    Obituary:
    Raymond F. Marcks, 99, Green Bay, died peacefully on Dec. 15, 2004, at a local hospital. Born on April 18, 1905, he is the son of the late John and Wilhelmina (Ohm) Marcks. On June 14, 1941, he married the former Doris De Keyser, and she preceded him in death on March 13, 2002. Ray worked as a mechanic at Bouschards Standard Service for many years. He enjoyed fishing, biking, walking, gardening, cooking, and reading. His contagious smile and kind spirit made him many friends throughout the years. Ray had a deep faith, and was a member, trustee, greeter, and candle maker at East Side Moravian Church.
    Ray is survived by his two daughters and one son-in-law, Charlotte (Marvin) Mertens, Allouez; Carol Marcks, Little Chute; five grandchildren, Jeff (Kris) Mertens, Washington, Ill.; Michael (Karen) Mertens, Seymour; Scott (Anna) Mertens, Sturgeon Bay; Holly Toonen, Mike (Jamie) Klika, all of Allouez; six great-grandchildren, Hanna and Marissa Mertens, Josh and Bret Mertens, Shaun Hurning, Cole and Christian Toonen; one sister, Helen (Harold) Lathrop, Black Creek; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Betty LaGrave, Green Bay.
    He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, four brothers, Victor, Melvin, Harvey, and Gordon.
    Friends may call at East Side Moravian Church, corner of Allouez Avenue and Libal Street, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the memorial services.     Joyce Thiel, 310 Fulton Street, Seymour, age 81, died Wednesday evening, December 8, 2010, at her home with family by her side. She was born May 14, 1929, daughter of the late Melvin and Harriet (Tubbs) Marcks. On June 14, 1947, she was united in marriage to James Thiel at the Cicero United Methodist Church. She was a lifelong resident of the area and farmed with her husband in the Town of Cicero until retirement. Joyce was an active member of the United Methodist Church and Cicero United Methodist Women. She lived her life in service to the Lord.
    She is survived by her children three sons and daughters-in-law: John (Sue) Thiel, Green Bay; Michael (Shirley) Thiel, Seymour; Bill (Lori) Thiel, Seymour; five daughters and sons-in-law: Marilyn (Terry) Butters, Beloit; Sharon (Ken) Blohm, Seymour; Susan (Jim) Elliott, Texas; Virginia (Bruce) Cameranesi, Brookfield; Victoria (John) Smits, Oshkosh.     Richard W. Marcks, age 78, New London died on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Residence, following a several month illness. Dick was born on April 26, 1934, in Cicero Township, Outagamie County, son of the late Gordon and Lorraine (Lorenz) Marcks. On July 30, 1960, he was united in marriage to Dorla Steinberg at Bethlehem Church, Hortonville. Dick worked for Murphy's Concrete and Construction for 40 years, retiring in 1998. He enjoyed fishing, camping with his family, playing cards and watching Packers, Brewers and other sports. He served his country in the US Navy.
    Dick is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Dorla; daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Mueller, Appleton; Amy (Brian) Huber, Waukesha; 2 brothers, Robert Marcks and Gerald "Bucky" (Sue) Marcks both of New London; 2 sisters, Ginny Peters, Rockton, IL and Fern (Dave) Rusch, New London. He is further survived by six grandchildren: Christopher Mueller, Kelsey Mueller, Jesselyn Burr, Laura Huber, Michael Huber, and Aaron Huber, and also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Funeral services for Dick will be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London with Rev. Marcus Schulz officiating. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
    The family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Residence for all the wonderful care they gave to Dick.

    New London - Gerald Gordan Marcks, age 76, of New London passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at his daughter's home in Roscoe Illinois, peacefully surrounded by his family. Bucky was born on July 23, 1941 to the late Gordon and Lorraine (Lorenz) Marcks in Nichols, WI. He was united in marriage to Sue Herres on June 27, 1966. Bucky was a lifelong Cubs fan, loved doing crossword puzzles and golfing. He worked for 34 years at Kimberly Clark Atlas Mill in Appleton until retiring in 1999. He served his country in the US Army. Bucky especially loved being with his family.
    Bucky is survived by his wife Sue; children, Melissa (Scott) Gilles, Roscoe, IL, Jeri Lynn Navoichik, Appleton, WI and Nicole Austin, St. Pete Beach, FL; 7 grandchildren, Britney (Matt) McKay, Tyler Gilles, Tanner (fiancé Ashley) Gilles, Jakob Dietrich, Michael Navoichik, Calli Austin and Riley Buck Austin; 4 great-grandchildren, Tabitha, Theodore, Natania and Stella; siblings, Robert Marcks, Ginny Peters and Fern (Dave) Rusch and sister-in-law, Dorla Marcks. Bucky is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Bucky was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard, sister-in-law, Joyce Marcks and brother-in-law, Bill Peters.
    The funeral service for Bucky will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Rev. Greg Watling will be officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Full military honors will take place at the funeral home.

    Obituary:
    Jeffrey D. Marcks, 55, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer, at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born January 27, 1959, son of Donald Marcks and the late Beverly (Baxter) Marcks.
    In 1988 he was united in marriage to Connie Weber.
    Jeff attended Seymour High School, Class of 1977. He was employed with Mc Dermid Transportation in Oconto Falls. He enjoyed trucking, riding his Harley, four wheeling with his jeep, visiting with family and friends and playing his harmonica.
    He is survived by his wife, Connie; son, Joseph "Joey" Marcks (special friend Nikki), Seymour; daughter, Dana Sherin, Sparta and her children: Justice, Alex, Trysten, Joel and Olivia; his father, Donald Marcks, Black Creek; siblings: Greg (Kris) Marcks, Black Creek; Scott (Mary) Marcks, Black Creek; Laura Dahl, Bismarck, N.D.; Lisa (Don) Burno, Pulaski; Matthew (Allison) Marcks, Black Creek; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Adam "Red" and Bernice Weber, Shawano; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Joanne Weber, Diane Peotter, and Steve (Sherri) Weber; godchild, Nikolas; numerous nieces and nephews.
    Friends may call at Muehl-Boettcher Funeral Home, Seymour on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. and visitation will continue on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at New Life Community Church, 6258 Crest Drive in Pulaski from 9:30 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Wied officiating.
