    Obituary:
    Alan J. Landreman, Kaukauna, age 59, died unexpectedly on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at Theda Clark Medical Center. He was born July 29, 1949, in Appleton son of William and Joan (Van Lankvelt) Landreman. On December 1, 1972, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Nelessen at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kaukauna. Alan was an U.S. Army Veteran who served in Korea during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a machine tender at Thilmany Paper for the past 42 years. Alan was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and supported the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers. He enjoyed taking his family on road trips, camping, and especially visiting Door County.
    He is survived by his wife Bonnie; his mother, Joan; his three children: Christine (Heath) Hoffmann, Daniel (Dawn), and Elaina Landreman, a granddaughter, Cali; a sister, Cindy (Jim) Blair; a brother, Tom Landreman; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy (Kenn) Micke. He is further survived by nieces and a nephew: Sadie (Cory) Swedberg, Abby (Joe) Schmidt, Allison (David) Orlovsky, Marissa (Kevin) Lefers, Jessie and Clint Micke.
    He was preceded in death by his father, William, father and mother-in-law, Urban and Betty Nelessen, two brothers-in-law: John and Charles Nelessen, as well as aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
    The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at St. Katharine Drexel Parish at St. Aloysius Site, 2401 Main Avenue, Kaukauna, with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kaukauna. Friends may call on Sunday July 5, 2009, at BOETTCHER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 2401 Fieldcrest Dr., Kaukauna from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. concluding the evening. Friends may call again directly at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Alan's name. (920-766-2099).
    You were a great husband, father, grandfather and man. We love you and will miss you dearly.
