    Obituary:
Elaine E. Springstroh, 81, of Appleton completed her journey to her heavenly home on Wednesday April 25, 2012 with her family by her side. She was born January 25, 1931 in Appleton, daughter of the late William and Louise (Schultz) Frahm. Elaine married Earl ""Bud"" Springstroh on September 20, 1947.
Elaine spent her years on their farm on Ballard road, raising her children and working at various businesses in the Appleton area. She worked for a time at Appleton East High School in food service. Elaine worked hard to raise her family and made sure they always had what they needed. She instilled high values and practiced what she preached. After all of the children left, she became more involved with helping with many tasks on the farm. She especially liked feeding all of the baby calves but she always made sure they had a clean face after feeding. The cats and the new kittens were always under her special care. During her retirement years she enjoyed working in the garden, especially her flowers. The past few years were a little difficult for her to actively work outdoors, but she would supervise. She always welcomed folks into her home. She was a life long member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Appleton.
Elaine is survived by her husband of 64 years, Earl; eight children, Ellyn (Dennis) Forbeck, Appleton, Mary Kay (Terry) Nechodom, Appleton, Donna (Mike) Day, Appleton, Paul (Tracy) Springstroh, Appleton, Charles (Joanne) Springstroh, Appleton, Glenn (Leanne) Springstroh, Freedom, JoAnn (Larry) Cornelius, Oneida, and Sherrie (Dan) Strong, Freedom; 14 grandchildren, Dawn (Paul) Buxton, Joe (Emily) Nechodom, Christi (Mike) Howerton, Rob (Jackie) Springstroh, Shelly (Andy) Rugotska, Adam (Hannah) Springstroh, Josh (Nicole) Baumann-Springstroh, Jennifer Baumann (fiancé Luke Cross), Jesse Springstroh, Brandon Springstroh, Amy (Nick) Schmidt, Christopher Cornelius (friend, Tierney McDowell), Ty Cornelius (fiancée Tanya Grimm), and Jeremy Strong (friend Joni Arrowood); 15 great grandchildren, Renee, Addison, Addison Grace, Kaylin, Ava, Brady, Brielle, Parker, Emma, Kaydence, Arianna, Alana, Adrea, Tyneea, and Zane; brother, Eugene (Claire) Frahm, Menasha; sister, Eleanor (James) Wilz, Appleton; sister-in-law, Edna Schultz, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.
