    AFTERGLOW
I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one.I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when the day is gone.
I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways.Of happy times, and laughing times, and bright and sunny days.I’d like the tears of those that grieve to dry before the sun.Of happy mem ories that I leave when life is done.

Thank you to the dear staff at Renaissance Assisted Living, who made one of mom's last wishes come true. They worked tirelessly with the wonderful team at Theda Care At Home Hospice to make it possible for her to remain in her own little apartment and in her own bed until the Lord called her home. A special thank you to our friend, Wally, who faithfully visited Mom every day, making her smile and sometimes grumble if he talked during a Packer or Brewer game.
