Jansen, PaulPaul M. Jansen, 87, King, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2006. He was bo rn April 13, 1919, in Darboy, son of George and Clara (Kuepper) Miller, w ho preceded him in death. Paul was then raised by his aunt and uncle, h is loving adoptive parents, George and Laura Jansen. Mr. Jansen was an off icer of the United States Army and a World War II veteran. He was also a m ember of the Leo Van Roy American Legion Post #265, Darboy and the For ty & Eight Veterans Organization. Upon return from serving his country Pa ul continued his education and graduated from Lawrence University. He w as the Credit and Insurance Manager for Thilmany Pulp and Paper Company un til his retirement.Paul enjoyed his pet dog, golfing, fishing, music, cards, bowling, pool, r eading, and life itself.He is survived by his three daughters: Olivia (Joe) Wittmann, Patricia Jan sen, Paula (Ralph) Johnson; 11 Grandchildren: Joseph, Paul (Tasha), John ( Lori), Richard, Linda Jo (John), Laura (Max), Michael (Samantha), Ralph II I, Lisa, Michelle, and Kurt; 16 great grandchildren; his former wife, Mild red J. Jansen; a sister, Eleanor Schuh and two nephews.A visitation and gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thursda y, Aug. 3, 2006, at the Verkuilen Funeral Home, Little Chute, with milita ry rites conducted by the William Verhagen American Legion Post #60, Kimbe rly to follow.
