    Obituary:
    Ruth F. Much, age 84, of Hortonville, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2009, at Colony Oaks Care Center in Appleton. She was born on January 1, 1925, in Almond, daughter of the late Ervin and Martha (Barth) Lienhard. On August 14, 1943, she married Norman H. Much in Hortonville. He preceded her in death on January 6, 1996. Ruth graduated from New London High School in 1942. She along with her husband farmed in the Hortonville area until 1957. She then worked at Wire Products in Hortonville for 32 years retiring in 1989. After her retirement, she loved to travel by RV, plant flowers, gardening, and going up north to the trailer. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville.
    She is survived by a daughter, Karen Much and friend Scott; Hortonville; son, Keith Much and friend Lynnette, Chandler, Arizona; grandchild, J.R., Seattle, WA; step-grandchildren, Yvette Villalpando, Robert (Sierra) Delgado; also four step great-grandchildren, brother, Loran (Bette) Lienhard, Waupun; two sisters: Rosalind (William) Meehan, Ripon; Violet (Gerald) Slot, Decatur, Illinois; sister-in-law: Lucille Lienhard, New London. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anita (Donald) Loomans, brothers: Harold (Adeline) Lienhard, Raymond Lienhard and Elmer (Ruth) Lienhard.
    The Christian Funeral for Ruth will be held on Friday, July 31, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville with Rev. Ralph Rosenberg officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Hortonville. Friends may call at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville on Thursday, July 30, 2009, from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Donations may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Hortonville.
    The family would like to extend a special thank you to Heartland Hospice, Colony Oaks Care Center and also Home Caregivers for their care and concern.
