    Obituary:
    Jerome J. Sigl, 81, passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton. He was born in Appleton on Dec. 23, 1925, to William and Marie (Kuehne) Sigl. Jerry graduated from Shiocton High School class of 1944. In June of 1946, he enlisted in the Air Force was discharged in July of 1949. He married Erma Voeks Jan. 5, 1957, in Appleton, she passed away in November of 1972. In 1973, Jerry married Mary Wingrove-Lausman. They enjoyed 30 years together until Mary passed away in August of 2003. Jerry was a generous giving person, who would do anything for anyone. He loved his God, his country and his family and friends. Getting together with family and friends was one of Jerry's greatest enjoys. He enjoyed playing cards, and games, watching sports, reading, and seeing the country. To sit by John's fire pit during any given evening was a great pleasure to him, he had a very special relationship with his step-son, John and wife, Gretchen.
    Jerome is survived by three step-children, Tom (Babs) Lausman, Mackville; John (Gretchen) Lausman, Chillicothe, Ohio; Kathy (Terry) Hurley, Combined Locks; grandchildren, Jennifer (Patrick) Bruss, Chad (Jamie) Lausman, Allison (Patrick) Rusch, Joseph (Jodi) Hurley, Bryan Lausman, Willie Lausman, Mary Lausman; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cyril (Yvonne) Sigl, Shiocton; Clement Sigl, Neenah; a sister; Gladys Wry, Seymour and a sister-in-law, Dorothy LaRue.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Wilber and Norbert Sigl and a sister, Irene Schnabl.
    A memorial mass will be held at St Bernadette's Catholic church Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until time of Service.
    The family would like to thank the ladies at Century Oaks for the care they gave to Jerry.
    Jerry never complained about the sadness in his life. He knew that his God was with him and would carry him through. He was a wonderful man.
