Hanrahan, Rose Clare (nee Keelan)
MIDDLETON - Rose Clare (nee Keelan) Hanrahan, age 83, died peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005. She was born on June 27, 1921, in Milwaukee, to parents Earl S. and Anna (Kieferle) Keelan. She proudly served in the Woman's Army Corps in WWII. Rose Clare married Kenneth F. Hanrahan on January 25, 1944, in Milwaukee. Together they operated the West Allis Fish Market for 40 years. She was a loving mother and was forever devoted to her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; children Mark F. (partner Abbie Povletich), John D. (Susan), Thomas K. (Caprice), Daniel J., William E. (Anne LeGare) and Catherine Hanrahan (partner Debbie Rivera); 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Robert P. and Gerrard, brothers; Father Daniel Keelan and Robert Keelan Sr. and sister, Doris Feiertag. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Avenue, Madison, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
