You will see me in the spring my, Henry, Dear
When the last of the chicks have hatched.
After the seeds are sewn and the days become warm
You'll see me picking pine cones from the grass.
And as summer ends, as fall begins
My Children, you will feel me as the breeze.
I will pick you an ear of sweetcorn and surely think of me.
And as the days get cold, Grandchildren
Surely know that you will always feel my touch,
As you squeeze on the mittens I made you, that you always loved so much.
A grandma's touch is never gone,
A mother's job is never done,
So watch for me as the seasons change and you all will feel my love.

Hilbert - Henry H. Renn, 62, of Hilbert, died on January 8, 2018, at Theda Care Medical Center in Appleton surrounded by his wife, Terry, and their children. He was born December 7, 1955, in Appleton, son of Henry and Hermmina (Schreiber) Renn.
Henry loved classic country music, especially Tom T. Hall, Ronnie Milsap, and Asleep at the Wheel. He even enjoyed playing music - he was once an accordion player in a polka band. It was during one of the band's shows that he met Terry Hockers. They hit it off and on June 7, 1975, Henry married Terry and they went on to have six children.
Henry was a dairy farmer his whole life, taking great pride in the farmstead he and his wife owned outside St. John. He also knew how to enjoy his free time. He liked spending his time outdoors, camping, deer hunting, traveling up north to visit family, and napping under the shade tree outside of his home. Indoors, Henry liked antiquing with Terry, playing Sheepshead with his relatives, and collecting coins.
Henry was a fan of the Green Bay Packers, Ford trucks, and Case tractors. He was a devout Democrat and he loved his family; he enjoyed being a part of his grandchildren's activities and he was very close to his sister, Lucy.
Henry is survived by his wife, Terry; his father, Henry; his children: Jennifer (Jonathan) Bretl, Molly (Erich) O'Brien, Henry "Hank" Renn, Frank Renn, Casey Renn, and Spencer Renn; grandchildren: Alex Jo Bretl, Abby Bretl, Evan Bretl, Emalee Bretl, Kaitlyn O'Brien, Kendra O'Brien, Claire O'Brien, Kevin O'Brien, Hayden Renn; sisters: Frances (Michael) Malcheski, and Lucy (Robert) Kesler; brothers: Matthew (Ann) Renn and Michael (Tracy) Renn; sister-in-law: Nancy (Al) Tilkens; brother-in-law: Larry (Jean) Hockers; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
