West, Richard "Dic k" E.Richard E. West, age 66, of Mountain passed away Friday, March 24, 200 6, at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls. He was born in Applet on on February 27, 1940, to Peter and Helen (Ebelt) West. Richard was marr ied to Joyce Kieffer in Appleton on June 30, 1962. He was a lifelong resid ent of Appleton until they moved to Mountain in 1995 after retiring from A ppleton Papers where he worked for 33 years. Richard loved hunting and fis hing and enjoyed helping out the ambulance service with their cookout s. He was always willing to help out neighbors and strangers.Richard is survived by his wife Joyce; his daughter Christine (Joel) Mille r, Green Bay; son: Brian West, Phoenix, AZ; five brothers: Carl (Vera) Wes t, Appleton; Thomas (Marion) West, Appleton; Jerald (Mary) West, Appleto n; Harry (Diane) West, Shawano; Carl (Joyous) Bowen, Shawano; two sister s: Bonnie Zapp, Appleton; Shirley Brouillard, Appleton; grandson: Steve Mi ller, Green Bay.Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Helen West, a nd by two brothers-in-law: Gerald Zapp and Raymond Brouillard.Funeral services will be held at the Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmo nd Street, on Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Martin Ru ge officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the time of the serv ice. Valley Funeral Home 2211 N.
