    ST. JOHN WOMAN DIES AT HOME OF DAUGHTER
    Special to Post-Crescent Sherwood-Mrs. Frank Raab, 59, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ben Fink at St. John late Monday of heart disease. She had been ill a week. Mrs. Raab had lived her entire life in this vicinity. Survivors are the widower, and three daughters, Mrs. Paul Lopas, Forest Junction; Mrs. Theodore Bloy, St. John and Mrs. Ben Fink, St John; two brothers, Mike Fisch, Greenville and Jake Fisch, Milford, Iowa; six sisters, Anna Fisch, Manitowoc; Mrs. Henry Giesen, Sherwood; Mrs. George Prechtel, Milwaukee; Mrs. George Star, Milwaukee; Mrs. John Guthrie, Milwaukee; Mrs. Fred Gillete, Wilmette, Ill and eight grand children.     Mrs. Rose A. (Nick) Thiel, Appleton, Formerly of St. John WI, 99, passed away at Franciscan Care Center on Tues. Apr. 1, 1997. She was born on Sept. 3, 1897 in the Town of Woodville, the daughter of the late John and Rose Horn Fisch. Rose was united in marriage to Nickolas Thiel on June 12, 1917 at St. John Catholic Church in St. John. They spent their life farming. He preceded her in death on June 1, 1935. She enjoyed rug weaving, playing cards and socializing with her friends. Rose retired from Gilbert Paper Co. in Menasha on Sept. 1, 1962. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Menasha. She was also preceded in death by her son, Silverius "Syl" Thiel, grandson, Tim Thiel; brothers: Michael and John Fisch; and a sister, Gertrude Schreiner.
    She is survived by two daughters: Evelyn (Fahrenkrug) (George) VandenBrook, Kimberly; Rosalyn Thiel, Menasha; friend Henry Horn; daughter-in-law, Kathleen (Russell) Beck; six grandchildren: Richard Fahrenkrug, Menasha, Jacqueline (Steve) LaRose, Appleton; Robert (Rhoda) Thiel, Clintonville; Gary (Bonnie) Thiel, Mosinee; Mary (James) Roberts, Eagan MN; Dawn Anderson, Minneapolis MN.     The funeral mass will be Fri. Apr. 4, 1997 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, 212 Appleton St. with Fr. Bob Lussier officiating. The visitation will be Friday at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of mass. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in St. John. In lieu of flowers memorials and masses are appreciated to a scholarship fund for St. Mary Catholic Church. The Valley Funeral Home, Appleton, is assisting the family with arrangements.     Forest Junction Age 83, died Friday, July 21, 1978 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Appleton, following a short illness. She was born December 21, 1894 in the town of Woodville. Her parents were the late Frank & Elizabeth Fisch Raab. She married Walter Krueger in 1914 and he preceed her in death in 1920. In 1925 she married Theodore Bloy. He preceded her in death in 1959. They farmed in the Town of Woodville until 1941 and then farmed in the Town of Brillion until 1959. She moved to Forest Junction and was the cook at Forest Junction Elementary School for 18 years. She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction and a member of the Ladies Aid and the Open Door Bible Class. Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Glen (Vivian) Hacker, Rt. 1 Brillion; Mrs. Gerald (Audrey) Elsner, Green Bay; three sons: Roger Roy Krueger, Appleton; Melvin Krueger, Appleton; Rev. Wilmer Bloy, Milwaukee; 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters.! The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Zion United Methodist Church, Forest Junction, with the Rev. Mark Swanson officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Home Cemetery.     Ruth M. Staffeld, age 91, of Neenah passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Prairie Home in Menasha. She was born on September 19, 1925, daughter of the late John and Hattie (Sternhagen) Backes. On June 11, 1949 she married Donald F. Staffeld. Their marriage was blessed with two sons and 52 wonderful years before Donald preceded her in death on October 8, 2001. Ruth worked side-by-side with Don at their insurance business. She took pride in raising family and keeping a nice home. Ruth was an expert at throwing together many last-minute fish boils, per Don's request. She volunteered for many years at the EAA as a docent, into her late 80s. She and Don both enjoyed working with the B-17. Ruth loved birdwatching, and reading. She was a warm soul, with a big heart, and she loved her family to no end.
    She will be sadly missed by her sons: Bill (Jill) Staffeld, Neenah; Bob (Laurie) Staffeld, Appleton; a brother-in-law, Robert J. Staffeld, Mountain Home, AR; a close friend, Judy Millard; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and her beloved husband Don, she was preceded in death by her sister, Leola Backes; and brother-in-law, Alvin Staffeld.
    A Memorial Gathering for Ruth will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest beside Don at Oak Hill Cemetery in Neenah. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in her name.

    Our beloved father, brother, grandpa and great grandpa, Donald "Monus" Verstegen, age 88, Little Chute, passed away July 10, 2017. He is now at peace with our Lord and his loving wife, Doris and his son, Jim.
    Don was born in Little Chute on November 1, 1928, son of the late George and Marie (Kees) Verstegen. He graduated from Little Chute High School in 1947 and married Doris Muthig on September 6, 1958. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion Post #258 in Little Chute. Don loved to play cards and was involved with several different card clubs through the years. He drove truck for the Appleton Papers Lox Mill for 43 years before his retirement in 1991.
    Don is survived by his children: Jeff Verstegen, Kaukauna; Jolene Verstegen, Little Chute; Judi (John) Wolf, Appleton; Jon Verstegen, Suamico; his grandchildren: Crystal (Cory) Solon, Derek (Valerie) Verstegen, Amy Losselyong, Joshua (Holly), Benjamin & Nicholas Wolf, and Sophia Verstegen; great-grandchildren: McKenzie Gillis, Alaena & Aubrey Wolf and Marlee Verstegen; brothers: Carl and Ross Verstegen; sisters-in-law: Lois Selig and Geneva Muthig; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Cletus C. "Clete" Kees, age 76, of Chilton died on April 9, 2009 at the Chilton Care Center in Chilton.
    He was born June 28, 1932 in Green Bay, son of the late Andrew and Irene (Mahlberg) Kees.
    Clete married Carol Zastrow on August 3, 1954 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Chilton.
    During his life he worked at Rueping Leather Company for 31 years, and then at Paul-Flagg Leather Company until retiring in 1995.
    He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge, the Brothertown Fishing Club and the Nash Car Club. Cletus was known to his family as a 'Jack of All Trades' and could manage to make or fix anything that was needed. He also took great pleasure in the time up north at his 'Little Piece of Heaven', and making wood with Ob.
    Survivors include his wife, Carol; 5 children, Glenn (Charlotte) Kees of Chilton, Terry Kees of Chilton, Richard (Peggy) Kees of Chilton, Bryon (Cathy) Kees of Chilton, Wayne (Kathy) Kees of Chilton; 6 grandchildren, Chris, Brad (Betsy), Kyle (Gloribel), Megan, Brady and Grant; a great-grandchild, Hunter; a sister, Delilas "Toots" (Tony) Luniak of Darboy; and special friends, Paul and Debbie, Ob and Dennis. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    Cletus was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister, Angela.

    Marlyn Margaret Kees, age 78, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 9, 2014 at Oakridge Gardens Nursing Center in Menasha.
    Marlyn was born May 27, 1935 in Appleton, WI the only child of Sylvester and Gladys (Levknecht) Kees. She spent her early years on a farm and other places in the Stockbridge and Sherwood area. Along with her mother and father she helped run High Cliff Amusement Park in the late 40's and early 50's. The park was well known for its old fashion merry-go-round, flying swings train rides and other amusements. That park is now known as High Cliff State Park.
    She graduated with a perfect attendance record from Hilbert High School. Following graduation she was employed at Gilberts Paper Mill, Woolworths, Walgreens, Kresge's and K-Mart.
    Going to the Fox Cities Foxes baseball games was her favorite pastime. She rarely missed a home game and along with a group of her friends would faithfully attend many of the road games. Her love of baseball continued when they became the Timbler Rattlers and moved to their present location.
    She is survived by a son, Brian (Susan) Foster of St. Louis, MO, and their children Brandon, Madison and Bailey. She is further survived by many cousins and friends.
    A memorial service will be held at a later date at Martens-Laemmrich Funeral Home in Menasha. Details will appear in the Post Crescent.

She was born on October 15, 1918, in St. John, Town of Woodville, daughter of the late Nicolas and Rose (Fisch) Thiel. Evelyn was a graduate of Hilbert High School. She was united in marriage to Franklin "Sonny" Fahrenkrug on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1946. He preceded her in death on June 10, 1966. Evelyn owned and operated Fahrenkrug's Boat Rental, Bait and Tackle Shop in Menasha until her retirement in 1988. The business was started by her husband, Franklin in the 1940's. She was known to many customers as "the minnow lady". Through the years she enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening. On December 19, 1996, she married George Vanden Brook. George preceded her in death on August 4, 2003. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Menasha, the National Catholic Society of Foresters, the Rainbow's Club and Menasha-Neenah Homemakers Club for many years. Evelyn also enjoyed reading the newspaper and keeping up with current events, playing sheepshead, watching baseball and the Olympics, especially figure skating. Family get togethers especially during the holidays and her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special to her. She was very devout in her prayers especially praying the rosary daily as long as she was able to. In her later years, she resided with her daughter Jackie, son-in-law Steve, and her lap companion Scooter in Greenville where she enjoyed the outdoors and gardening a great deal.

    Evelyn will be sadly missed by her loving children, Richard (Louise) Fahrenkrug, Appleton, and Jackie (Steve) LaRose, Greenville. Evelyn is survived by her grandchildren, Desiree (Joe) Bongers, Oshkosh; Scott Fahrenkrug, Menasha; Kelly LaRose, Appleton; and Carrie (Brian) Binder, Oshkosh, Amy (Chuck) Barber, Marinette; and seven great-grandchildren, Kaylie Young; Henry, Auden and Eleanor Bongers; Blake, Brooks and Briggs Binder; stepchildren, David (Donna) Vanden Brook, James Vanden Brook; brothers-in-law Vernon Fahrenkrug and sisters-in-law Ione Fahrenkrug, and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
    Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Silverius Thiel, sister, Rosalyn Thiel; sons-in-law, James Forrest and Dennis Porath; stepchildren George (Diane) Vanden Brook Jr. and Pat Vanden Brook, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Carola (Elof) Nygren, Maurelia (Clarence) Godhardt, Gretchen (Edward) Howley, Dorothy (Elmer) Chouinard, Mary (Sylvester) Zielinski, Edmund (Helen) Fahrenkrug, Carl Fahrenkrug, Myron Fahrenkrug, Rita Fahrenkrug, Wonnie Mae Chouinard, Arline Fahrenkrug and Kathleen Beck.
    The funeral mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, August 10, 2018 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH (528 Second St., Menasha) with Rev. Paul Paider officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
    The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Ascension St. Elizabeth Hospital 3rd floor staff, The Bridges of Appleton staff, and Ascension Hospice. Also the family would like to thank Mom's lunch buddies at The Bridges of Appleton for their companionship and watching over for Mom.

    Vivian Hacker, age 91, of Kiel, died following her battle with cancer on Sunday, May 20, 2007, at Century Ridge in Chilton. She was born in the Town of Woodville on April 20, 1916, daughter of the late Walter Krueger and Clara (Raab) Krueger Bloy. She was a 1934 graduate of Kaukauna High School. On November 26, 1936, she was united in marriage to Glenn W. Hacker in Forest Junction. He preceded her in death on September 21, 1979. On December 28, 1982, she married Raymond C. Schreiber of Kiel, who also preceded her in death on January 12, 1994. Vivian worked on the family farm in the Town of Brillion. She also managed the elementary school hot lunch program in Forest Junction and, later, the Brillion High School hot lunch program for a total of 24 years. She was always active in church activities, being a Sunday school teacher at Forest Junction Evangelical United Brethren Church for 30 years, a member of the United Methodist Women of Forest Junction and St. Peters United Church of Christ Women's Guild in Kiel. Vivian gave time and leadership to the Calumet County 4-H, serving on the County Leaders Council for four years, and as a leader for the Forest Junction Ever Ready Club for 26 years. She enjoyed creative cooking, gardening, quilting, traveling, studying and understanding the natural environment, and learning about different cultures. Vivian also enjoyed daily morning breakfasts with her friends at the Riverview, as well as playing games with relatives and friends. She loved life to the fullest and still found space to listen for the spirit's call.
    Survivors include her children: Laurel (Gary) Vondrachek, Kiel; Dr. Roger R. (Esther) Hacker, Ontario, Canada; Byron G. (Judy) Hacker, Chilton; Leon J.     Lorraine M. Eldred, age 87, of Stockbridge, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton.
    She was born May 28, 1927 in the Town of Woodville, daughter of the late Herbert & Gertrude (Cook) Fisch. Lorraine married Russell Eldred on June 13, 1950 at St. John Catholic Church in the Town of Woodville; he preceded her in death on October 7, 1970.
    Lorraine farmed her entire life in the Town of Stockbridge; a calling she took very seriously and treasured each moment farming side by side with her son, Francis, until her retirement in 2000. In her earlier years, Lorraine also worked at Brant as a server and cook in the kitchen. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Stockbridge where she also belonged to the Christian Women. She further belonged to the Farm Bureau, and the Stockbridge Legion Auxiliary.
    Lorraine was an outgoing lady who always looked for ways to help and serve others. She tended a large garden where fresh veggies were harvested, canned, and served with her delicious home made dinners complete with fresh dessert. In her free time, Lorraine enjoyed time spent at parades, dancing, and looked forward to attending church picnics, especially Stockbridge's. Later in life, Lorraine took pleasure in watching the Green Bay Packers and the UW Badgers, and was able to experience new things through her travels in the United States. Family was certainly most important to Lorraine. She was a loving and devoted mother who also loved watching her grandchildren grow in age and experience.
    Survivors include her children: Wayne (Kathleen) Eldred, Judith Ann Steffes and her fiancé Duane Retzlaff, Richard (Cindy) Eldred, Steven (JoAnn) Eldred, JoAnn (Dennis) Turney, Nancy Eldred; her grandchildren: Jamie (Cathy), Cory (Peggy), Amanda (Kevin), Ryan (Barb), Chad (Bekki), Sara, Charlotte (Chad), & Doug; her great grandchildren: Melannie, Hailey, Michael, Ariana, Collin, & Cole; and 3 sisters: Jeanne Anthony, Marjorie Stebane, & Marian Dorn. Lorraine is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

    Kenneth B. Fisch, age 77, of Hilbert, died on Thursday, December 06, 2012 at Oakridge Gardens in Menasha. He was born December 1, 1935 in the Town of Woodville, son of the late Herbert & Gertrude (Cook) Fisch.
    He married Ellenora Benthien on June 18, 1957 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John.
    Ken devoted his life to the farm he ran in Woodville until his retirement in 1998. During his farming years, he also ran an Appleton Post Crescent route through the Woodville and Hilbert areas for over 34 years. Ken had been further employed at times in his life by the Town of Woodville, and Kassen Cheese in Brillion.
    He was a member of St. John Catholic Church, the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Chilton, the Hilbert Knights of Columbus, the Catholic Knights, and the Calumet County Farm Bureau. Ken loved his farm, and the work he was able to accomplish. He was always willing to drive around the countryside surveying the land and watching the crops at each plot of land. This was one of the reasons he had taken up the rural paper route; it afforded him another opportunity to admire the land all around him.
    Ken also enjoyed being around friends and family. He enjoyed good conversation with anyone and frequently passed along his wisdom about life to his children. Ken put the needs of those he loved before his own needs; always giving fully of himself to those around him.
    He is survived by his wife: Ellenora; 4 children: Donald (Penny) Fisch of Hilbert, Michael Fisch of Cottage Grove and his special friend, Gail, Robert Fisch of East Troy, Kevin (Carla) Fisch of Hilbert; 5 grandchildren: Jason (Nikki) Fisch, Adam (Tracey) Fisch, Brian (Rachel) Fisch, Erik Fisch and his special friend, Ashley, Amber Fisch; 2 great-grandchildren: Shane Fisch & Audrey Fisch; 4 sisters: Lorraine Eldred, Marjorie Stebane, Jeanne Anthony, Marian Dorn; and his brothers-in-law: Franklin (Delores) Benthien, John Benthien, Fred (Carol) Benthien.     Terry A. "Tub" Kees, age 57, of Chilton, died following complications from a stroke on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at the LifeCare Hospital in Pewaukee. He was born May 18, 1956 in Chilton, son of Carol (Zastrow) Kees and the late Cletus Kees.
    He was a member of the Brothertown Fishing Club and loved the great outdoors. This suited him well because Tub enjoyed over 30 years of working at Heritage Orchard on the East shore of Lake Winnebago with Vern, Adam & the "girls". Lake Winnebago also supplied him with many sturgeon over the years and the orchard was home to the deer and turkeys he loved to hunt. One of his favorite past times was to cruise the back roads looking for deer.
    Survivors include his mother: Carol; his brothers: Glenn "Punk" (Charlotte) Kees of Chilton, Richard (Peggy) Kees of Chilton, Wayne "Butch" (Kathy) Kees of Chilton; and a sister-in-law: Catherine Kees. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
    Tub was preceded in death by his father: Cletus; and a brother: Bryon.
    Funeral service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 4:45 pm.

    Bryon D. Kees, age 53, of Chilton, died on Saturday, November 24, 2012 in the Town of Stockbridge. He was born May 20, 1959 in Chilton, son of Carol (Zastrow) Kees and the late Cletus Kees.
    Bryon married Catherine J. Stilp on April 29, 1990 in Stockbridge.
    For over 25 years, Bryon worked at Stockbridge Engineering where he diligently worked hard and accomplished any task he was asked to do.
    He was truly a 'Jack of all Trades' and amazed everyone with the working knowledge he possessed about everything. He remodeled and built the addition to his house brick by brick from the basement up, loving every moment knowing his work and skill was a gift from God.
    He was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and the Brothertown Fishing Club. He was an avid outdoorsman; loving each instant of hunting, fishing, and ice fishing with the group. He was known on the lake as 'Simple Simon', traveling from location to location with his wife, 'Simon Says' looking for the most bites. He was a kind and loving man; giving of himself fully to those he loved.

    Thiel, Robert J. Bob Thiel, age 71 of Menasha, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday afternoon, October 21, 2015 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, surrounded by his family and dearest friends. Bob was born in Appleton on April 14, 1944, son of the late Syl and Kathleen (Van De Hey) Thiel. He was a member of the first graduating class at Xavier High School and attended the University of Wisconsin - Fox Valley prior to receiving a degree in vocal music from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh. On April 22, 1967, he married Rhoda Laabs at St. Therese Catholic Church in Appleton and together the couple enjoyed forty-eight wonderful years together. Bob taught at Appleton's James Madison Junior High School for two years and then entered the insurance industry as an agent for American Family. Soon thereafter American Family moved Bob to Madison to work in the training department. Later, he worked as a District Manager for American Family, based in Decatur, Illinois. Eventually Bob and Rhoda returned to Appleton where they operated a uniform business while Bob also worked for Integrity Insurance.
    In 1981 Bob and his family moved to Seymour, Wisconsin where Bob became a very successful independent insurance agent. This culminated in the acquisition of two independent insurance agencies, one owned by Bernie Meyer and another owned by Bob's father, Syl Thiel. With the completion of these acquisitions Bob formed Family Insurance Center. This independent insurance agency has continued to flourish under Bob's successor Eric DeBruin, with locations now in three cities - Seymour, Greenville, and Stockbridge.
    Bob was a voracious reader, jokester and story teller, often learning of a good story during his many travels with Rhoda. An avid sports fan, Bob could often be seen rooting for the Packers and Brewers. When the games were done Bob would go out for a motorcycle ride or go fishing. His love of fishing prompted a move to a retirement home on Cloverleaf Lakes where he spent hours chasing the elusive crappies. Bob and Rhoda also looked forward to their winters in Florida on the golf course with friends. He was a member of the Appleton Downtown Rotary Club where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship and also played in the Geriatric Jazz Band.
    Many will remember Bob for his involvement with the Barbershop Harmony Society. With his dad's guidance Bob joined at the age of twelve and had been a member for nearly sixty years. He sang with countless groups including several with this family members such as The Thiel Family Singers, Family Feud, and Like Father, Like Son. Some of his dearest friends were also barbershop singers and when they teamed up they formed quartets such as Ham 'n' Wry, Vocal Affair, The Olde Tymers, Perfect Timing, and the gospel group Friends. For many years Bob was the director of the Appleton Fox Valleyaires Chorus and in 2000 was a co-founder and director of the Pride of the Valley Chorus. A music teacher at heart, Bob's ability to share his love for music was so very important to him. He was always ready to teach a tag to a newcomer, woodshed a classic with an old-timer, and show up at an afterglow "once in a while." His barbershop hobby meant the world to him and he treasured the countless friends he made over the years.
    Bob is survived by his loving wife: Rhoda Thiel of Menasha; two children: Stacia (Todd) Keathley of Montclair, New Jersey and Todd (Julie) Thiel of Appleton; four grandchildren: Harrison and Ingrid Keathley and Elsa and Hunter Thiel; a brother: Gary (Bonnie) Thiel of Fond du Lac; two sisters: Mary (Jim) Roberts of Eagan, Minnesota and Dawn Thiel of Minneapolis; two sisters-in-law: Marcia (Howard) Vrankin of Port Washington and Cynthia (Bob) Becker of Oshkosh; and two brothers-in-law: Gary (Eileen) Laabs of Hanover, Pennsylvania and Tim (Theresa Henning) Laabs of Lublin, Wisconsin. There are also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Tim Thiel, and Rhoda's parents: Orville and Dorothy Laabs.
    A memorial service for Bob will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 26, 2015 at First English Lutheran Church, 326 E. North Street in Appleton, with Rev. Mary Bauer officiating.     He was born August 5, 1938 in Forest Junction, WI to the late Elmer Lopas and Toni Lopas Grissman.
    On April 4, 1959 he was united in marriage to Darlene Van Handel. He attended St. John's school in Little Chute. He retired from Fox River Paper in 2001 and moved to Post Lake. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Elcho. He enjoyed cooking breakfast with the Holy Family's Men's Club. He was a former board member of the Post Lake Improvement Association. He enjoyed playing horseshoes, sheepshead and boat rides and spending time with family and friends.

    David "Trini" Lopas, 66, Kimberly, passed away on April 22, 2014. Trini was born on February 15, 1948 to the late Elmer and Toni (VanRoy) Lopas in Appleton. On August 14, 1976 he married the former Linda Wachtendonck at Holy Name Catholic Church. He was a long time employee with Thilmany Paper, retiring last year. David's children and grandchildren meant the world to him. Most of all he loved time with his family. David loved sports of all kinds but especially loved the Kimberly Papermakers. He was a regular at the games and rarely missed one. He also liked the Brewers, Badgers, Packers and NASCAR.
    He will be sadly missed by: his wife Linda; his children: Tamie Lopas, Kimberly and her son Landon; Jenny (Matt) Brans, Kimberly and their sons Cole and Carson; Scott (Tiff) Lopas, Kaukauna and a soon to arrive grandchild David called "Little P", expected in July; 2 brothers; Don (Darlene) Lopas; Bob (Donna) Lopas; sister-in-law Sandy Lopas; Linda's entire family and many other relatives and friends.
