family in March. John is also survived by his sister, Mary Vander Wielen, his three brothers: Tony (Bev), Joe (Marilyn), and Peter (Sue); brothers-in-law: John (Kris) Kelnhofer and Mike (Amy) Kelnhofer, sisters-in-law: Cathy (Gregg) Scheibe, Marie (Tom) Moser, and Sharon (Joe) Mann, numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends, Dave and Sue Erdmann and their children Michele and Nick.
    Preceding him in death were his parents, three brothers: Frank, Ted, and an infant, Martin; in-laws: Arnie and Katie Kelnhofer; brothers-in-law: Dick and Larry Kelnhofer.
    A celebration of John's life will be held at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Bev and Kristy would like to express their love to John's sister Mary, for the precious gift of a healthy kidney, that gave John an additional twenty seven years of life. This gift of time allowed John to enjoy his wife, daughter, son-in-law, and grandchildren.

    Editor's note: Each Monday, the Kenosha News takes a look at the life of a Kenosha County resident who recently died. We share with you, through the memories of family and friends, a life remembered.
    Pat Coles faced her fears with her faith.
    When she struggled with brain cancer, she didn't live for "what if," she lived in the "now."
    Rather than dwelling on things to come, Pat wrote, "My job is to use the talents given me by God; to glorify Him, and to live the best life I can possibly live."
    "She could smile with her eyes, even when the corners of her mouth were down-turned," said her husband, Dave Coles.
    Taking a stand
    In My Turn columns for the Kenosha News and in online sharings, Pat also took a stand for others with disabilities that might not always be visible on the outside.
    "What I am advocating for is a bit of patience and kindness and thoughtfulness in our everyday interactions."
    "The hope that she had was infectious, and others marveled at how bravely she persevered throughout her illness," sid her sister Mary Malischke.
    Patricia Coles passed away on March 17, after a four-year battle with brain cancer. She was 64.
    Her survivors include her husband, Dave Coles; a daughter Shaula (Douglas) Hutt; a son David Patrick (Daniella) Coles; four grandchildren; siblings Frank (Liz) Kilsdonk; Joann (Dom DeLeo) Kilsdonk; Mary (Paul) Malischke; Judy (Mark) Stegman; Janet Kilsdonk; Sue (John) Danielson; Betty (Ted De Maria) Kilsdonk; Tom (Beverly) Kilsdonk; and Barb (Nate) Thompson.
    Appleton to Ann Arbor
    Pat was born in Appleton to Norbert Francis and Mary Frances Kilsdonk on July 31, 1953, the fourth of ten children and raised in the Dutch community of Little Chute.
    She graduated from St. John's High School in 1971 and from Edgewood College in Madison in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in social studies. She attended graduate programs in counseling at Marquette University in Milwaukee and theology at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Ill.
    Pat met Dave in 1983 at at Marquette. They married Aug. 31, 1984 and settled in Ann Arbor, Mich.
    While homeschooling her children, Pat worked as a proofreader for Servant Publications, and as a kindergarten aide, academic advisor and Bible teacher at Washtenaw Christian Academy in Saline, Mich.
    Recalls Dave, "She loved to bake, especially Dutch specialties during the holidays, such as speculaas, banket, and Dutch apple pie."
    Faith in art
    Pat folded her faith into many of her creative endeavors. She created, and painted sets for Vacation Bible School and for programs at Packard Road Baptist Church in Ann Arbor, including a life-sized backdrop for Da Vinci's "Last Supper."
    Mary says that her sister first discovered her artistic talent while taking a drawing class with her kids at the home school cooperative in Ann Arbor. "She loved it, and continued to teach herself to draw, while interacting informally with some local artists," she said.
    In 2003 Pat went to work as a financial aid administrator at Spring Arbor University.
    A year later, Dave moved to Kenosha for a job opportunity at Naval Station Great Lakes, Ill., and Pat stayed in Ann Arbor while their son, David, finished high school.
    Move to Kenosha
    Rejoining Dave in Kenosha in 2005, Pat went to work in the financial aid department at Carthage College. From 2010 until 2014 she served as director of financial aid at Trinity International University.
    In 2014 Pat began her battle with glioblastoma multiforme brain cancer, a treatable but incurable cancer.
    "Pat was ever hopeful and had brain surgery radiation and chemotherapy," said Mary. "She and Dave even drove to Duke University in North Carolina in a snowstorm to see if she could qualify for an experimental study where they were putting polio vaccine on these tumors."
    Just before her diagnosis, Mary recalls Pat telling her she felt that the Lord was calling her to have a speaking ministry. "Ironically, the tumor was in her speech center," she said.
    Turning to writing
    Pat turned to writing to communicate her struggles in My Turn columns and in blogs for Caring Bridge, an online journal for those who wish to share their health journey with family and friends.
    rom 2015 through 2017 Pat penned seven My Turn columns on topics ranging from the joys of Christmas to her challenges of living with brain cancer. She wrote of "silver linings" including her siblings, her faith, her friends and her physicians.
    This January, Pat declined further treatment for her condition, choosing to let the disease run its course.
    Mary says that to the end, "Pat remained positive, loving and accepting. About a month before she died, she told me, 'When my time comes, I am going to be so happy to see God's face.'"

    John Vander Wielen, Sherwood, age 58, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday evening, October 26, 2011, after a valiant fight with cancer. John was born in Appleton on July 25, 1953, son of the late Albert and Rosemary (Wolf) Vander Wielen. He was a 1971 graduate of Appleton East High School, after which he entered into the service of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. It was during his time in the Air Force that he came to love aviation and computers. He returned to Appleton and attended Fox Valley Technical Institute (FVTC) and received an Associate Degree in electronics. For over thirty years, John had been employed at Midwest Imaging in Menasha. On April 22, 1977, John married Gail Wolfgram. Despite John and Gail's separation, they remained the closest of friends and nurtured a loving family. They cared for and successfully raised two wonderful sons, Ryan and Blaine. John later met Nancy Theiler, and they shared sixteen wonderful years together. They were married at their home on Veteran's Day, 2010. A small church ceremony was held a few weeks later. John loved photography and took great pride in documenting life's events. His family will treasure all of the photos and memories John leaves behind. He also had an expansive knowledge and enthusiasm for technology that he willingly shared with others John was a founding member of Appleton's Apple Computer Club, and passed on to his children a lifelong love of learning. Aviation played an important role in John's life, and was recently recognized as an honorary lifetime member of the EAA. He was an outdoors enthusiast, who enjoyed frequent visits to High Cliff with Nancy. John also visited each of Wisconsin's state parks and enjoyed vacationing in Michigan. One of John's personal goals was reached this past August when he was blessed to be present at Blaine and Jenn's wedding.
    John is survived by his wife: Nancy Theiler of Sherwood; two sons: Ryan (Samantha) Vander Wielen of Philadelphia and Blaine (Jennifer) Vander Wielen of Darboy; two sisters and two brothers: Alice Fara of Appleton who was also one of John's unconditional caregivers; Michael (Karen) Vander Wielen of Woodstock, Georgia; Paul (Carol) Vander Wielen of Oshkosh; and Diane (John) McHale of Waldorf, Maryland; and his former wife: Gail (Steve) Bruce of Neenah.
    Friends are welcome to visit at the funeral home on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 11:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 PM. Rev. Jane Anderson and Fr. Gerald Falk will officiate. Full military honors will follow the service.
    The family would like to offer their thanks to the many family members, friends, coworkers and all others for their love and support during this difficult time. Nancy would also like to offer a special thank you to the staff and students at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha.
    John was a loving husband, devoted father, and generous friend to so many. He always placed the needs of others before those of his own, and he could be counted on for - well, everything. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

    Jill ("Beanie") Vander Zanden, (nee Vander Wielen) age 50, of Iola passed away peacefully Monday morning September 15, 2014, at St. Joseph's Hospital Marshfield.
    Jill was born in Appleton, Wisconsin to Mary Ann Hinkens -Vander Wielen- Porto and Albert Vander Wielen. She graduated from Kimberly High School in 1982, and University Wisconsin - Oshkosh majoring in Communication and Speech. One of the highlights of her college career was meeting President Jimmy Carter and writing the speech that he used when he addressed the UW-Oshkosh student body.
    Jill worked for years as a sales representative in the grocery industry for both brokers, direct corporate sales and for the American Heart Association coordinating fund raising. She was a volunteer for Operation Bootstrap, The Woman's Connection and The Lettie Jeansen Center Chocolate Festival. A perfectionist, Jill won numerous awards for her creativity, ingenuity and competitive nature.
    Jill loved life and led those around her in enjoying it. She had a great memory. Jill liked singing and dancing, and going to live concerts. One summer she attended five performances of Matchbox 20. Jill had an exceptional voice and accompanied by her guitar sang at weddings. She also sang karaoke, before a surgery took away her singing voice. She frequently bought gifts for others. Jill loved animals, especially her many dogs. She enjoyed traveling with family and friends.
    She married Mike Vander Zanden December 20, 1991. He survives. She is also survived by her mother and three sisters: Paula Vander Wielen, Linda (Eddy) Mongin, Sara Porto. Brothers, Alan (Barb McEwen) Vander Wielen, Tim Vander Wielen, Jay (Lynn) Vander Wielen, and Sam Porto. Mother and father-in-law, Marty and Vivian Vander Zanden, brother- in-law, Jeff (Bonnie) Vander Zanden, and sister-in-law, Julie Iris; 13 nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and nephews and numerous loving friends. She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather Sam Berto.

    Vanden Oever, Cynthia One of God's very special children, Cynthia A. Vanden Oever, our beloved daughter and sister, passed away on November 24, 2015 at the age of 62 at her home in Appleton. Cindy grew up in Kimberly, the oldest child of Agnes & the late Joseph Vanden Oever. Attending Robert Plamann school, she was a proud graduate of the class of '74. Cindy then spent time working at Valley Packaging Industries.
    Cindy had many interests and loved music, dancing and shopping. Those who knew her were always amazed by her incredible memory of birthdays and anniversaries of all those around her. Cindy was a happy person by nature and showed everyone what it was like to be innocent and without judgment of anyone.
    Cindy was loved dearly and is survived by her mother, Agnes; sister, Joanne (Harland) Grandy; brothers, Jim (special friend Sue Kinnard), Don (Cheryl), Dave (Jill), Joe (Lori), and Dan (Jim LaMaide). She will also forever be missed by her many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and others she met throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph, and brother, Bill.
    Cindy lived for many years at Agape group home, and more recently, at Innovative Services home. We are very grateful of the loving staff who cared for Cindy, especially the last few years during her declining health.
    Services for Cindy will be at 10:00am on Monday, November 30th, 2015 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 600 East Kimberly Avenue in Kimberly.     William "Bill" Vanden Oever, 49, Kimberly, passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at Appleton Medical Center. Bill was born on May 21, 1960, to Joseph and Agnes (VanderWielen) Vanden Oever in Appleton. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1978 and worked at the paper mill in Kimberly for nearly 30 years.
    Bill delighted in spending time with his granddaughter, Jasmine. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, campfires on his land up north and playing cribbage. Bill always enjoyed helping others, spending time with his family and friends, leaving us with many fond memories.
    Bill is survived by his son, Patrick (special friend, Misty); his daughter, Tara; granddaughter, Jasmine; Joan (mother of Patrick and Tara); his mother, Agnes Vanden Oever; sisters, Cynthia, Joanne (Harland) Grandy; brothers, Jim, Don (Cheryl), Dave (Jill), Joe and Dan; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles; special friends, Shane and Lisa; and other extended family.

    Scott Vanderwielen, 51, Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, December 20, 2014. He was born on June 17, 1963, in Appleton WI to James and Shirley Vanderwielen.
    Scott will always be remembered for his loving heart, warm spirit, kindness, smile and generosity. He was an outdoorsman who appreciated nature, enjoyed fishing, hunting, afternoons on the pontoon boat with family, winter camping with friends, and long walks in the woods with his dogs. Scott was a close friend and mentor to his nephew and nieces teaching them to hunt, fish, chop wood, and build fires. He was a die-hard Packers fan - Go Pack Go!
