    Shirley A. Huss, age 88, of Kaukauna, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Alten Haus in Neenah. She was born on November 30, 1927 to the late Lester and Caroline (Karls) Schlender. She married Cletus Huss on May 8, 1948.
    Shirley spent many summers with her husband at their cottage on Lake Winnebago where they would enjoy the company of their neighbors. She loved crocheting and making many afghans and wash cloths for family members. Shirley was a member of Friends of 1000 Island's Nature Center and the VFW Auxiliary for many years. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
    Shirley is survived by her son, Terry (Barb) Huss; grandchildren: Mike (Meghan) Huss, Jennifer (Jon) Techlin, and Laura (Jerry) Bain; great grandchildren: Damian, Jeromy, and Gabriel Huss; Anna and Lucy Techlin; and Owen, Logan, Caleb, and Piper Bain; sisters-in-law: Donna Huss, Kay Huss, Jean Huss, and Mary Van Groll; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Cletus; sister Joan; brothers-in-law: Cyril (Marge) Huss, Roland Huss, Gary Huss, Clayton Huss, Peter Huss, Jr., and Marv Van Groll; and a sister-in-law: Joanne (George) Ver Voort; and other family members.
    A Funeral Service for Shirley will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 27, 2016 at ST. KATHARINE DREXEL PARISH AT ST. MARY CHURCH, 119 W Seventh Street, Kaukauna with Fr. Jerry Pastors officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.     Dolores Yingling, Weyauwega, formerly of Appleton, age 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease on Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Weyauwega Health Care Center. Dolores was born on September 22, 1923, in Appleton to the late William and Gertrude (Auguste) Schlender. At a young age Dolores learned how to play the guitar and shared her music on WLS Radio in Chicago. She enjoyed riding Harley and Indian Motorcycles. On December 1, 1949, she married Norbert Robert Yingling, and they shared 32 wonderful years until he preceded her in death in October of 1982, after which she moved from the city to the country to start a new life with her daughter and son-in-law. Dolores was a long-time employee of Zwicker's Knitting Mill.
    She will be sadly missed by her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Russell Belling, Weyauwega; a niece Karla, two nephews: Tom and Bill and all family members.
    In addition to her parents and her husband, Norbert, she was preceded in death by her sister June Kabke.
    Funeral services for Dolores will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2008, at the Wichmann Funeral Home Tri-County Chapel with Pastor Barry Hoerz officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.

    Donald R. "Don" Stegeman, Kaukauna, age 81, passed away at Appleton Medical Center on Sunday, February 3, 2008, with his loving wife of 59 years and family by his side. He was born in Kaukauna on July 13, 1926, the son of the late Royal Stegeman and Wilma Stegeman-Kent. Donald enlisted in the Navy when he was 17 years old, and was proud to have served on the U.S.S. Isherwood DD-520 in the Pacific during WWII. On June 26, 1948, he married Julia Vosters at St. John Catholic Church, Little Chute. He was employed by Thilmany for over 42 years, retiring in 1988. Don enjoyed spending time with his family; square dancing, traveling, shopping and time at his cottage at Lake Winnebago. He was especially proud of being the Secretary-Treasurer of the U.S.S Isherwood DD-520 Association, and organized many reunions for the organization throughout the United States.
    Don is survived by his wife, Julia; children: Wilma (Marvin) Van Rossum of Stockbridge, Dr. Ronald (Dona) Stegaman, D.D.S. of Janesville, and Scott (Katy) Stegeman of Kimberly; grandchildren: Ashleigh Stegeman, Alexander (Stephanie) Stegeman, Amanda (fiance, Matt) Stegeman and Nicholas and Ethan Stegeman; step-grandchildren: Bryan (Kay), Michael (Beth), Jeffery (Char), Mark (Jenny), and Sherry Van Rossum, and Karen (Jeff) Klieber; brother, Harvey (Anna Mae) Stegeman of Wyoming, MI; brother-in-law: Louis (special friend, Jan) Vosters of Palm Springs, CA; and sisters-in-law: Bernice (Paul) Boucher of Gresham and Hazel (special friend, Willie) Vosters of Little Chute. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews.
    Don was preceded in death by his step-father, Everett Kent; father- and mother-in-law, Herman and Mathilda Vosters; son-in-law, Ernest "Ernie" Cram, III; brothers-in-law, Marvin and Urban Vosters; sister-in-law, Joyce Vosters.
    The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2008, at the Star of Hope Chapel, Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton, with Pastor Samuel Garbi officiating, with a military honor service to follow conducted by the William Verhagen Post #60, Kimberly. Friends will be received at the chapel on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Entombment will be in the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum.
    The family extends a special thank you to the staff of the I.C.U and 2 South Cardiology at Appleton Medical Center; especially Will, Randy, Travis, Kelly, Amy and Ryan for their compassionate care.
    A memorial fund in Don's name will be established.
