    Obituary:
    Allen Gasper, age 60, of Appleton, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Appleton Medical Center after a lengthy battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis. He was born on September 12, 1951, to the late Merton and Margaret (Miller) Gasper. He married Lori Meyer on February 14, 2006. Al was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He was employed in the Maintenance Department of Alcan Packaging for over 36 years. He was a long-time member of the Kaukauna Moose Lodge #953. Al was well-known as a skillful wood worker. Survivors include his wife, Lori; his sons Ron and Peter; his step-children Scott Nebbefelt, Roger (Susan) Miller, Ryan (Jen) Miller, Amber (Bob) Hicks; his sisters Mary (Jim) Palmbach, April Blair, Barb (Mike) Gostas; his brother, David (Julie) Gasper; his grandchildren, Jayden, Seren and Tavin Gasper; his step-grandchildren, Ella, Ali, Sienna, Kaia, Drake, Riley and Kendra; his nieces and nephews, Brian, Sarah, Kim, Diane, Ken and Bill; and his sister-in-law, Marlene (Rob) Zastrow. Al is further survived by his beloved dogs, Toto and Pita. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Margy Paradese and Susan Krazyzanik, and his wife, Joni (nee Trader). Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at ST. THOMAS EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 226 Washington Street, Menasha, with Fr. Ralph Osborne officiating. Friends may call directly at the church on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. Al's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of his physicians, their staffs, and a his caregivers, for their loving care. Online condolences may be offered at www.wichmannfargo.com
