    Peter A. Van Krey, 77, of Kimberly, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 20, 2010. Peter was born on November 11, 1932, to the late Martin and Jane (Van Nuland) Van Krey. He married Gale Rohm on June 1, 1957. Pete was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War from 1951 until 1955 as an apprentice electrician. He worked for 15 years at Kimberly-Clark before and after his time in the Navy. He then worked as an iron worker first at Asco-Hennes and then Boldt Construction until his retirement in 1994 and was a member of Iron Workers Union Local #8 and the American Legion. Pete was a Boy Scout leader for many years with his sons. He enjoyed camping, gardening, loved the outdoors and was known as "Mr. Fix-It" and liked working with his hands but most of all his family was most important to him. Pete was a hard-working, devoted husband, father and "Bumpa."
    Pete is survived by his wife of 53 years Gale Van Krey; three children: Kathleen (Bruce) Sprangers, Kaukauna; Michael (Jennifer) Van Krey, Mundelein, IL; James (Fiancee Jamie) Van Krey, Appleton; six grandchildren: Shelly (Fiance Lucas), Thomas, Bradley, and Grace Sprangers and Kieran and Zoe Van Krey, his brothers: Harry, John (Shirley), Tony (Joan), Joe (Judy) Van Krey, brothers-in-law; Robert (Pat) Rohm, Frank Diehn, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Pete was preceded in death by an infant sister, a sister, Ann Diehn, and sisters-in-law: Jean Van Krey, Mary Van Krey and Janice Rohm.
    As per his wishes, there will be no services for Pete.

    Anthony M. Van Krey, age 80, of Kimberly, passed away at St. Paul Home, Kaukauna, on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. Tony was born on November 4, 1935, in Kimberly, to the late Martin and Jane (Van Nuland) Van Krey. He married Joan Philipsen on August 24, 1957, in Kimberly. Tony was a well-known electrician in the Valley, retiring in 1995. With his brother Joe, Tony built and operated Van Krey's Supper Club (now Tanners) in Kimberly.
    Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Joan; his children, Lynn Van Krey (Thomas Ehlenfeldt), San Francisco, California; Jean (Bruce) Hawley, Kimberly; Cindy (Mark) Apitz, Menasha; Dianne (Matt) Young, Weston, Wisconsin; and Ken (Tamara) Van Krey, Hortonville; his grandchildren, Tanner, Trace and Griffin Hawley; George and Chester Sosnowski, Maria and Sylvia Young: Hannah (Jake) Skalmusky, Chase and Ella Van Krey; his brother, Harry Van Krey; his sisters-in-law, Janet (Dick) Meyer, Gale Van Krey, Shirley Van Krey and Judy Van Krey; and his brothers-in-law, Ken (Dot) Philipsen and Clem (Gerry) Philipsen. He was preceded in death by his sister, Anne (Frank) Diehn; his brothers, Pete Van Krey, John Van Krey Joe (Mary) Van Krey, and Allen Philipsen; his in-laws, George and Ann Philipsen; and his grandson, Joshua Young.
    The Funeral Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at HOLY SPIRIT PARISH - KIMBERLY SITE, 600 East Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Kimberly. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at St. Paul Home and St. Paul Hospice, for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Tony's name.     Joseph Martin Van Krey, age 76, passed on to eternal life from cancer at his home on Sunday, January 26, with his wife, Judy, and kids at his side.
    Joe was born in Kimberly, the youngest son of the late Martin and Jane (Van Nuland) Van Krey. He graduated from Kimberly High School in 1956 and was employed at the Kimberly mill 21 years when he and his brother, Tony, opened Van Krey's Supper Club in Kimberly. Joe also managed the bar and restaurant areas of Appleton Yacht Club and Fox Valley Golf Club before his retirement in 2002. He was a lifelong member of Holy Spirit Church, an avid sports fan since high school, and especially loved the Packers. Joe enjoyed spending time with his family and was very proud of his children and grandchildren. He also loved his pets including his late dog, Bo, which supported him while healing from the death of his first wife, and most recently his cats, Babe and Mr. Taz which loved him through his own illness.
    Joe will be greatly missed by his wife, Judy Willems-Van Krey, Kaukauna; daughter, Carla (Paul) Melanson, Kimberly; sons Dave (Jackie), Mayville; Marty (Debbie), Menasha; and Don (Missy) Van Krey, Appleton; step-children, Cyndi (Jim) Wizgird, Neenah; Wayne (special friend, Lisa) Willems, Weyauwega; and Theresa (Richard) Loughrin, Fremont. He is further survived by his grandchildren; Shea (Jordan) VanProosdy; Nate (fiancée, Ashley), Isaac and Alec Melanson; Ryan, Aaron, Lauren and Seth Van Krey; Elisabeth and Blayne Van Krey; and Turner and Cassie Van Krey; step-grandchildren, Steven and Morry (special friend, Tara) Anderson; Jill (Malcolm) Ellis and Matt (Jackie) Willems; Brian (Samantha) Phillips, Amanda (Tom) McDonald and Jasmine Phillips. Joe has one great-grandchild and 16 step-great-grandchildren.
    Joe's family includes three surviving brothers, John (Shirley), California; Harry, Virginia; and Tony (Joan) Van Krey, Kimberly; Brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Sharon), Richard (Kathy), William (Linda), Donald (Debbie), Thomas (Rose), Howard (Lisa) and Daniel Koester; Carl (Grace), Bill (Donna) and George (Pat) Kessler; and Dave Coenen. Sisters-in-law, Virginia (Richard) Linzmeier; Carol (Mark) Matthies; Jean (Ken) Seidl; Dianne (Dennis) Gostas; Betty Lou (Ken) Muelemans; Susan (Mark) Gitz; Kay (Ed) Fulcer; Gale Van Krey; Liz Biesterveld; and Chris (Rob) Wurzbinski. There are numerous nieces and nephews.
    Those that have preceded him in death are his parents, Martin and Jane Van Krey; his first wife and mother of his children, Mary (Kessler) Van Krey; sister, Ann Diehn; brother, Pete Van Krey; brothers-in-law, Frank Diehn and Ray Biesterveld; sisters-in-law, Jean Van Krey and Joanne Coenen.
    Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, at Holy Spirit Parish, Holy Name Church, 600 E. Kimberly Avenue, Kimberly, with Fr. Bob Kollath officiating.
