Obituary:
Delilias (Dee) W. (Dittman) Kielgas, age 93, died Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Carolina Manor in Appleton. Dee was born in March of 1915, in the town of Washington, Shawano County, the daughter of the late Elmer and Emilie (Becker) Dittman. She was a graduate of Kaukauna High School and on November 6, 1937, married Erwin Kielgas at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kaukauna. Dee enjoyed bowling, doing crafts and was an avid Packer fan.
She is survived by two children: William (Elaine) Kielgas, Grayslake, IL and Susan (Arthur) Fochs, Appleton, WI; five grandchildren: Mark (Kim) Kielgas. Bruce (Jennifer) Kielgas, Brian (Caroline) Fochs, Kari (Jeff) George and Tracy (Aaron) Michaelson; and eight great grand children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister: Pearl Hurst, brother-in-law: Harold Hurst, nephews, nieces and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009, at 11 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, Hilbert, WI with Rev. Brian Crane officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park. Family and friends may call directly at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, Dee is requesting gifts to St. Peters Lutheran Church or a charity of your choice. Wieting Funeral Home of Brillion is assisting the family with arrangements.
