    Gunther, Marion G.
    Marion G. Gunther, Menasha, age 89, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2008, at Oakridge Gardens, Menasha, WI. She was born on September 3, 1919, daughter of the late Rudy and Anna (Stein) Forster. She married Cyril Gunther, on July 30, 1949; he preceded her in death on December 11, 1998. Marion loved knitting and crafting and donated her work to hospitals, her church, and the community. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church of Menasha.
    Marion is survived by her three children: Robert (Linda) Gunther, Mississ-ippi, William (Tracy) Gunther, Neenah, Barbara (Gary) Elmer, Neenah; a brother, Hubert Forster, Appleton; a sister, Helen North, NC; six grandchildren: David (Mary Anna), Neil (Jennifer), Katie, Paul (Angel), Tommy (Valerie), Carrie (Jason) Moore; five great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
    Marion was also preceded in death by her five brothers: Edward, Andrew, Norbert, Raymond, Kenneth; and five sisters: Dorothy Beschta, Irene Schmidt, Eunice Strege, Margaret Miller and Joan Gmeiner.
    The funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 20, 2008, at St. John Catholic Church, 516 De Pere Street, Menasha, with Fr. Paul Radetski officiating. Family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church. Internment will take place at St. John Cemetery, Menasha.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and all the caregivers of Oakridge Gardens, Heartland Hospice, and Theda Clark, who lovingly took care of Marion.
