    Obituary:
    Jerome P. "Jerry" Coenen, Little Chute, age 92, peacefully went to his eternal reward June 28, 2015 at St. Paul Elder Care with his family at his side. He was born in DePere on November 28, 1922 to the late Henry and Mary (VandeWettering) Coenen. Upon graduating from East DePere High School, Jerry enlisted in the Navy. During WW II he worked in communications as a radio man on various vessels, including destroyers, destroyer escorts, and submarines.
    Jerry married Eunice Coppus on his 24th birthday November 28, 1946 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church.
    October, 1952, marked the beginning of Jerry's Thilmany career. He began in maintenance as a construction laborer. Jerry served a mason apprenticeship and was certified as an I/C Mason in August 1959, the position he held at his retirement.
    In 1977, he became a member of the Quarter Century Club and received his 30 year award in 1982. Jerry was a member of Local 147.
    Jerry is survived by his daughters: Jane (Darrell) Pahl and Judy (Gary) Pahl, all of Greenleaf: grandchildren: Jim (Diana) Pahl, Leanne (Bob) Jakab, and Greg (Emily) Pahl; great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Isabella and Owen Pahl, Amanda and Lauren Jakab, and Owen Johnson; siblings: Harry Coenen and Betty Rentmeester; and sister-in-law Dorothy Coppus. He is furthers survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Eunice; brother: Clarence (Rita) Coenen; and brothers and sisters-in-law: Nancy Coenen, Francis Rentmeester, Margaret (Marvin) Rolf, Bernard and Charles (Betty) Coppus.
    Visitation will be held Thursday July 2, 2015 at ST. JOHN NEPOMUCENE CATHOLIC CHURCH (323 S. Pine St., Little Chute) beginning at 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Ronald Belitz will officiate. Military rites conducted by the Jacob Coppus American Legon Post 258 will immediately follow. Committal St. John Cemetery.     Elizabeth "Betty" Rentmeester, 87, Longtime Allouez resident, died peacefully, Monday, July 18, 2016, at Allouez Parkside Village. She was born February 1, 1929, in the Town of Rockland, to the late Henry and Mary (Vande Wettering) Coenen. Betty attended East De Pere High School graduating in 1947 and then received her CNA Diploma in Florida where she worked in numerous nursing homes. She married Francis Rentmeester on September 2, 1948, at St Mary's Catholic Church in De Pere. He preceded her in death on August 5, 2011. Betty took great pride in raising her family and made sure all the holidays were special. She and Francis started traveling back and forth from Green Bay to Sarasota, Florida in 1970. She was a longtime member of St. Mary of the Angels and St. Martha's Parish in Sarasota. Since her move to Parkside Village, almost five years ago, she has enjoyed many friendships with the residents as well as the staff. Betty looked forward to the activities and especially enjoyed playing Bingo. She always enjoyed engaging in conversation and maintained her wit until her last days.
    Betty is survived by her six children: Carol (Wes) De Grand; Grace (Glen) Gore, all Green Bay; Gloria (Rod) MacDonald, Lakeland, FL; Wayne (Jane) Rentmeester, Sarasota, FL; Janet (Beaver) Miller, St. Port Lucie, FL and Paul (Lori) Rentmeester, Green Bay; 21 grandchildren: Jason (Steph) Coisman; Chris (Rhonda) Coisman; Amber Coisman; Tyler (Ellen) De Grand; Gina (Mike) Jensen; Geri (Danny) Greene; Greg Gore; Ashley Miller; Tiffany and Fiancee, Cory Cummings; Danielle (Mark) Niefield; Jacqui (Taylor) Kelly; Jon Rentmeester; Madi Rentmeester; Jesse, Jamie, Jerod and Janielle MacDonald; Missy (Dave) Hageness; Nicole Rentmeester and her fiancée Aaron Frisbie, Matt Rentmeester and Shawn Rentmeester; 29 great grandchildren; one brother, Harold Coenen, Appleton; two brothers-in-law: Marvin (Myrtle) Rentmeester and Fabian (Enola) Rentmeester, all Green Bay; nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, corner of Cass and Irwin Sts. After 9:00 am Wednesday, July 27, until time of Mass. Funeral Mass 11:00 am Wednesday at the church with Fr. Patrick Gawrylewski OFM officiating. Entombment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.     Obituary:
    Harold "Harry" Coenen, age 81, of Appleton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017. Harry was born on June 24, 1936, in Green Bay to the late Henry and Mary (Vande Wettering) Coenen. He married Nancy C. Gerhartz on May 30, 1958, in Kaukauna; she preceded him in death on February 3, 2015. Following his graduation from East DePere High School he attended Green Bay Technical Barber College. He purchased his first barber shop in 1967 in Appleton and became well-known throughout the community for his skills and excellent service. During his over six decade career at the barber shop, Harry was also very involved in youth sports in the Valley. He was a WIAA official for football, basketball, baseball and softball; he was a commissioner and coach in Appleton Little League baseball; was a Babe Ruth League coach; and coached basketball for the Pius X Catholic Church grade school. Harry was also long-time season ticket holder for the Green Bay Packers. Harry was also a long-time member of St. Pius X Catholic Church and an active volunteer in many church programs.
    Harry and Nancy were blessed with four sons, Jeffrey (Kathy) Coenen, Pickerel, Wisconsin; Scott (Val) Coenen, Combined Locks; and Kevin (Aleshia) Coenen, Pleasanton, California, survive. His son, Greg, preceded him in death in 1998. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Jason Coenen; Bryant (Beth) Gasper; Steven (Sarah) Gasper; Kelly (Brad) Uecker; Amy (Stephen) DeWitt; Nicole (Gabriel) Brickler, Korina (Jared) Heuvel; Jordan Coenen; Kevin Wade; Moniay (Linda) Wade; Stokley Chassee; and Brittany Coenen; his great grandchildren, Vanessa Gasper; Samuel, Shawn, Seth and Scarlett Gasper; Hailey and Morgan Uecker, Gregory DeWitt; Lexus Brickler; Rhian, Ryder, Jax and Keegan Huevel; Keegan Thiel; Kayden Wade and Korina Wade; and his sister-in-law, Mary (Jim) Nussbaum. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his son Gregory; his siblings, Jerome (Eunice) Coenen; Clarence (Rita) Coenen and Betty (Francis) Rentmeister; his in-laws, Shirley (George) Hurst; Norman (Rosalie) Gerhartz, Donald (Marie) Gerhartz and Patricia (Lee) Nagel.
    The Funeral Liturgy for Harry will be at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at ST. PIUS X CATHOLIC CHURCH, 500 W. Marquette Street, Appleton, with Fr. James Jugenheimer, officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Appleton. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. David Lenz and his staff - especially Pat; his caregiver Paula Kabat; and the staff of ICU at AMC, for their loving care. Thanks are also due to Ken, Bob and Don for operating the barbershop during Harry's illness. Harry and his family would also like to gratefully thank his patrons over the past 60 years for their loyalty and friendship. He enjoyed bu ilding Go Carts, lawn-mower racing, watching auto racing and fishing.Survivors include his mom, Rita; his sisters and brothers, Kathleen and Ga ry Coppus, Kaukauna; Robert and Ellen Coenen, De Pere; Patricia and Neil P ipkorn, De Pere; Joseph Coenen, Waynesboro, Ga.; James Coenen, Pembine, Ro nald Coenen, De Pere; Janet Coenen, Eden Prairie, Minn.; Roy’s special fri end, Mary Jahnke, De Pere; seven nieces and nephews as well as his two pup ils, Nick and Josh.Roy was preceded in death by his father, Clarence A. Coenen and a siste r, Julie.Friends may call at Cotter Funeral Home, 860 N. Webster Ave., De Pere, fr om 4 until 9 p.m. Tuesday. Parish Prayer Service 7 p.m. Tuesday. On Wednes day friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Community, Pope John XXIII Circl e, off Sportsmans Dr., Town of Ledgeview, from 10 a.m. until time of servi ce. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m. Wednesday. at the church with the Re v. John H. Harper officiating. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, De Pere.
