Simon, Adele L. Age 55 of Woodbury, formerly of Appleton, WI, passed away on 11/2/15.
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Marie (nee Walker) Simon; grandparents, Anton and Sophia (nee Otte) Simon and Edwin and Rose (nee Hartmanstorfer) Walker; and other relatives.
Survived by siblings, Gregory (Dianna) Simon, Kathleen Simon, Mary Jo (Jim) Zanton, Jerald (Denise) Simon and Daniel (Lori) Simon; nieces and nephews, Victoria Simon, Nicole (Jason) Lenz, Christine (Rob) Nelson, Geoffrey (Sara) Zanton, Jennifer (Michael) Mood, Patricia Zanton, Marie (Adam) Stapleton, Elizabeth (Jon) Maloto, Thomas (Caitlyn) Zanton, Stephen Zanton, Jerald (Suzanne) Simon, Joshua (Shelece) Simon, Anthony (Elicia) Simon, Joseph Simon, Thomas (Jessica) Simon, Rebecca (Tyler) Christensen, Chelsea Simon and Casey Simon; special friends, Lori Kelly, Thomas Carroll and Larry Iwen; utmost respect and thanks to Dr. Jannica Groom, Dr. Randy Hurley and Dr. Jonathan Sellman.
Adele loved to chat with family and friends, shop, travel, drink coffee, go to concerts, read, learn, eat ice cream and chocolate, listen to music and she was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. She enjoyed playing piano, singing and teaching. Adele was a fantastic sister, aunt, teacher, mentor and friend. She was an inspiration to all she met. Regardless of her pain and struggles, she always learned your name and was concerned about how your day was going. "Because I knew you…I have been changed for good."
Mass of Christian Burial 4 PM Friday 11/6/15 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 8260 4th St. N, Oakdale with a visitation starting at 1:30 PM until time of Mass. Interment 10 AM Tuesday 11/10/15 at St. Mary's Cemetery in Kaukauna, WI .
Thanks to the staff at Regions Hospital, particularly the 6th Floor South and the Cancer Care Center, especially Marit and Stephanie. Memorials preferred to Regions Hospital Cancer Care Center, Histiocytosis Association of America.
