    Eleanor M. "Ell" Allard, age 75 of Appleton, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, May 12, 2012 to the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ell was born on October 10, 1936 in Appleton, daughter of the late Henry and Marge (Clancy) Grapengieser. On July 7, 1956, she was married to Larry Allard and they made their home in Appleton. Ell enjoyed playing cards, cooking, her cardinal birds, going up north, her plants and flowers, the Packers, fishing, and being with her family.
    Ell is survived by her loving husband, Larry; three sons, Gary (Carol) Allard, Mike (Julie) Allard, and David Allard; two daughters, Sandy (Mark) Vandenberg, and Lori (George) Tong; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is further survived by four brothers, Carl Grapengieser, Chuck (Karen) Grapengieser, Tim (Sharon) Grapengieser, and Terry (Marge) Grapengieser; one sister, Jean; a sister-in-law, Annette Grapengieser; two brothers-in-law, Brian (Shirley) Allard and Don (Sue) Allard; her best friend, Norma Bolduan; and the family pets. She was further preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law, Ashton and Thelma Allard; two brothers, Pete and Jeff Grapengieser; a sister-in-law, Corrine Grapengieser, and best friend, Jim Bolduan.
    A memorial service for Ell will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at VALLEY FUNERAL HOME, 2211 N. Richmond St. Appleton. Friends may call on Saturday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
    The family would like to send a special thanks to all the beautiful people at St. Elizabeth Hospital and Oakridge Gardens for their love and care for Mom.
    You are our mother, best friend, and angel. We will love and miss you always, mom.
    Honey, you are my wife and soulmate. I will love you forever. All my love, Larry.

    Carl J. "Bub" Grapengieser, age 75 of Appleton, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on November 22, 1939 to the late Henry J. and Margaret M. (Clancy) Grapengieser in Appleton. At 17, he joined to Marines and proudly served his country. He married Corienne Marie Darbeaux and she preceded him in death on October 23, 2011. Bub enjoyed hunting, fishing and going up north. He enjoyed playing cards and was a Vikings and Packers fan. He is survived by his brothers; Gerald "Chuck" (Karen) Grapengieser, Timothy (Sharon) Grapengieser and Terrance (Margie) Grapengieser, and his sister, Jean Grapengieser. He is further survived by sister in law, Annette Grapengieser, brothers in law; Larry Allard and Dennis Darbeaux, several nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and his dog, Buddy. Preceding Carl in death are his parents, his wife, Corienne, sister, Eleanor Allard, brothers Patrick Grapengieser and Jeffrey Grapengieser. A memorial service will be held at 12:30PM, on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St, Appleton, gathering of friends and family will be held from 11:00AM until 12:30PM.

    Jean Grapengieser, age 60, of Appleton, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2016 at St. Elizabeth hospital. She was born in Appleton on December 17, 1955 to the late Henry and Margaret (Clancy) Grapengieser. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially up north at the family cottages. Jean was also a fan of NASCAR and football.
    She is survived by her son, Sam Post, her brothers; Tim (Sharon) Grapengieser, Chuck (Karen) Grapengieser and Terry (Margie) Grapengieser. Jean is further survived by her brother in law, Larry Allard as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her significant other, Allen Post, her sister, Eleanor Allard and brother Carl (Cori) Grapengieser.
    A gathering of friends and family will be held at a later date.
    In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
