Alice's mother's name was spelled Dessell (Rose Dessell). She was born abt 1886 in Morgan, Oconto, WI to Joseph Dessell (1860-1925) and Mary F. Trace (1866-1939). Rose Dessell married Mike Wagner on 26 Sep 1905 in Oconto Co. and later divorced him. Her 2nd spouse was (widowed) Charles A. Hanelt (1865-1941) whom she married on 7 Dec 1926 in Menomonee, Menomonee, MI. I haven't been able to locate Rose's death date or place of burial.

Alice married Kositzke, Orville F. Aft 1930, Oshkosh, Winnebago, Wisconsin, USA. Orville (son of Kositzke, Herman and Luebke, Ella Emilie) was born 3 Apr 1913; died 4 Oct 1995; was buried , Community Lutheran Cemetery, Freedom, Wisconsin, USA. [Group Sheet]
